Perfect combination for brunch I must say. The Beef Benedict was just so tender and delicious. The Crab Cake Benedict was fresh and juicy; loved every single bit of my meal. “It is a very nice restaurant. The food is quite good and the atmosphere is really nice, although if it is really crowded it can be VERY loud. Side dishes like meatballs, garlic shrimp, roasted vegetables, etc. are consistently good, as are the salads, which are quite fresh.
I would say the main reason we have not been going there as often as we had previously is that the prices are much, much higher than before. A single glass of wine is anywhere from $16 to $20. If you get wine, small salads and even share a single pizza the cost for the meal with tax and a 20% tip will be about $93.50 for two.

This is a bit much, given that this really is just thin pizza and salad and drinks.
When they first opened and all the way up until Covid, they gave you free ceci beans as a small starter. Now to get a side of ceci (garbanzo beans) you pay $9.00.
We rarely go there anymore and really miss the restaurant, but this is not an affordable option anymore.“

“My wife and I have loved the Basil for years, for it’s delicious food, great service, and relaxing ambiance. I personally love the Basil because the food is always fresh, nutritious and great tasting. Recently we chose them to provide catering for a 35-person birthday celebration at our home. We were extremely impressed by the time and attention that Chai gave to the planning of our event. The result was a beautiful set-up of amazing food and appetizers. Our guests totally loved it! Whether it’s for a simple lunch, a romantic or family dinner, or all-out catering, we can’t recommend The Basil enough!“

I ordered a burger that came without mayo or mustard and when I asked for mustard it was an additional .50 my husband asked for blue cheese instead of ranch it was also an additional .50 we ordered a child sized apple juice which was over $5 but the worst part was the service. Our waitress was the worst. She never asked if we needed anything so many things. I took one bite of my burger and it was so nasty. The other guests were nicer than she was. At $175 for our meal our service should have been better. We will certainly pick another restaurant for our next visit to Carson City.“

“I love your burgers! I go to the South Reno location every week and get a build-your-own bison double patty. I do have some issues with your ordering website, however. For some reason, I can't order online for the South Reno location. Also even though your website has everything on the menu there is no option for ordering a double patty. I go into the restaurant and order my food to go and will continue to do so but it would be nice and convenient if these issues could be fixed on your ordering website. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated, to have chips and salsa brought out and to have dinner brought out. Highly recommended if you’re in Reno!“

First of all, the owner/operator, Dolly, is truly amazing. She might be the most hospitable and humble person I have met in a long time. “My sister and I were just in there and the staff was amazing. We ordered three pizzas, a cheesy bread, and three drinks.
There was a Karen inside that happened to be having an adult meltdown but the staff and manager handed in super well! As someone who comes from a customer service job and management, they were absolutely perfect!! The vibes were great despite everything.
I truly forgot how much I loved this pizza too.
