“We have been to Hudson Table twice - once for a chef competition and we liked it so much we booked the whole space for a party. It was such an incredible experience to be up front with the chefs, asking questions, watching them work. It was also great to hear about their thought process and to taste as they cooked their dishes! I felt like we were on a TV show! The food was also incredible! Bites that you will never eat again but were created just for that specific event. The staff was engaging and very fun as well. “Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

“The review score is misleading as it takes into account low reviews from people who thought this was a cafe and not a wholesale/retail coffee roaster. I've been buying their coffee for years now. Fantastic coffee and the price can't be beat!!! You get a full pound, not 10 or 12oz and you can get any flavor imaginable. They have dozens of flavors of your into that. I've tried a bunch with only a rare few that I didn't care for. I now but 5 lb bags each time as I've been brewing lots more coffee!!! Terrific coffee. I've been using my farberware perc pot that makes a fantastic pot of coffee and makes it super hot!!!!“

“I really love this place! I mean, we don’t come here often, but tasting on ice cream served here once again made me remember how well it’s appreciated and respected. For one, the flavors are excellent. My brother was shocked to have 2 enormous balls of ice cream on such a small cone, but when tasting the brownie ice cream left him with a reaction similar to the one in ratatouille where the midget chef eats ratatouille and grasps the table cloth. Unfortunately, I could not take a photo of his ice cream but I did for my pistachio. I would love to come here more often.“

“I just had the Starbucks experience. I came to downtown Scarsdale at 6 AM to work. Nothing was open, including the building I was going to work in. I do not drink coffee and had never bought anything at a Starbucks in my lifetime. So they suggest a hot chocolate, was upsold to the largest cup, they put a dab of Whip Cream and Chocolate syrup on it. The barista was a very Upbeat person And provided constant upbeat greetings to every last person who came in. I was thinking of my niece Jessica who was a barista and now makes part of her living doing IMPROV. Ten seconds from the center of the waiting room (north side of the mezzanine via automatic doors), lies a family-run, old fashioned coffee and breakfast joint that serves up a hearty egg sandwich (however you like it) along with good coffee and a host of other choices. This Dunkin’ is super convenient, especially being right near Harbor Hill School. I’ve stopped in a few times when I’m in the area—either for a quick coffee or something on the go.

The location is easy to find, but the parking lot can get tight, especially during the morning rush. You might have to wait a bit for a spot, which can be frustrating if you’re in a hurry.

Inside, the store is on the smaller side. It’s really set up more for quick grabs than for hanging out, but it’s always been clean when I’ve gone in. Service has been hit or miss depending on the day—some staff are friendly and fast, while other times the energy feels a little low and the orders might not come out quite right.

Food and drinks are standard Dunkin’. Most of the time my coffee is spot on, and the breakfast sandwiches are decent. I’ve had a couple off days with stale donuts or a drink made wrong, but nothing major. Just depends on who’s working and how busy it is.
