“Just overall, good, classic Mexican food. The pupusas are my favorite in town and the prices are wonderfully reasonable. I find myself here about twice a month and the ladies working there are super nice and have never led me astray with their suggestions.“

“The food is always good and since it's open 24/7, that makes it even better. We had the Mongolian Beef and the Vietnamese Chicken and both were fantastic. The egg rolls and tge pot stickers were fantastic too. The Legacy Margarita is nothing to play with. It's just delicious. The staff is great, Prem was a gem. He gave good suggestions and answered every question. This restaurant is lucky to have him. If I wasn't staying at the hotel I would still eat there. I enjoy the food that much.“

“Best mexican food in Reno!! And i’ve been to a few. I’ve been in Reno for about 5 years and this is in my top three probably. Cheapest food we’ve had and the best. There’s no tables to sit it’s more if counter eating! So there’s limited space but worth it. Def coming back! They’re super kind too!“

“Wow, their food is amazing. Got the Filet Mignon and Lobster, and my guest got the Ribeye and Shrimp. Also got the fried mushrooms, blooming onion side, and loaded mashed potatoes. It was all amazing and delicious. We will definitely be back to eat here again. Also try the Aussie Jawssie if you like a good drink, it was very flavorful and gives a very nice buzz. Our waitress was beyond helpful and attentive which just made the experience even better.“

“Every time I come to (or through) Reno, stopping at Taco Shop is a MUST. Every taco here is amazing. The best, of course is the Cheeseburger taco - which I know sounds odd, but until you try it, you have no idea what you're missing. The pastor is a close second, super juicy with just a lil heat, it is perfection. But you won't find a thing on the menu that isn't incredible. I just wish it wasn't 400+ miles from my home, haha.“

“A friend treated our family of 6 to dinner at Ruth’s Chris and it was a wonderful evening. Our server Mandie was attentive all night and made sure everyone felt taken care of. The steaks were cooked perfectly — just needed a touch of salt to bring out the flavor, but the quality was there. The potatoes were a great side. Two of our kids ordered the kids’ steak meals with strawberry lemonades. Our 2-year-old loved the steak. The chocolate ice cream that came with the kids’ meals was a huge hit. The onion soup wasn’t really my favorite, but everything else more than made up for it. The ambiance was lovely — perfect for a treat like this. And the mints on the way out were a nice little touch to end the night.“

I ordered the Mango Habenero oh. my it is soooo good. and Tikki Marsala chicken pizze. I never made it to the car. Also, Jimmy at the Reno Nv store is very friendly and told me about the different sauces they make and use. jimmy Rocks!!“

It's a rarity to visit somewhere that succeeds in EVERY regard and offering, but that's exactly what Whispering Vine accomplished.

Each and every thing I ordered (Golden Hour cocktail, Truffle Tater Tots, Garden Salad, Bison Sliders) was packed with flavor and engaging consistencies. The smaller portions here actually feel by design to accentuate dishes that clearly have a lot of thought and intent put into them, and the influence of a dedicated chef here is felt.

The atmosphere is cozy, the service was speedy and attentive, and outside of dining, they offer a surplus of wine and spirits for purchase that I've never been disappointed in.“

The Mushroom Ravioli was everything people built it up to be, silky perfection. The pasta is thin and almost translucent in spots, the seams are delicate rather than thick and doughy, and the sauce is coating instead of pooling heavily. Served on a very refined looking plate, the ravioli are clearly the star, with just enough cream sauce and parsley to support them rather than cover them up.
Also would make a great appetizer for 2-4 people.
Chicken Parm was also well made with a nice crispy coating on the tender chicken then blanketed with cheese and marinara.
Very impressive. Looking forward to a return so we can continue exploring the menu.“
