“I’m not a big fan of pasta but my husband is, we found this place while walking around downtown and exploring a bit, and we decided to tried. OMG this blow up my mind, mac&cheese here is DELICIOUS, if I wanna eat pasta I’m definitely coming back here, I don’t mind driving 4-5 hrs. Me and my husband ordered a size medium container of mac&cheese and it was super cheap and they give you A LOT. We were super full. Congrats to the owner.“

“This is a mixed review. Jospeh is a formidable chef, but the restaurant itself is run down, chairs uncomfortable, noise level excessive and service sketchy. Some of our food (Duck confit pad thai and mixed mushrooms) was excellent, but the watermelon gazpacho was way too heavy on the garlic, and my husband couldn't eat it. Tuna tartare was mediocre and overpriced. Waitress couldn't stop asking how things were "TASTING", but didn't wait for an answer! Building should probably be condemned and the decor is falling apart.“

“If you are in Santa Fe you absolutely have to visit Tres Colores! We were up there with family and friends for my dad's internment in the national cemetery. There were 13 of us that showed up for lunch without calling ahead. The space is small but they didn't even bat an eye. They quickly slid tables and chairs together and seated us. Service was excellent and the food was some of the best I've ever had. The presentation was beautiful and flavor was phenomenal. I don't think I will ever be satisfied with nachos from anywhere else. It was so well balanced. I am grateful for the hospitality they provided and will always remember this experience.“

The staff was attentive, friendly, and kind throughout the evening. The sashimi was phenomenal as always, tofu “pasta” was really fun, and the apple kimchi salad was fresh and different. We always love going there for fancy date nights, and I don't see that changing any time soon :)“

All of my tapas were pretty delish, and I really liked their Spanish mushroom soup, papatas bravas and and mussels with coconut milk salsa verde: everything was spot on. The gateau basque dessert kinda ruined my meal: it seems to have been sitting in the fridge for the day but it was certainly not made fresh and I could hardly taste vanilla bean in it. “The food at La Choza is excellent. There are a ton of vegetarian options, and the green chiles and margaritas are delicious. We went to this restaurant 2 out of 3 days we were in Santa Fe, and if we were staying longer, we would go again. The server our second night was Luis. We had never met such an outstanding server. Luis made sure we had all the information to order something we would enjoy. He noticed that some crema was left off of my chile relleño before I even noticed, and he immediately sent some to the table. He was friendly, and when we mentioned what an excellent job he did, he said it was because he loves people. I hope you get to meet him while you are eating there!“

It was a delight when it was made as an avocado based toast, but now is available with a delicious hummus spread. Featuring local sourdough bread that's lightly toasted topped with organic eggs that can be ordered in any style, (how they make the scrambled version so light and fluffy is beyond me) along with fresh red onion that is a complement and never intrusive. The feta cheese sprinkled on top just adds the finishing touch. My other suggestion? While this is a breakfast specialty, you might want a savory element, adding a side order of sautéed mushrooms. San Francisco Street Bar & Grill was closed to the public Thanksgiving Day 2025 but they did offer a complete Thanksgiving meal for pick up ( see attached photo of offering ). Reserving the meal over the telephone was simple.

The order was fulfilled as promised and was very delicious. The turkey cooked to perfection and the stuffing was truly amazing. While those were my favorites all food was extremely wonderful and thoughtfully packaged to go with ease. The included pumpkin pie was from 'Chocolate Maven'. Loading Zone right on Don Gaspar by front door on corner of San Francisco St and Don Gaspar.

I hadn't been to San Francisco Street Bar & Grill since it relocated once again near it's original location downtown. The food was delivered hot. As I waited for chef, owner, and staff to pack up the order - I had a nice look around. The entire restaurant was immaculate and decorated for the holiday season. The bar was organized and very clean. They had placards about describing services for Christmas parties and holiday reservations. Art displayed on the walls available for sale and tastefully done.

I know a first class operation when I see one. San Francisco Street Bar & Grill is first class all around.

I want Thanksgiving dinner from San Francisco Street Bar & Grill to be a new tradition. I hope they continue to offer this service.

(ps - after serving and sitting on stove top for nine hours, turkey was just as juicy and moist as as it was when entering the home! SO GOOD! )

“My husband and I discovered this place when found out that pretty much EVERYTHING closes at 8 in Santa Fe (unless you are looking for coffee, and those places close at 5! What is UP with that?). Anyway, clearly this is where all the cool kids hang out! Busy place, but there was plenty of room and fantastic service! Found a parking spot easily. Great diner vibe, and when I tell you the menu was extensive, I am not even joking! I wish I had been hungrier, or I would have tried more. Husband got a Wagyu burger with fries (I snuck more than a few fries… yum!), and I got a side of mashed potatoes (also yum!) and some sliced avocado. But the main event for us was the pie. Holy cow! We had no business finishing our slices… but we (almost) did! If you are hungry, or just want a bite of dessert and coffee late at night, this is the spot!“
