“I had the pleasure of attending a private event hosted at the Mellow Mug last Friday night. As a first-time visitor, I found it to be a very welcoming space, from the decor to the seating. I think I was lucky to be attending an event after hours, when I believe their stock in baked goods to be low. As it was, I had difficulty narrowing my choice down past 3 items. I can just imagine the increased difficulty it would have been first thing in the morning with a full complement of goodies. The very friendly staff helped me to narrow my choice to one and if the cookie I ate was an example of the high quality of their baked goods, then I am grateful that I live half an hour away and not around the corner. The selection of drinks offered was also amazing and I look forward to visiting again during their regular hours.“

This little cafe is cute as a button and as expensive as one too, an easy place to just sit with a good cup of coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. “This is my favorite Tim Hortons in Dartmouth! I know all the staff—they are always friendly, positive, and very attentive. Unfortunately, there’s no place to sit inside, but it’s convenient for takeout. I think they should expand this location so I can happily come here with my child during walks and enjoy a cup of coffee.

It’s also essential to add an accessibility button for people with disabilities, so it’s easier to enter with a stroller. But that’s more of a suggestion for the Tim Hortons management.

“Bar none, the best experience you will have at a coffee shop. This place puts all other Starbucks to shame, and should be the poster child for efficiency and experience. “The Pain au Chocolat is HUGE!! Recommend to share between two people. So fresh, flaky & tasty.

The almond Croissant is great too, still quite big and full of flavor.

Weekly species are fun. I last had the 'everything bagel' croissant, which has a herb & garlic cream cheese filling, with everything seasoning on the outside.

Friendly staff.

Like popping in to grab a bag of beans to take home, but street parking can be hard to find much of the time. There are only a handful of tables and it can be hard to get one on weekend mornings.

I wish they opened earlier on weekdays because 8am is too late for me to swing by on my way to work.“

“This Tom Horton's has the best customer service of any coffee shop in the city. I come here I at least 3 timed a day. I often go out of my way to come to this Tim's over other closer coffee shops. I always am glad to see Inder, Raj, Stephen, and Kamal, who go out of there way to be nice to me. If every tim hortons had staff like them I bet the corporation would double it's profits..“

“Shout out to the friendly staff and helpful owner at this Tim’s! I placed a very large order for a meeting that was to be picked up at a peek time of day. My order changed a number of times and it wasn’t a problem at all. Went to pick up the order and the owner was there to greet me, everything ready to go . Even assisted me in taking items to the meeting location! Baked goods were delicious while coffee and tea were hot. All condiments provided making the process seamless for me. Most impressive, they provided a milk alternative . Will certainly be stoping at this location again!“
