“I came here on the hunt for something different for breakfast and stumbled across this spot after seeing a video about their BBQ breakfast options. Glad I did!

The vibe inside is cool and relaxed with a bit of charm. It’s not a big space but there is some seating. Service was solid, the staff was friendly, patient, and gave me great recommendations for a first timer.

I went with two picks:
• Brisket Egg & Cheese — house smoked brisket, scrambled eggs, American cheese on Texas toast. Super buttery and cheesy. My only critique is the brisket was sliced a little too thin, which made it tougher to bite through in a sandwich.
• Breakfast Burrito — house smoked pulled pork, scrambled eggs, American cheese, pico de gallo wrapped in a tortilla. This one was the winner for me. Smoky, spicy, and loaded with flavor.

Parking is the biggest challenge. It’s on a tight, busy street with not much available nearby.

Overall though, the food was delicious and definitely worth the trip. I’ll be back to try the Bacon Egg & Cheese with house smoked crispy bacon chicharron and their crispy tots.”

“My family visited from New Mexico for vacation and decided to stop by a pizza place. We happened to locate Sinapi’s and I am glad we did. It’s the best pizza we have ever had. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back.”

“If it’s Monday, then it’s Tomato Rice soup day at The Bedford Diner. Homemade and absolutely delicious. A hearty rice loaded soup even great on a beautiful spring day. All the dishes at the diner are great. Staff is pleasant and prices are reasonable”

“The bagels here are some of the best I've ever had! My favorite is the blueberry. The service is great and they are happy to toast and cut your bagel however you like. They will wrap up your items nicely and offer you extra bags if you want, it's always such a good experience! They also have a variety of cream cheeses; lox, strawberry, plain, etc.

The pastries and baked goods are hit or miss for me. The linzer cookies are great but the cakes aren't my favorite. I suppose they have something for everyone.

There's always seating available and there's lots of parking.”

Fresh, generous, creative sandwiches, cool specials and the secret weapon is top notch pizza. The cha cha cha breakfast burrito might just be the morning winner too. “We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.”

“We order a bunch of cookies. They were prefect for what we needed and they were extremely accommodating. During our party the folks eating the cookies were in aww of the cookies and wanted to know where we order them from. I told them Bella’s bake shop in Mount Kisco. We have also purchased bread from them at a farmers market and it was delicious! Will continue to purchase products from them. Staff are extremely nice!”

“If you ever want to impress your friends & family with your good taste, take them here! Ever since they opened, we've continually been returning to this awesome restaurant. Going with friends and/or family who haven't been before, makes the experience even more enjoyable. Straight-away, newcomers are impressed as they review the eclectic menu. We tell them, honestly - we've never had anything on the menu that we didn't LOVE. It was not unusual that, on this week's visit, our party of six couldn't make menu selections 'cause everything sounded so good. No problem, we simply "ordered for the table"! Ready for this - we ordered: 2 orders of Pulled Pork Sliders, 2 orders of Brie Stuffed Pretzels, Asador Corn, Watermelon Salad, 2 orders of Smoked Ribs, Shrimp & Grits, and Chinese Chicken Salad. OH MY, what a Scrumptious Feast! Not a morsel was left over! When the friendly, attentive waiter suggested dessert, some said, "I can't eat another thing!", and "oh, maybe tomorrow". I suggested, perhaps some very delicious iced cappuccinos, or an outrageous dessert drink. Everyone ordered something. I then said to our party, I think we need some accompaniments. My wife and I got the waiter on the side, explained we had a Birthday Gal at the table, and ordered an assorted dessert board for the table. Moments later, the board was presented with a glowing birthday sparkler and a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday". Immediately, the signature Carrot Cake, Mexican Chocolate Covered Churros, Bourbon Glazed Donuts, Cheese Cake, and Vanilla Gelato began to be devoured. Nearby patrons could be heard saying, "We'll have what they're having!" It was another memorable, Great Time at Southern Table. Bravo to the Chef and Staff!”

“Love it! Delightful people, their service and interactions were uncommonly genuine, and such a pleasant environment. Ordered two lobster rolls, one of each kind, and they were both very good. The salad was wonderful! Love the dressing they use! The location is within easy reach of the HPN airport — a plus for my travel habits — and the area is a very pleasant one to either drive or walk around in. Street parking can be a little tight, but welcome to the northeast. Definitely worth the return!”
