“I like that there's something for everyone. I enjoy drinking, listening to music and eating. Some of my friends like to play pool, others like the slot machines and others like to watch the game. I've visited a few times - the manager Ray is friendly and the bartenders are sweet and skilled. I'm mostly a wine drinker but l often order what I see them make for others because they look good. Lol. The drinks also taste good! The food is also good. They seem to have a new menu and the additions are reasonably priced and tasty. I usually order the burgers or chicken wings with fries. But tonight I ordered the whiting fish, shrimp and mac and cheese platter. Yummy.“

“This is a cool spot and often has a great crowd. You can catch the football games on the projector. Please be warned, they force a 20% gratuity on your bill even just sitting at the bar. Maybe they do this because people don't enjoy tipping for extremely slow service which you will probably encounter. (The bartender with the glasses is pretty good though) On top of that, they nickel and dime you with a 2.5% credit card surcharge. I have never seen that at a bar before.“

“came for trivia night on a Tuesday. Bar staff/the atmosphere was very friendly and chill. Trivia however was painstakingly slow and I could barely hear the host who was not even reading the questions clearly but like rambling about any context she could think of. Every question was insanely niche. Been to tons of trivia nights in nyc and this one was easily the most bizarre. Leaving 5 stars since I don’t want to fault the bar but definitely not coming back on a Tuesday night.“

“This is such a cool spot for a get together with friends in Ridgewood. We went after dinner from Rolos and our bartender provided great explanations and recommendations for our drinks. The drinks were made well, but most importantly this bar has a very cool ambiance, and very much similar to a lounge experience.

“the vibe at IYKYK was nice... the food delish... drinks on point... varied music including latin beats which to my taste was awesome plus they have hookah (cash only but worth it)... honestly prices were pretty affordable and the service was really nice... our waitress Tiffany was attentive even though her section was busy when we first got there...our food and drinks didn't take long... “The owner is an incredibly good guy. My friend lost her jacket and when he saw me searching around he checked in with me to help search. He was very helpful, really good guy. He took her number down in case it got returned and gave us shots as consolation. Lo and behold he found the jacket. Also the dj was really great that night. the only thing it was hot as hell in there even on a winter night but overall great vibes. Thank you so much. Also great drinks. Passion fruit vodka shots were delicious and my passion martini came with a whole half passion fruit which was rad.“

Lou’s is very much a neighborhood bar, and it gets packed. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff handles the crowds like pros, fast, attentive, and efficient no matter how busy it gets. You can tell this isn’t their first rodeo.

Drinks are cheap (always a plus), but pro tip: it’s cash only. Luckily, they’ve got an ATM inside with just a small service fee.

Extra shoutout to their regular, Delaney, who jumped in to challenge the twins to a game of billiards super fun to watch! Just note there’s only one pool table, so expect a wait. In the meantime, there’s a dart board to keep things moving, and the blasting music keeps the energy high!

So happy it’s just around the corner from me ☺️. The bartenders are amazing, Jessica is such a sweetheart and makes the absolute best drinks. The owner is super cool and really sets the tone for the great vibes here.
The cook always puts out delicious finger foods which are perfect for snacking while drinking. I especially love when they do karaoke nights and bring in live bands, it’s always a fun time. And when DJ Sound Nice plays there, he always has the place rocking with all types of music.
