This place has some of the best pork steamed buns I have had. Shumai and other options on the menu and some amazing looking soups too!

“Creative dishes in a sleek space with an open kitchen. The apps sparkled. Nothing was less than outstanding: the yellowtail crude, pork belly tacos and elk carpaccio. The cocktails were top notch as well, especially the Yuzu Pisco Sour. Entres were good to, but not as outstanding as the apps. For one, the Duck Confit dish was tiny. I almost asked "Where's the duck"? We would have ordered a dessert or two, but after the dessert menu was dropped off, no one came by the take our order for a good half hour, so we ended up settling the bill and taking our leave. The restaurant was busy, but still, not a good look.“

“There is nothing we don’t love about this restaurant. The food is “real” New Mexican with some excellent special touches by the chef. The ambiance is wonderful, and the decor is authentic. Even the music is well selected and at a volume that enables pleasant conversation during the meal. The staff is helpful, responsive and friendly. A special shout out to Daniel, who is appropriately attentive and professional, always with a smile. Already looking forward to our next visit!“

“I’m not a big fan of pasta but my husband is, we found this place while walking around downtown and exploring a bit, and we decided to tried. OMG this blow up my mind, mac&cheese here is DELICIOUS, if I wanna eat pasta I’m definitely coming back here, I don’t mind driving 4-5 hrs. Me and my husband ordered a size medium container of mac&cheese and it was super cheap and they give you A LOT. We were super full. Congrats to the owner.“

“This is a mixed review. Jospeh is a formidable chef, but the restaurant itself is run down, chairs uncomfortable, noise level excessive and service sketchy. Some of our food (Duck confit pad thai and mixed mushrooms) was excellent, but the watermelon gazpacho was way too heavy on the garlic, and my husband couldn't eat it. Tuna tartare was mediocre and overpriced. Waitress couldn't stop asking how things were "TASTING", but didn't wait for an answer! Building should probably be condemned and the decor is falling apart.“

“If you are in Santa Fe you absolutely have to visit Tres Colores! We were up there with family and friends for my dad's internment in the national cemetery. There were 13 of us that showed up for lunch without calling ahead. The space is small but they didn't even bat an eye. They quickly slid tables and chairs together and seated us. Service was excellent and the food was some of the best I've ever had. The presentation was beautiful and flavor was phenomenal. I don't think I will ever be satisfied with nachos from anywhere else. It was so well balanced. I am grateful for the hospitality they provided and will always remember this experience.“

“Overall we really enjoyed the food. The service by our server and helpers was good. The only issue we had was there was 5 of us and our food came out at very different times. Two of us got our food. The 3rd person got their food about 10 minutes later. The 4th and 5th person go their food about 10 minutes after that. So some were already done eating by the time the last two people got their food. We made the best of it but that was something to be improved upon....“

“The food at La Choza is excellent. There are a ton of vegetarian options, and the green chiles and margaritas are delicious. We went to this restaurant 2 out of 3 days we were in Santa Fe, and if we were staying longer, we would go again. The server our second night was Luis. We had never met such an outstanding server. Luis made sure we had all the information to order something we would enjoy. He noticed that some crema was left off of my chile relleño before I even noticed, and he immediately sent some to the table. He was friendly, and when we mentioned what an excellent job he did, he said it was because he loves people. I hope you get to meet him while you are eating there!“

And all our food was delicious. We had the roasted beet salad and it ended up being one of my husband's favorites for the night which says a lot since he is not a fan of beets. But, if you order it just know that the beets are cold. The dressing on them was great- so it kind of made up for the beets being cold.“

“Food and cocktails were simply off the charts! Very creative French-Vietnamese cuisine. The Pho Sho cocktail was so creative and unique, and our group’s favorite dishes were the shrimp and water chestnut “cigars,” the mussels, and the Vietnamese Napoleon for dessert. “Gem restaurant just a short distance from the Santa Fe Plaza. The view from the place and the environment was special. Having come on a snowy day in April, the soups were delicious and warming. The fresh sourdough rolls were good as well.
Local artisans' work is featured on the bar area walls. Tribal clothing examples are also framed on the walls along with native pottery. It was eye candy to me.“

All of my tapas were pretty delish, and I really liked their Spanish mushroom soup, papatas bravas and and mussels with coconut milk salsa verde: everything was spot on. Their Spanish negroni cocktail was lovely, too. The gateau basque dessert kinda ruined my meal: it seems to have been sitting in the fridge for the day but it was certainly not made fresh and I could hardly taste vanilla bean in it. “Been looking for sopes (never had 'em before) and found them here. You can get 1 to 3 sopes, and I got 2 with al pastor for $8. They were much bigger sopes than I thought. 2 was the perfect amount for a full meal. They were slightly spicy, and the sauce that came with added a bit more heat.
