“Getting good BBQ is very difficult, as most places consider throwing a bunch of BBQ sauce on top of boiled ribs BBQ. So it can be hard to know what you are getting, especially since I was doing take out.

However, Brothers BBQ delivered real BBQ. My wife and I are carnivore, and they accommodated as by having the sauce on the side. You can smell and taste the smokey flavor, and it was well seasoned. Ribs tender but not mushy, just right. The pulled pork was excellent. The brisket great.

I have other BBQ places while visiting Reno, and they fall short. Brothers is the best BBQ I have tried in Nevada so far, and I know where I'll be ordering from on my next trip.“

Overall, it was we expected as we were not in the quieter area of the restaurant by choice. Only issue, our special birthday dinner. The ribeye and New York strip came in piping hot and cooked as ordered. Unfortunately, they were both tough and hard to cut. Quite a bummer for our birthday dinner.“

Were it my restaurant, I would improve the patio (a lot) and interior dining area could use a refresh, make it a bit more inviting. Again, nothing wrong, just kind of easy not to stay. We get to go since it is so close to our house. Actually come to think of it, we never stay at a poke restaurant so perhaps to go is the norm? There is a dog friendly patio which is nice as Reno is a dog loving town.

All of that said, I am there for a poke bowl, which are excellent :)
