“Pizza, deli... ah what the heck.. let me try Jamaican.. I love spicy food.. walked into rock and come in. Seemed closed but staff was preping. Jerk chicken or curry roti?? Roti it is.. and I am glad I did.. warm ,tender, juicy and delicious. Don't forget a kola champange. I will be back..FYI didn't waste any food all I'm my tummy“

“I’ve just had my third meal at Tony Mac’s in as many days, and again I was not disappointed!??? For lunch I had the curry goat which comes well-seasoned with rice and peas, steamed veggies and plantain. To drink I had a number 5 Sea Moss drink called “The Mac Body Heat” to wake up the body made of - Sea Moss, wheat germ, oats, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, roots and something called tigerbone! ???The waitress noted to me on the way out “Look after your wife tonight, the next day you might be getting a welcome visitor from the Creator!Great meal and the medium was mighty big for the money -$25 for the meal and drink! Highly recommended for great food, Garnett Silk music while you wait and the baby maker shake!!!!?????????Honey I’m home!????“

“This is a great place! Food is fantastic, really all we had was flavorful and had heat but not so much that it was over powering. People are so friendly. Drinks are made with real fruit. Prices are very reasonable. Best for take out bc only one table. Definitely try this place, a true gem.“

Their patties have an amazing crust and they’re filled with ample beef, or whatever filling of your choice; not with a lot of floured-filler. Their jerk chicken is also wonderful; and made outdoors on the grill unlike some of these restaurants here in Queens.“

“Was in the mood for a beef patty this restaurant was the first choice google recommended. I must say the aroma from the restaurant alone will have you intoxicated. I was greeted by the staff that’s was very kind and helpful. The beef patty was flaky and very tasty the spices complemented the meat perfectly. “Buff Patty has excellent food across the board. I have ordered food at both their location in Elmont and in Brooklyn and their food is consistant in both flavor and quality - excellent. So far I have had their Jerked Chicken, Curried Goat, Oxtail, and beef patties and everything was flavorful, tender and authentic. I highly reccomend Buff Patty to anyone who likes or has not tried Jamaican cuisine.“

“Customer service was great over the phone. Amazing food. I ordered delivery (I didn’t do Uber eats, just called because I wanted the restaurant to receive 100% of the profit) and it came quick. I received a medium oxtail with macaroni and cheese. I would’ve taken a photo but it looked too good not to take a bite. I wish I got more oxtail because it was delicious!! The Mac and cheese was amazing — perfectly cheesy. I can’t wait to come back for more of their food options like the stew meat or even the banana bread (and tell everyone I know obviously)!

Edit: I got more food the next day! The stew chicken was as delicious as I hoped it would be alongside that AMAZING curry goat. The curry goat tasted like heaven — it tastes fresh off the island! The curry chicken was also very good and I got a great portion of everything. The standout had to be the beef patty which was the BEST Jamaican beef patty I’ve ever had. Now I got to buy one with every order!! I thought the bulla had a beautiful sweet spice to it. Perfect for any meal. Everyone I knew wanted a bite of the curry spiced bread as well. My sister said she’s going to order here everyday if she can ?. Overall, everything was perfect and I am glad there’s more yummy places to eat in this neighbourhood.

“My first time at Kingston Grill and I’d it weren’t for the professional, well mannered lovely lady at the counter it very well could have been my last. However, I will definitely return as in addition to the wonderful customer service experienced on Saturday July 22 at around 4pm. The food was delicious!!! I ordered the oxtail meal as well as sweet chili chicken wings. Awesome!!“

It’s all about the flavor, and most restaurants just cook to sale, but Merrick J*** cook to please. They’re Potato pudding is good too.. not too sweet, but just right.

“If you are looking for some AUTHENTIC flavorful Jamaican food. This is the SPOT! I ordered some oxtails, jerk chicken, cabbage, plantains with rice and peas. I was not disappointed. The oxtail was flavorful and falling off the bone. I also loved the jerk sauce they had on the chicken. Most importantly, the portion is hefty! The food reminded me of home. “If you're in queens and want just an explosion of deliciousness in your own home? Then this is the place to pick it up from. It's my go-to spot in Jamaica for cheat days. They have the best oxtails and vegetable rice around. The rice is seriously addictive. They also have a slamming hot sauce. You have to ask for the real hot hot sauce tho. Because they used to give me another hot sauce before a regular told me of this one. If you like perfectly spiced, fall off the bone, absolutely delicious oxtails. If you also like them with magic rice that you can eat buckets of till you explode in delicious rice goodness, then this is the place to get it from. They do not have any seating. This is a takeout-only spot. They also load up the containers. No skimping here. The staff is always nice as well. Keep up the good work guys.“

Now, when I got home and tasted the bouillon it felt like I was back home at Moms…OMG!! The legumes was the same … just like Moms. They give very nice portions and lots of meat. “I purchased a medium-sized curry chicken with rice and peas, along with a slice of bread pudding, all washed down with a bottle of mango fruit juice. The total cost was a reasonable £18. Surprisingly, although I have eaten here many times before, the curry chicken did not suit my taste this time. I couldn’t quite pinpoint the issue, but it seemed a bit too greasy for my palate.

The staff member who took my order was polite and friendly. Finding a parking spot can be challenging, though I was able to find a space on the other side of the road.“

“This was my very first time eating Jamaican food, I’ve always heard stories and myths about how delicious and sensual Jamaican food was. I came here late at night with my boys and u walked in and i felt at home, at peace. I ordered medium jerk chicken platter with rice and the sweet lady working the store packed my medium size box to the BRIM, I was shaking with excitement. I pay for the meal (extremely good price btw) and leave, I get faded with my boys and I’m trembling just thinking about the Jamaican food sitting in that plastic bag, I finally can’t wait any longer, I dig in and … oh… my… goodness… I had never experienced such a euphoric, earth shattering experience… a tear ran down my leg… the food was just out of this world, I will never forget that, I will never forget the kind and gentle Jamaican women who made that night complete, 6/5 stars if I could Fn
