“The food and drinks were AMAZING!! We went here for our 30th anniversary. I had the Bison Tender Loin which was flavored and cooked to perfection and the carrot puree and broccolini were perfect compliments. The wife had King Salmon and it too was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We started with the Jumbo lump crab cake and was leery about the pimento cheese but after trying it it too as excellent! Wish I knew the Maitre D name but he was very accommodating and helpful. P.S. Make reservations for the dining room even on a Monday!!! The ambiance was phenomenal dining with the apple trees made for a perfect anniversary dinner. If ever in Taos this is a must on your bucket list and I know we will be back.“

“We heard about the Love Apple while planning for our trip to Taos and decided to make sure to include it as a required stop. This place is a must stop if you visit Taos! The ambience of the location makes it perfect for a cozy meal, featuring amazing food and wine. The wait staff was very attentive and welcoming and made our visit top notch. “Beautiful dining area although we didn't get to stay there. We were seated next to a group of four who were actively visiting and our hostess graciously offered to move us to the bar dining area for a quieter experience. This area was not as formal or elegant but had beautiful tropical plants and very private. The chef special , sea bass over forbidden rice and delicate vegetables was outstanding. The glazed salmon was also tasty, but a bit overcooked. The waiter was a bit rusty but knew how to be attentive without being intrusive. Great experience overall.“

“Creative and beautifully prepared cuisine. The menu offers multiple dishes that happen to be vegan. We tried four of them, and each was as delicious as the next. These were complete vegan dishes, crafted by a chef who clearly has knowledge of plant-based cuisine. Some of the dishes included an excellent house made vegan kimchi and other pickled vegetables. We've had the good fortune to have eaten at many amazing vegan restaurants, and recommend this 100% to vegans and nonvegans alike.

Also offers an excellent NA mixed drink, as well as one NA beer. Also a carefully curated wine list.

Vegetarian options: Vegan options--lots, including a vegan dessert (at lease on the night we dined there).

The waffle fries were tasty and a nice treat. We were looking for a nice dessert of ice cream and were delighted to order their homemade apple pie a la mode. “Great place to eat, drink and if sitting outside, watch skiers and snowboarders come down the slopes. Food was really good and atmosphere, inside and out, was perfect. Also friendly staff and service. This was our goto hangout pretty much every day, whether eating or just resting. The swiss bacon burger with fries and beef tacos were excellent. Highly recommend.“

“An off night for 192. They apparently were short of staff; we were seated at our favorite table promptly but no one had been assigned to that table. We waited 15 minutes before someone finally took notice that we were being ignored. The menu was not as robust and enticing as last summer, and for desert the only offerings were scoops of vanilla gelato or sorbet. Perhaps management was waiting to introduce the new summer menu beginning with the long July 4 holiday, but last night's experience was several notches below what we had become accustomed to last summer and winter.“

“Finally tried this restaurant we did take out and do have a ways home so understand it wasn't still hot but that being said was still warm and good. My husband had the chicken fried steak. I had a philly and besides the bread being a bit burnt it was good. We enjoyed the side salad and pickle fries! The regular fries are not for us! Can't wait to try more on the menu and dine in! ?“

“This was a great bar stop. Live music, happy people. Service was fantastic. Margs were spot on and food was fantastic. It got 4 stars because the queso was nacho cheese. But the guacamole and the salsa were both very good. Also, people are over red dyed tortilla chips please stop serving them.“

“An establishment ran by two female servers who identify themselves as management. On Sunday evening September 4th. Issue: Their printer stopped working! We asked where was our food. We were not happy. Would you be? We were told, we could refuse you service and kick you out or refund your money back! We chose to have our monies refunded. They chose to serve us! I hope like my sister said, if your parents dine at an establishment somewhere they do not get treated like crap like we did! Will not ever step a foot back at that establishment. Word of mouth travels when you are a local!“
