“My sweetie and I hardly ever go out to eat in this town, we usually just cook at home. However, the Trading Post is a staple that draws us out regularly.
Great, well rounded menu, good prices, and such talented cooks in that kitchen! 🤌The food is always cooked to absolute perfection and the service is great! Shout out to the new server who was there tonight, you were awesome! And shoutout to the whole staff for always providing a great experience all around. Excellent place to go if you are having a shit day and need a pick me up🍔🌮 All will be well at the Trading Post.

P.s. 💌 Awesome selection of cookbooks to look through in the back dining area. And dont you forget to peep that dessert refrigerator before you go.

“The food and drinks were AMAZING!! We went here for our 30th anniversary. I had the Bison Tender Loin which was flavored and cooked to perfection and the carrot puree and broccolini were perfect compliments. The wife had King Salmon and it too was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We started with the Jumbo lump crab cake and was leery about the pimento cheese but after trying it it too as excellent! Wish I knew the Maitre D name but he was very accommodating and helpful. P.S. Make reservations for the dining room even on a Monday!!! The ambiance was phenomenal dining with the apple trees made for a perfect anniversary dinner. If ever in Taos this is a must on your bucket list and I know we will be back.”

“What a special gem just off the Taos plaza! We bought several bars that we loved, but most of all the mousse bar was our favorite! We came back every day of our visit to get a new flavor. The servings are small, but they are so rich and flavorful, you're more than satisfied. Just delicious.”

“A simple fresh cafe vibes with amazing food to fork cusine. If they dont make it in house they buy from small local makers. All organic high vibe ingredients.

Its a seat yourself and order at the counter place. The line moves quick and the food comes quick.

“Yes. I am the guy who always wants to know where the really good food is. Even in a small town, there’s always something good. Found it in Taos: the Taos Chicharron Burrito (it’s a food truck). The Chicharron Burrito was divine. Simple. Fresh, hot tortilla filled with Chicharron, perfect beans, and cheese. Crunchy, yet chewy, and absolutely delicious. Sitting under a big red umbrella under the beautiful blue sky and listening to the distant sound of Mexican radio, spatulas clacking, and happily talking. I’ll be back.”

“Love this place. The cocktails are fantastic, and the bartenders are always friendly. We love the live music, and the volume and acoustics are perfect, to still be able to have a conversation and enjoy the entertainment. This is our go-to in Taos and we bring all of our out-of-town guests.”
