“While passing through for a short visit to the UAlbany campus, we researched some healthy and affordable lunch options nearby. We are so glad we found Simone's! This place is so cute on the outside, and fast, affordable, and delicious on the inside! The portions were huge, the food was fresh, and the prices were competitive with chains like Chipotle or Panera. 5/5!“

“This was our first time here and it was delicious. we are so happy to have a new favorite Thai food place just across the river! the pineapple fried rice with cashews was excellent and the pad thai was absolutely delicious! “If I lived in the area, I would be hanging out here constantly! This is a welcoming, airy, beautiful place! Plenty of room for kids up front, plus an XXXL table which I imagine draws many folks for writing and drawing workshops! As you make your way to the food counter, you see many unique local artworks for sale and enjoyment. The large back part of the room is designed as a wonderful space for music and poetry readings, with a small stage, great natural and interior lighting and comfortable seats. We missed the Monday morning music, but we just needed a quick snack and respite at the time. Many have reported on the great food, which we will return for! We loved our coffee and our peaceful time there. Cafe' Joust is open on Mondays, as is the amazing Magpie Books which is just down the street.“

“Not my first review of this fabulous restaurant and it won’t be my last! Pico de Gallo was my first choice for my birthday dinner and it never disappoints! Perfect margarita and guacamole with house made crisp chips. Dinner was vegetable enchiladas filled with broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and cauliflower floret. This dish was topped with melted cheese, fresh cotillo cheese and house made tomatillo sauce. The sauce was sweet with a bit of a kick! All served by accommodating, friendly staff. “Stopped in for breakfast and it hit the spot. Classic diner atmosphere, nothing fancy, but that's part of the charm. The eggs were cooked exactly right and the home fries were crispy on the outside, soft inside, real comfort food. Service was quick and genuinely friendly without feeling rushed. Coffee kept getting refilled without even having to ask. Prices were more than fair for the portion sizes.“

“They catered my wedding 12 years ago, and when I worked in Hudson, my favorite order was Singapore Mei Fun and Pork Buns. I moved away, and I miss them.

The sausage rolls and the burger especially stood out, and everyone at the table seemed to genuinely enjoy their meals.

It is a little on the pricey side, but honestly that’s pretty typical for dining out these days. Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, it felt worth it. I’d definitely come back again.“

“I was there Saturday evening with my son. He had chicken tenders and french fries. I had a cheeseburger. That was amazing food I mean totally amazing. I hope that the people of that town will be in that restaurant once or twice a week to enjoy some really good food. The service was prompt. They were extremely busy, but they did their best and I was very amazed. I hope to return there and I am glad that I went there with my son and definitely want to go back.“
