“I ordered the tonkatsu ramen, flavor was good but birth was really oily. Also ordered the tatsuta age, the sauce in the side was good but the fried chicken bites were disappointing, it was more the odd batter than chicken. The miso soup was the best part of the meal.“

“The dining room is beautiful , the waitstaff was helpful, and the food was authentic. Each diner has an induction burner to boil the hot pot, but they are not hot to the touch.

Parking: There is some street parking, and there are 2 town lots nearby.“

“What a great cozy local Ramen spot for Little Neck. Simple menu however everything is on point especially the authentic Japanese style Gyoza 🥟. I have nothing but praise of their food ,service and low prices for today’s standard.

“Came as part of their soft opening. Vibes are great and they have a robot that brings the food to your table (which is really cool). Ordering to-go is seamless with the Kiosk too. Service was super attentive and they even gave me a free drink while I waited :)“

“One of the best Ramen place in Long Island. I ordered take out many times. The packaging is the best I’ve ever seen. The soup is separated from the ramen to avoid soaking it too long. The use-once utensils are wrapped to keep them clean. Until recently the bag is “gift quality”, and you would not want to throw it out. I have like 10 of them that I use when I go shopping at the market!“

“It was a wonderful experience , considering it is my first time. We had to wait a few minutes to get our table for 4 but that’s okay! The employees were super nice and went out of their way to pull and extra table for us. I loved the authentic atmosphere. The lighting, decor, and the overall feeling of the restaurant was great! “It is one of the best places to get ramen on the island. The quality of their ingredients and food is amazing. You're pretty safe with anything on the menu and for what it is it's decently affordable too, you can get away with $20 a person. Service is decent but nothing crazy but for the price point of the restaurant I wasn't expecting anything crazy. The atmosphere is nice, they have a nice tapestry on the main wall and it's very lowkey and chill, just people there enjoying soup.“

“My family and I really enjoy eating here. We're never disappointed in the quality of the ramen. The ramen is reasonably priced and always fresh. I really like the attached Japanese grocery store. It's literally one stop shopping if you don't feel like cooking that night. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area

“Dined here about a couple months ago and enjoyed the delicious food and good service. There's an entrance to the restaurant from the front exterior of the mall (near the parking lot) and another entrance just a few steps inside of the Broadway Mall. Restaurant was very clean, bright, and spacious; has a very good dining atmosphere and décor. Restaurant was quiet when dined here for lunch. Waiter was attentive and courteous. We had the kinya ramen combos with takoyaki and shrimp tempura. The ramen broth was rich and a little creamy, noodles were great, pork was delicious, but the ramen egg had a very strong chemical taste, like it was possibly over-marinated. I love the complimentary prawn chips; it's a wonderful childhood nostalgia snack. Overall, the food was satisfying, delicious, and very filling.“

“Ocean Poke absolutely knocks it out of the park. For me, I pick up but you can sit down for a quick lunch as well.

The food is A1; whether you’re looking for a Poke, Ramen or rice bowl, you will not go wrong.

They have all of the options you’d normally have for a poke bowl and the bowls are nice & big. Always fresh and always super tasty.

I find myself ordering from here at least once a week. Give them a try, and you’ll see why!

“The reviews on Google are good, so we decided to give it a try. Starting from the Tom Yum Goong soup, to the crispy shrimp balls, to the crispy shell curry chicken, they all taste good. Their medium spicy is slightly spicy. The wait for the braised pork rice was a bit long. The braised pork is salty and suitable for rice. Because the pork tastes strong, a classmate and I don't like it very much. So I mixed the corn with the braised pork sauce and served it with curry chicken. The service in the store is relatively timely, and it can be seen that it is very experienced. You can tell from the menu. The store has a rich menu and has 8 tables. It is a cozy shop. We ate at noon on non-weekends, so we didn't have to wait for a table. The overall feeling is OK.“

“With so many options in the area, it would seem crazy to suggest that Kaiyo could possibly set itself apart. I mean, it's not like the menu is wildly original or anything. However, somehow, Kaiyo's fish selection finds itself absolutely on another level. Sashimi heads rejoice.“

Only thing is the chair on one side is the bench type without back so it can be little bit uncomfortable. I originally was craving some type of Korean wings I thought this place would have that but they really don't because I ended up getting a spam crispy roll thing it's like sushi only with Spam sounds gross but it's actually really good. And some wings. This food was higher quality than I thought even though it was a little expensive it's okay though because you get what you pay for and this food was banging. And I mean BANGING. LIKE WOW. My boba tea was also good I told them to not make it so sweet it was still kind of too sweet for my tasty“

“So, I have been trying to try the famous Modoo halal ramen since last ramadan, as always, it was a 30 min wait, understandable they're very busy. We get seated and order our food. There were only two servers for the whole restaurant. We had to keep asking for napkins. Our water was never refilled, and the server forgot the order of the table next to us. The food was incredible, however, which made up for the experience, but seeing as the service was struggling, I was not impressed.“

“We normally get the Poke Bowls and they're absolutely delicious. Ingredients are super fresh and you can taste it in every bite. For proteins we normally order the Ahi Tuna, Yellowtail, Spicy Tuna, Spicy Kani. The quality and freshness of the fish far surpasses the majority of sushi restaurants anywhere in the area. Some people say it's pricey but if you consider the cost of the ingredients in each bowl you'll realize that the prices are very reasonable.
My wife ordered us Poke Bowls for dinner last night when I got home from work and I couldn't thank her enough. It honestly was one of those meals that you truly enjoy and make your day.
We normally order pick-up or delivery and never had any issues with the staff when ordering. They've been very polite whenever we've called.“

“The best Asian fusion takeout I’ve had in a long, long time. We ordered delivery through DoorDash and everything arrived piping hot and fresh. Crab rangoons and scallion pancakes were crispy and flavorful. Tonkatsu and miso ramen were both incredible. Broth was packed separate so the ramen didn’t get soggy. So happy I found this place. Will definitely be my new go-to.“
