Top 5 dish I’ve ever had in my entire life, zero exaggeration. The chicken melts like butter and is complemented perfectly with the crunchy/savory potatoes below. “We had an excellent dinner at Bite. The stuffed peppers, cauliflower and halibut tacos were all delicious. There are so many more amazing entrees to try. The bartender, Benjamin was so friendly, fun and made us wonderful cocktails. Our night was made even more special by meeting Kenneth, the Chef. He was so friendly and gracious. We were able to tell him directly how amazing each of our entrees were. We highly recommend Bite for an excellent dining experience, and will definitely going back there again when we are in Tahoe.“

“This is a charming, cozy, delightful French restaurant where you can converse without any noise. The salads we had were very, very fresh and the seabass (we both ordered it) was one of the best preparations ever. It was precisely cooked so that it melted in your mouth. The service was good. We wish we could have had the special 4 course dinner, which seemed like a good price at $82. 00, but we just couldn't eat that much.“

“We ordered two cauliflower crust pizzas and a salad for pick up. The cauliflower crust was not an option on the online menu so submitted the order verbally via phone. I figured the cauliflower crust would cost more but I almost fell over when picked up the pizza and told it was $71! Really not sure why I didn't just walk out and tell them to stick the pizza. At this crazy price, I expected an exceptional pizza however, it was anything but. First of all, it was NOT cauliflower pizza crust! Second, it was cold and the crust was hard, with very little sauce. Extremely disappointing.... pass on this overpriced garbage!“

“A great find and a little off the main highway in town but worth a visit. Quiet location with patio view. Attentive staff and good variety of food and reasonable cost compared to the usual places in Incline. Strong coffee and good pie. Parking is limited.“

“Mozzarella sticks and barbecue/medium wings were perfect and cheap compared to most restaurants and the entrees were great too. We had the $14.49 gyros, $22.99 fish and chips, and the $13.99 wagyu sliders (which tasted a tiny bit overcooked) but besides that all tasted great! Nice empty dog friendly outside patio by the creek with many picnic tables and a big table for 12. Service was very fast.“

“Thai Recipe is the only Thai option in Incline Village unless you’re up for a 30-minute drive to Truckee. Some of their dishes are truly delicious. My favorite is the eggplant with beef. The Pad Thai, in my opinion, is just average.

Their weekday lunch specials are a great deal, and the ambience is warm with authentic Thai décor. The service is generally good, though the staff can be a bit stretched since they’re often very busy. While they may not always be the most attentive or friendly, the food makes up for it.

All in all, Thai Recipe does a solid job of satisfying a Thai craving while you’re at the lake.“

“Delicious food with a great atmosphere“

“We ate here for dinner this evening. Family of 4. We decided on the pre-fixed menu (Only available certain nights of the week) for the adults and the kids had the spaghetti with lots of the complimentary bread. We absolutely loved our meals! The pre-fix menu was definitely enough to fill you up. I also had the Starlight (gin cocktail) and it was so good (I’m very picky too about my cocktails). We are staying on site so it was nice to not have to drive somewhere and still get a well prepared meal. Definitely recommend eating here!
