“Had a great brunch with my mom a few Sundays back. I had the shrimp and grits and my mom a breakfast specialty bowl. Also had the duck empanadas. Food and service were excellent and we had a great view of the bay as we ate and chatted. First time dining there and it was great. Bar and dining area set up With a great island vibe.“
“Great restaurant offering dining in and takeout. Dining room is clean and warm. Restroom was spotless clean. I had sopa de mariscos which was very tasty and portion was more than enough for main meal. Lady working dining room was very nice and came around several times to make sure everything is okay with my meal. I am staying few more days in the area and will stop by at least once more before I leave.“
“You know the tacos are authentic when it comes with radish and grilled onion! A little hidden gem with fire tacos. Tried some steak, carnitas, chicken, and birria tacos. Best spot in the area for tacos. Great service and it is also a little market with spots to sit down and eat. Not overpriced and definitely fresh.“
“Great idea - sweets are super fresh and natural ingredients. But for folks not 100% familiar with menu, English descriptions would be helpful. But maybe that’s the point of being authentic! Loved it - we’ll be back and I hope they remain successful!“
“I ordered some tamales de rajas and I loved them. The birria tacos were delicious. They had a lot of flavor, I recommend them. The best Mexican restaurant in Riverhead. Very delicious and authentic Mexican food.Vegetarian options: They have several options for vegetarian dishes.“

“Best burritos, fajitas around and they have mole enchiladas! Ask for the red sauce. It’s something special. The huaraches are fantastic as well. We go to Mexico every year and these burritos and enchiladas totally stack up to the best we’ve had abroad. Love it.“
“Stopped here for dinner before a show at the Suffolk Theater last weekend. My husband wanted to see if we could find something else, and I for once already knew what I wanted from here. Long story short, we ordered and waited for our food started up a conversation with 2 other couples also going to the show. We saw their food come out and we got excited, everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. One man running the restaurant. Bravo Sir !! we were pleasantly surprised and impressed. “I came here because a reviewer said they had a separate vegan menu. Sadly they didn't. They did have a vegetable burrito. So I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised. Rice and beans with Pico de gallo, mushrooms, onions, peppers and guacamole. Cute convenience store deli with a kitchen in the back. Friendly and accommodating staff. My girlfriend had a steak burrito and like it.“
“We went tonight prior to a show at WHBPAC, and it was outstanding. We both had the Red White and Blue Tacos, and they were excellent, and loaded with shrimp. Others had a shrimp burrito and taco salad that were the same. Good value for the quality of food and service that you get too. Looking forward to returning.“

“I just took a chance on this place last week since being new to the area and omg...this has to be one of the best Mexican food spots in the whole island. 100% and I'm from out west. I've been here several times in just the past week and have tried their burritos, tacos, and this one in the photo is their 3 Piece Mixed Los Tacos ! They give such big proportions in anything you get it's SO worth the price I share it with my bf!“
“Awesome food here. Make sure you try their churros, they’re huge and delicious! It does get pretty busy and the parking lot is shared with the ice cream place next door. It’s an indoor/outdoor experience like no other!Vegetarian options: Can be made vegetarian“
“Picked up food tonight. The guy in the front of the house did it all. Took phone order, sat people, waited tables, tended bar. Cashed people by out. This guy didn't miss a beat. Where ever you got this guy, get some more people like him. Also food was good.“
