I started with the Caesar salad and the maple-glazed bacon appetizer—both incredible. The Caesar was crisp and perfectly balanced, while the bacon was thick-cut, smoky, and sweet with just the right amount of richness to get the evening started right. For entrées, I ordered both the Australian Wagyu Flat Iron and the A5 Japanese Wagyu, and let me just say—wow. The Australian Wagyu was deeply flavorful, tender, and beautifully marbled. But the A5? Wished they still had lamb. Also, the lobster portions used to be small. Desserts are pretty but tastes okay. A little too creamy. High end, but the salads are very reasonable. “This place was on my list to visit because I love steakhouses. After reading many reviews I made a reso there to celebrate my birthday. I also noticed a certain server was always very professional I asked for him. Anyways when we arrived and seated at our table everything started to go downhill waited over 15 mins to be just acknowledged by a server and nobody came to my table. The only person I saw was the bus person with water and coming back very fast with a bread board that was nice. After speaking to a manager he apologized and had the bartender named Arie server us who did a great job. At the end of the evening I was presented a bill with nothing not even a comp. I told the manager I work in a fine dining steakhouse and if my costumer experienced what I did there would be something done on the bill. They got my money but will not see anymore.“

“I try to dine at the Redwood Bar and Grill at least once during my stay in Downtown Las Vegas. This restaurant offers good food and drinks for a reasonable price. What draws me to dine here is their signature cocktail, Blood Orange Whiskey Sour. You can go anyway in Las Vegas for a good ribeye steak but you can only get the Blood Orange Whiskey Sour Cocktail at Redwood Bar and Grill located in the California Casino Hotel. Their service is exceptional and attentive to the diner's needs. My Waiter, James knew me from my previous visits and presented me with my favorite cocktail without having to ask. What a way to start a delicious meal.! The restaurant is relaxing and casual but you have the option of dressing up for those special occasions. I highly recommend this restaurant. Ask for James to be your waiters. He'll take good care of you!“

The meal kicked off with a cup of hot bone broth that was so comforting and rich we ended up asking for another halfway through. We went with the butcher’s feast again and every cut was cooked perfectly by the staff. Somehow it didn’t feel like we ate a ton, yet we walked out absolutely stuffed and completely satisfied. Next time, though, I think we’ll wander the a la carte side of the menu and see what else Cote Steakhouse has up its sleeve.“

“Dinner the night before Gary's cataract surgery. We asked for a booth in the bar, got a half booth, that set the tone for me. Food was good, my steak was cooked perfectly rare. I think they changed the cesar dressing, it was thin and bland. I'd rate service was a tad above decent, the hostess said we had the best server. If that's the case they need to re-think it.“

“yesterday, Friday December 1st 2023 I had a procedure done so hadn't eaten since the Wednesday evening before. I wanted a steak and as far as we are concerned Outback is the best steak in town. I was groggy from anesthesia so I just wanted to get it and go home it was 3:20p.m. and we called and placed our order. an 11oz steak and 2 sides of screamed broccoli. by the time we got there we shou8have had much time to wait a d sure enough it was about done. Problem? It was a 6oz steak with 1 side of greenbeans and 1 side of broccoli with cheese. The completely remade my order. However my Husband was annoyed because I was sitting in the car very groggy from anesthesia and starving from not earing for almost 48 hours and we now had to wait yet another 20 minutes. They brought it out to our car in less than 10 minutes AND gave us both orders. as of today Saturday December 2nd I've eaten both orders they were delicious and perfectly cooked. Well done Outback!“

“I came for my mom Birthday. Our reservation was at 7:45. We got there 45 minutes early. They were able to seat us within reasonable time. Our server was Jason he was so kind the entire time he served us. I wish I could've given him a bigger tip. He asked if we had any time constraints. We were seeing Michael Jackson at 8:30 so it was perfect he asked. He gave us food recommendations. We had complimentary fries that was good. We loved the crab cake and the mac & cheese. We also had the lobster tacos. They were 8/10. I let him know we were celebrating my he brought over a cute complimentary dessert. We also met the Manager. I forgot his name but he was so kind he mad connections with us brought my mom a birthday card. If I am in vegas again I will definitely come back.
