“Where do I start, Portrush is one of a kind. The baristas are not only knowledgable but also truly hospitable and very welcoming. Since they have opened I’ve seen this true cafe and espresso bar put smiles on 100s of faces. If I mention the establishment it creates curiosity and if already known, I always hear “They are awesome, Que rico, or another positive accolade.” The perfect place to learn about the process of coffee and the love of community. I recently learned the name is in homage to Portrush, Ireland—another testament of the unique diversity of the Village of Port Chester.

“This place hit a bunch of the same things I look for in a coffee shop.

(1) the cold brew is excellent! They didn’t have it on their written menu but they do have it! It’s delicious.

(2) The shop is so relaxing and even though I did take away I felt like staying a bit to enjoy the ambiance.

(3) The staff is friendly, fast, and super pleasant to interact with.

I will be coming back for some more cold brew!“

“I went here on a brunch date & highly recommend! The music they had playing in the background was great, as they had something for everyone! The chefs (and sous chefs) were all wonderful and extremely creative. The staff members were all so tentative. Most importantly, the entire experience was SO MUCH FUN and each dish was delicious and presented beautifully!!! We can’t wait to come back soon! “Experienced a wonderful afternoon with friends, playing a new game for all of us. Staff was helpful with rules, all game components were in great condition, even upgraded with necessary overlays for the particular game (Terraforming Mars). Great refreshment options available, even happened to have one of my favorite summer beers. The cafe is very well kept, tables and general space is very clean. The games are well organized with color coded labels for game type. Incredible selection of games for playing as well as purchase, including a sale table! I only wish we lived closer. “The review score is misleading as it takes into account low reviews from people who thought this was a cafe and not a wholesale/retail coffee roaster. I've been buying their coffee for years now. Fantastic coffee and the price can't be beat!!! You get a full pound, not 10 or 12oz and you can get any flavor imaginable. They have dozens of flavors of your into that. I've tried a bunch with only a rare few that I didn't care for. I now but 5 lb bags each time as I've been brewing lots more coffee!!! Terrific coffee. I've been using my farberware perc pot that makes a fantastic pot of coffee and makes it super hot!!!!“

They certainly need to have condiments on display like sugar honey napkins straws lemon may be it's starbucks . Even some low profile deli stores have them. And this is highly priced neighborhood , you would expect it.“

“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

“The aroma of tea grabs you immediately as you open the door, quaint and cozy with well curated display of tea pots etc. I visited with a specific tea in mind, would have loved to be educated more on the shop offerings, did I know about similar items to the one that brought me in...a bit more conversation maybe. Not a downside just an observation coming from a sales background. I enjoy explaining the goods I sell and engaging with clients and having them get interested beyond the initial interest.“

“I really love this place! I mean, we don’t come here often, but tasting on ice cream served here once again made me remember how well it’s appreciated and respected. For one, the flavors are excellent. My brother was shocked to have 2 enormous balls of ice cream on such a small cone, but when tasting the brownie ice cream left him with a reaction similar to the one in ratatouille where the midget chef eats ratatouille and grasps the table cloth. Unfortunately, I could not take a photo of his ice cream but I did for my pistachio. I would love to come here more often.“

“I can not say enough positive things about this place. The girl was so friendly and helpful. I originally went to pickup a togoodtogo order and ended up placing a second order because everything just looked so good. Everything I got in the togoodtogo order was amazing and it was a nice variety it had a bag of goldfish as an extra treat which my kids enjoyed. There was even a handwritten note thanking me for my order which was so sweet and I felt appreciated. The bubble teas were fresh and flavorful and a great value for the price. “Visited for the first time on Sunday when it wasn’t too busy. I purchased a cinnamon bun iced oat latte in a snowman to go cup. I asked for it to be less sweet since those types of drinks are usually way too sweet for my liking. It was delicious and just the right sweetness for me. I didn’t try any pastries or other food items, but I’d like to go back to try them.
It was around $12 for the drink in the snowman cup, before tip. Seemed reasonable.
I got it to go, but there are a few small tables inside to sit at.
I would go back to try some other drinks, as well as the juice and smoothies.“

Ten seconds from the center of the waiting room (north side of the mezzanine via automatic doors), lies a family-run, old fashioned coffee and breakfast joint that serves up a hearty egg sandwich (however you like it) along with good coffee and a host of other choices. Three cheers to the staff who heartily welcomed this newbie. Their blackboard says they’ve been there for 26 years. It’s easy to see why. Enjoy!“

“I do love this place, but they got very expensive. I can’t believe the prices that I’m looking at right now and they only accept cash. The last time I was there, I placed an order for an omelette with mushrooms and cheese. The omelette came back burnt and they use canned mushrooms, not fresh mushrooms. I was really disappointed.“

“My second favorite location (sorry, nothing will compare to the OG location in Farmingdale) and it's not cause it's the closest to my house but they're just so friendly.

The drinks are so good, Boba always fresh and the jelly top notch. I've had way too much bubble tea in my time and nothing has really hit the quality of YAAAS. They are insanely quick with getting the drinks made and I'm talking 5+ drinks made in under 5 minutes and they all taste fresh! They have really found a way to fast track the process without compromising taste and as a girl on the go, I am so appreciative.

Aside from just the best quality drinks, they really put customer service at the top of the list. The way they take care of you, greet you the second you walk in, and always with a smile. What you'd expect from a customer facing establishment but not always the case. Absolutely love YAAAS, the flavor and service just can't be beat.“

“Few restaurants are consistently better on every visit, Capers is one. We went with another couple for dinner. Wine was Ken Wright Pinot Noir-excellent. Appetizers were Squid and Tricolore Salad. Salad was very good, didn't try the Squid, but it smelled incredible. Entrees were Chicken Martini, Mussels, Short Ribs and Yellowfin tuna.- all very good. Service is great.“
