“Okay... so I've been trying to find the best afghan food and it's been a struggle. I also don't have much to compare it to but at the same time I know what good food is and let me tell you.... THIS IS IT. It's cool because it's casual vibes. They give everything to you in a to go box so that's interesting, although they have seating for you. I got the beef bargh, chicken tikka and the lamb chops with my party. And omg the only thing they are missing are mantoos! But I am willing to drive from Astoria for this place so that says it all. It was SO SO good. I took my leftovers home and immediately devoured it and followed my meal with a food coma. Certainly want to gate keep this place but they deserve the recognition.“

“Just tried this place out tonight. Ordered a mix shawarma, a chicken shawarma and falafel. I didn't expect much from this place, since it was dead and was 1 lady working in the whole place. I was so surprised, the food was so fresh and the shawarma was burrito size. The taste was really good, I only wish I ask for some hot sauce on the side. The falafel was very crispy. Falafel to me are usually dry as he'll, but they give you a super thick white sauce (like cream cheese consistency). Which made the falafel tasted very moist. I didn't take any pics of the food, because I wasn't expecting much. Going back tomorrow to try the chicken biryani, since they only sell that on sat & sun.“

The service is great. The ambience isn’t much but had a comfortable feel to it. I’ve never tried the Hakka region Chinese food and it was good. The restaurant is BYOB.“
“Really loved the food besides the lamb smelled a bit not strong. But we totally enjoyed it. I would recommend people to actually come to this location specifically and eat it. Because I had food from shah’s at queens location and that didn’t seem this tasty. The only problem I faced was with this hispanic server lady in this location who was hesitant to give us food. She was only putting less than half tablespoon of each item we were asking to give us for the platter. So we asked her to give more quantity. Later she said to me she should charge us more because we asked for one spoon of the food item. Otherwise, the man with the beard he was very good with his service that’s why I am giving three stars for him. He heated up the kofta we asked for. He properly served us the food. I think he is the manager and I wish him luck. I hope to see more people visiting this location for the amazing food.“
“Can't go wrong with crown fried chicken. I love my Popeyes chicken but crown is definitely special. I don't know what the season that chicken with, but it's very good and flavorful. Fried to perfection and seasoned with love. I just buy chicken wings here and if you're looking for large amounts you have to call it in. They don't have large amounts just sitting around since they cook everything together and it's mixed chicken. Whenever I'm in the area, me and my fiancé stop in to grab some chicken to take home. This place will always be a staple for the neighborhood chicken spot you want a grab some chicken that has that home feeling taste like your parents cooking.“

I want to start off by thanking the staff so being so welcoming and generous with each and every need of ours, you guys did an amazing job providing the EXTRAS when we needed them. Especially with the sauces! A lot of establishments are stingy with sauces and they do not offer the service you guys did tonight. Moving on with the food. I ordered their Chicken Tikka Kebab which came with 2 skewers of chicken kebabs. Juicy, tender and flavorful chicken with a bed of brown rice and onions. The white sauce really compliments the dish and is definitely essential. So so yummy! My parents ordered the Fish Tikka which was also so delicious and plentiful! They enjoyed it so much! My family visiting got the chicken tikka kebab but with the Kabuli rice, extra charge for the Kabuli rice but so so so worth it! Everything was so delicious and not too pricey! I drove there and then realized it’s a gas station lol ohhhh but can looks be deceiving i walked in and was already negatively set but i said screw it im here. This was one of the best beef gyro sandwiche and fries I've had in a very long time. Honestly delicious meat was tender fries crispy and the 2 sauces they put on fire… Definitely will recommend it to anyone the gyro wasn’t huge it was on the smaller side but flavor made up for that. Insane how some small hidden gas station shop can great such an amazing gyro definitely check it out i got the gyro was with lettuce tomato cabbage and pickles sound strange for a gyro but it just works… Will 100% be going back……$15 dollars well spent honestly..“

“I recently discovered this restaurant with a few friends and we absolutely love it. We came here for iftar and everything was delicious. There were so many items to choose from including butter chicken, bhindi, rice and many appetizers. The chai is also very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. “One of the best “go-to” lunch/dinner spots in town. Their Halal menu is on point- you can’t go wrong with one of their bowl with pita on the side or in the dish! They also happen to have one of the best hamburgers in town. Value wise, it is the best (in my opinion). In a world where things are as expensive as ever and “eating out” is getting harder & harder to justify, European Republic in Oceanside does their best to counter with good food , at good prices. “Delicious food. The chicken is tender and nicely marinated. The rice by itself (without the white sauce) is a little dry, but delicious. Asking for extra rice on your platter is free.I recommend the chicken platter or the combo platter.The falafel pieces are puck-shaped. They are very crunchy on the outside, and are quite good by themselves without needing to add sauces.The dessert kheer is also quite tasty, and the Baklava is flaky and sweet, with plenty of nuts.Yasir (one of the employees) is very friendly and remembers repeat customers.“
