We will absolutely be back to enjoy the tours she told us about on our next vacations. The wine is divine and I know which one I am purchasing! Thank you Vanessa!”

“We started going in there a few weeks ago or a month and I tried liver onions and they were great. I also got a side order. I think of some kind of a Mexican dish and we went in there a few days ago and the husband got the biggest hamburger he had. He couldn't even open his mouth wide enough to take a big bite. The food there is excellent. Anybody that comes into town needs to find them by Peppers, Grocery Store and have lunch or dinner. They open at 11:00 on. I think it's why you just have to Google them I forgot damn fantastic ice cream there. I got a couple scoops of Rocky Road. It had been yours since I had Rocky Road and my husband had mint chips. So if you just want to go in for an ice cream you can do that”

“Man oh man, do I recommend!! They have the best Strawberry Rhubarb pie I’ve ever had!! Perfect!! The cinnamon roll was soft with the perfect amount of cinnamon. I couldn’t stop eating it. I also tried the jalapeño cheddar bread and it was delicious!! I’ll definitely be back!!”

“Recently had my MOMS funeral luncheon catered by Oly and her staff. The food was delicious and they took care of everything. This restaurant is by far the best in Deming and my favorite. The red and green enchiladas were perfect as well as the carne with red chile! Highly recommend La Fonda! Next time we are back I will definitely need some chile rellenos😋 10 star restaurant!! “The only thing that is not good is that they close so early. I would like to eat better more then just 2:00pm and with this being practically the only place to eat healthy. it’s inconvenient. Most days I can’t make it by the time they close. Love the food tho and the staff is great.”

“Hoping to try the Khadi Pakora and Baingan Bhartha next. We’ve eaten here twice in two weeks and will be back every week hence. Neat truck-stop diner vibe. Very clean. The owners are lovely kind and neighborly. Plenty of vegetarian choices. Safe parking. Long haul truckers, you need to park and eat here. Anyone who appreciates fresh cooked meals, kind people and large portions for very reasonable prices needs to frequent this charming diner.”

“This food truck is easy to find. We ordered Carne asada quesadilla and chicharron burrito. Both are yummy. They have a table and chairs for those who want to dine in. We wanted to dine in but it's too cold, so we ended up eating inside the car. There's no parking area but I guess we can use the parking area beside it.”

“Great little takeout restaurant. The breakfast burritos are large, inexpensive and delicious (I get bacon, egg, potato, cheese). The smothered burrito plates are AWESOME and also huge. I get the plates and extra sides of rice and beans--a whole container of each is about 2 dollars. Call in your order for pickup for faster service. My favorite takeout place. Wish they were opened on weekends!”

“My family's been going to the Road Runner since it was a 24-hour/day truck stop when the only thing in Pojoaque was the Runner and La Mesita across the highway. . My long-time favorite is the green chile chicken enchilada , with the best sopapillas in the county, and American-style endless cups of coffee with cream. Their (all day) breakfast burritos, smothered or handheld, and menudo are, around here, considered the breakfasts of champions. And for non-locals, they have a nice patty melt.”

“Overall a great stop after the cinema, the male host looked a little annoyed when we walked in even though they were slow maybe he was just having an off day. As a business manager myself I would remind him he is the first Interaction and impression a customer has with the business, he sets the entire tone and mood, smile!

Server was a sweetheart, and nailed every aspect of her job. She made up for Mr grumpy pants at the door 😂

Restaurant was clean, we'll kept up, and had a good vibe to it. Only small complaint was the obscene music playing from the kitchen to the dining room and only because I had my niece with me. (waitress apologized, again she was an absolute sweetheart)”
