“I usually choose the “safe” option when eating someplace I haven’t tried before. You know, Pad Thai at the Thai place, Chana Masala at the Indian place. I was actually glad to not have that option here. The regular meal is enough for one person so of COURSE I opted for the all-you-can eat option. And I did get a second helping of the Daal because it was SO good. Actually, everything was delicious with just the right amount of spice (for me) and what a treat it was to have not one, but TWO desserts! I’m usually lucky to find one dessert option at most places. I would highly recommend Thali to everyone I know, not just my fellow vegans. I’ll definitely be returning here on my future visits to Reno!“

“Getting good BBQ is very difficult, as most places consider throwing a bunch of BBQ sauce on top of boiled ribs BBQ. So it can be hard to know what you are getting, especially since I was doing take out.

However, Brothers BBQ delivered real BBQ. My wife and I are carnivore, and they accommodated as by having the sauce on the side. You can smell and taste the smokey flavor, and it was well seasoned. Ribs tender but not mushy, just right. The pulled pork was excellent. The brisket great.

I have other BBQ places while visiting Reno, and they fall short. Brothers is the best BBQ I have tried in Nevada so far, and I know where I'll be ordering from on my next trip.“

“Every time I come to (or through) Reno, stopping at Taco Shop is a MUST. Every taco here is amazing. The best, of course is the Cheeseburger taco - which I know sounds odd, but until you try it, you have no idea what you're missing. The pastor is a close second, super juicy with just a lil heat, it is perfection. But you won't find a thing on the menu that isn't incredible. I just wish it wasn't 400+ miles from my home, haha.“

“We are big fans of Ruth Chris, Reno. Birthdays and our wedding anniversary, we have steak dinners at this location. This time, we went early and requested to seated in bar area. Overall, it was we expected as we were not in the quieter area of the restaurant by choice. Only issue, our special birthday dinner. The ribeye and New York strip came in piping hot and cooked as ordered. Unfortunately, they were both tough and hard to cut. Quite a bummer for our birthday dinner.“
