“My family and I went to Truck for the second time with some of our relatives, and we loved it just as much as the first visit. The food was amazing, so filling but still so delicious! I ordered three tacos: fish, pork, and chicken. Even though I was full after the first one, they were so good that I couldn’t stop and ended up finishing all three! Therefore, I’d recommend not ordering too much at once. For dessert, we pretty much shared everything on the menu, and I loved every single one! There was even a chocolate dessert—which I usually don’t like—and I ended up loving it too. The service was excellent; our waitress was super friendly, greeted us warmly, and kept checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything! The atmosphere made it all even better: casual, lively, and perfect for a fun family dinner.“

“I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v“

“We used to host a number of events here many years ago, but stopped due to covid. Finally was able to go back for another networking event. I cannot say enough about how great this place is still. Everything was amazing. From the front of the house Staff, waiters and bartenders. I have yet to be disappointed in the food or drinks. “Barley House is a really nice clean pub. You know when you walk into a place and you smile 😊and feel like you're going to enjoy the visit? The Barely House does that. The staff was super welcoming. The space has plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. Plus a walk that folds away so your in / out. I ordered the Barley House burger with homemade potato 🥔 chips. So good!!! My husband ordered a cheese burger and loved it also. They have an area outside set up for the soccer ⚽ games with TVS and everything. There is plenty of free parking. I will be back! My burger bun was hard as a rock, the bacon was hard and cold, my kids' broccoli was swimming in some weird oil like liquid, inedible, the chicken Mac& Cheese bowl tasted warm and seemed microwabable.....and we literally had to send back the wine carafe, it was BITTER!!! “This place is a gem, a real throwback to when dining out was a pleasure. Been here several times for lunch and dinner. Warmly welcomed each time. The service and the setting and the food are all top-notch. Great fish always, and many traditional Italian dishes to choose from. Good sides, too. “My girlfriends and I was just at Moderne Barn last night. It was my first time eating here. I have to say the overall environment was very friendly, welcoming, beautiful. By the way I love the chandeliers. We sat upstairs - very nice area. Plenty of people eating here. The food and drinks I may add is very delicious. I had salmon and white wine and sangria. Have to say no complaints. The staff very very nice and friendly. Highly highly recommend. Thank you Moderne Barn for a lovely ladies night out!“

“Went to the restaurant for the first time since it was refurbished. Very nice!! Made dinner reservations for two and were seated promptly. Our server, Sandra, was exceptional. Our drink order was taken in a timely fashion. Both cocktails were delicious. We ordered the Ricotta Gnodi for our appetizer and it was very tasty. For the main course we each ordered the Ora King Salmon. I thought mine was slightly undercooked. As a side, we shared the truffle fries...hefty portion and were crisp and tasty. For desert we shared the Affogato. It was creamy and refreshing. All in all, a great night out. A little pricey, but based on the service, menu variety, and the food quality, we will definitely be back.“

“Bia Kitchen in Chappaqua is truly a gem.

The service was incredible, especially from our bartender, Erica. She was so personable and really made the whole experience fun. At the same time, she was super attentive and always made sure we had what we needed. She made amazing recommendations and you can tell she really loves what she does.

The food and cocktails were outstanding. I am still dreaming about the potato soup. And a huge shoutout to the pastry chef because the desserts were easily some of the best I have ever tasted.

While the chicken sandwich was satisfactory, personal preference might favor chicken breast over thighs. “We finally tried the famous Mt. Kisco Diner, and wow, what an extensive menu! The place was packed, with plenty of parking, although the lot was completely full. Inside, it’s very spacious and big.
For starters, my son got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake, and my gosh, the picture says it all—he was so happy! He also had the Mac Attack with fries and loved it.
My wife had the Ruben sandwich/pastrami , and it was delicious—honestly better than mine. I kept it simple with an omelet and home fries. Nothing extraordinary, but still good.
For dessert, I had the lava cake, and my wife had the carrot cake. Both were very good choices.
Overall, the food was especially great for my wife and son, the menu has tons of options, and the place has a fun, busy atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

“We go to the location in Queensbury, New York for the gluten free sandwiches very often. We drive from 45 minutes away just to get the sandwiches so I think that says a lot! Nice staff, great store hours (open late). The area really needed a 24 hour store. It’s doing a lot for the community!“
