“Gabe's Grille is the restaurant and bar at the Willowcreek Golf Club in Big Flats. Gabe's is located on the second floor of the main building, adjacent to the golf simulator in the next room. The place is cozy with seating at the bar, TV, and several tables in the dining area and an outside patio area too. I stopped by Gabe's Grille for takeout recently and it was open on a Sunday in the middle of winter. The winter menu food offerings included burgers, chicken wraps, BLT wrap, Philly cheesesteak, club sandwich, breaded chicken sandwich, and tuna melt, all served with potato chips, $6-$9 plus tax. They also have snacks including popcorn, bagged chips, candy cold bottled drinks, and alcoholic libations. I ordered a Tuna Melt ($6.48 with tax) which was made and grilled to order in the adjacent kitchen. I enjoyed my takeout lunch near the mall. The tuna melt was not fancy, which had a very soft tuna mixture with gooey melted cheese between two slices of grilled buttered bread (I chose wheat). The pile of rigged salted potato chips were very standard and crispy. Overall, I give this place 3.5 stars, rounding up since the prices seem fair and it seems like a good place to chill out for food and drinks after playing a round of golf.“

“The owner takes the time to remember faces and always greets u with a smile and a hello when he can, the staff are quick, nice and the food is amazing. I always get the super roast beef and a hot ham and cheese. Those are my goto subs. The sub roll is what makes the subs so good. They must be handmade. Highly recommend..O and I like the milkshakes too“

“We had reservations at 7pm. We arrived couple of minutes early and were seated right away. The waitress was friendly, helpful, attentive but not overly so. We enjoyed the food and will definitely return. One of new favorite restaurants in the area.“

“This is the BEST sub shop, hands down. The atmosphere is fantastic and the employees actually care about their customers. They take the time to get to know them, as soon as you walk in as a regular, they know your order. They ask about your family and have really good conversation while you're there. To top it off they make incredible food. The subs are packed full of fresh ingredients and you most definitely get more than your money's worth. “The home-made ice cream was very good and I was impressed that they had 2 vegan flavors available (Peanut Butter and Pumpkin). Pumpkin in January! It was good and the homemade waffle cones are impressive. “Staff are very helpful, informative about their products, are very accommodating with substitutions for diet, very friendly customer service, and great portions sizes, would recommend to any local trying to find a good lunch place that isn't fast food chains“

“This was a lovely little local spot that we found while on a road trip. It was just what the doctor ordered for a lunch on a cold day.Soup & Sandwich combos for a decent price. I got the creamy potato soup with a Chicken Caesar Salad wrap. My boyfriend got the Ruben sandwich with a side of cole slaw. The ruben was hot in beautiful toasted rye bread, and "good" cold slaw according to my boyfriend that loves Cole slaw. The service was friendly and attentive, and we were in and out in way less than an hour.“

“Stopped in for breakfast. The place is awesome! I sat down at the counter and set my coffee cup down and the server asked right away if I wanted coffee in it. I ordered a Western Omelet which was huge and delicious. It is the quintessential diner.“

“Nice and homey. Food reminds me of going to grandma's house, just absolutely full of comfort and warmth. Donna & Staff are extremely pleasant and kind. I 100% recommend coming and checking them out. “My boyfriend and I stopped here driving through on a weekend trip. The service, food, and atmosphere were great. I had the blue cheeseburger, and he had the steakhouse burger. Both were terrific. Big burgers!! The onion rings were my favorite. Oh, and the homemade ranch dressing was fantastic. Highly recommend! ?“

“The dinner was lovely. We started with brie and papas rellenas. Entree was pecan crusted pork Tenderloin with asparagus and mashed potatoes, which was delicious. Ended with creme Brulee. Server Mattie was delightful. Overall a great experience and will be back.“

“Several locals said the Chinese food was good. They Lied, the Chinese is MID at best. I’m sure some of the other food is decent, but the chicken in the soup and salad tasted like a tasteless gummy worm. Aye and that red berry dressing is trash dawg.“

“Came here for my one year anniversary with my girlfriend. Had a wonderful experience, with plenty of excellent dishes, including the bacon wrapped scallops, crab rangoon, stir fry with beef tips, and a good Delmonico steak. All courses were good, though my girlfriend did think the French Onion soup was a little on the weaker side. Dinner was rounded off with some excellent dessert, a cheesecake slice with caramel sauce, and peanut butter pie. Highly recommend, the restaurant has an intimate ambiance with small seating area. Parking is on the street only, and with limited seating a reservation is recommended on the weekend.Kid-friendliness: Draw on paper table coverings.“

“The food was amazing. The server sarah was beyond amazing. She made sure my sons food was out so he could eat first. Then she made an amazing titos strawberry lemonade. HIGHLY recommend asking for her to make your drinks and if possible your server as well.“

“We had dinner at the Quincy Exchange and the whole experience was wonderful. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation and were able to have cocktails before being seated. The Wellington and a margarita - both drinks were excellent. One of the things we liked about the bar, and also the dining area, is that you weren't packed in like sardines. You had ample space between the chairs at the bar and between tables when dining. Once we were seated, our waitress was attentive without being overbearing. It's really nice to have a relaxed dinner while at the same time, feel like you're being taken care of. On to the food - in short, it was excellent. My wife had the malfanelle pasta with lamb and I had the garganelli pasta with shrimp. Seasoned and cooked perfectly and the serving sizes were ideal. However, the deserts were the absolute highlight of the evening. We had the coconut panna cotta and the tahini chocolate brownie sundae. I think my wife had a smile on her face the entire time she was eating dessert. I would highly recommend the Quincy Exchange if you are looking for a relaxed environment, excellent service and outstanding food.“

“I think it's Corning's best kept secret. I've been coming here since I was pretty much born 34 years ago. Nothings changed in those 34 years and nothing needs to. It's perfect the way it is with great food and even better home town hospitality.“

“I'd go as gar to say it's one of the best fish frys in the area. Everything was very good, and portion size is generous. As a group we all had the fish frys, while some had the house salad, potato salad, mac & cheese, and frnch frys. All were very good. Will definately be back again.“

“The Cuban was as good as reviews said! Meat was a bit cold but the taste was delicious. Fried Brussel sprouts…OMG! Good! Everyone said their food was good. Service was passable. Went to the front for seating bartender saw me but ignored me. When the rest of my party arrived decided if we wanted to eat we would have to go back to the bar area. Had to go to the bar to ask for napkins and salt and pepper. “A definite 10. Delicious Perry's ice cream options. Large portions. Cheap prices. Park, order-at-window, and sit at picnic table option. Drive thru option. Friendly workers. Quick service. Pretty much everything you could want.We got a double scoop to split on a waffle cone. Ginormous portion for $5. Very worth it. Very worth returning here. The picture of our scoop was after about 10 minutes of eating and it's less than half way done.“

“Great local bar. Good beer selection. Just in case some people are worried about the location in Elmira, there is security at the door. We saw nothing to be nervous about. My wife and I had tried a few of the local beers and ended with a couple pints of Guinness straight out of the Tap!“

“Food was amazing. Burger was good, if you get everything on it. I enjoy the veggies. I savagely ate mine before getting a photo. My husband got his plain so it wasn't as yummy as mine. However, we also got a cheese steak which was absolutely delicious!!! The kids got the sampler and enjoyed it. They are big on food like us so it wasn't their favorite but they also loved the cheese steak. I am certainly coming back for another burger and cheese steak! 1/4 Burger was definitely enough. Service was nice. Thankfully, she was very patient with us, as my kids decided to be difficult with their cheese steaks.“

“really? this is listed as a restaurant? does rosar's even serve food? i was unaware. anyways, i love this place. awful, hilarious tunes on the jukebox, pool, video games and darts, and the cheapest beers in horseheads. the men's bathroom door says bears. did i mention this place is located next to a gun shop? i love horseheads. really busy on breaks from school (the only time i'm there, really) but kinda dead otherwise.“

“The waitress was friendly and the restaurant had character but there are some needed updates that need to be made such as the table tops. It was Friday night fish fry and we had the broiled fish which was not fresh at all and the stuffed fish which was mediocre at best. The cole slaw and bread was very good. “Food was excellent, atmosphere was relaxing, and service was impeccable. There is a large selection of items to choose from, as well as some entree substitutions if you're just not in the mood for a burger. Gregory was a blast of a host. He was very informative and gave us some terrific suggestions when we just couldn't decide. A bit of a warning though: If you get the mud slide pie, expect to need some help. It's enormous! We would definitely revisit if in the area.Vegetarian options: There is a section of the menu for vegetarian choices. At the time of this posting, there are about 7-9 entree options“

“I personally love coming here. It's a little ways from home but when I'm out in Corning I always go here. Always get good service, always get delicious food, very clean, can't say enough about this place. On a Wednesday night or Saturday night they have a small pasta Buffet for about 20 bucks all you can eat. I recommend you check it out. Highly doubt you'll be disappointed. ? Love going to Sorges.“

“I stop here everytime I travel into the area. Have always wanted to try your mac n cheese varieties, but haven't wanted it as an entire meal. It would be really cool if you had mac n cheese as a side or as an appetizer, or to go extreme give people an option to do a "flight" of mac n cheese like some breweries do.“

Unfortunately, I've had a few experiences, particularly with the smoked salmon Benedict and slow service that I can't give Rye 5 stars.I wish I could because it has a great menu and liquor selection but I just feel they could use 1 more wait staff. I've seen the owner present a few time and he is nice and helpful. “Food is always good (certainly upscaled from a typical sports bar) and even earned the praise of my MiL who'se not easily impressed. Service is a strong point even at busy times. They do a lot with limited space, and you'll find a wait at peak times even though their location is a little stroll from Market Street. The biggest challenge is finding parking. It's always available if you're willing to walk a block, so don't let that stop you from trying this place.Parking: It's rare to find a free space in the small lot and parking on the street can be tight, but a block in either direction should be free.“

The service, speed and quality of food is always great regardless of the amount of people. I love this place my family comes to visit and they have to go there every time.“

“I had the reuben egg rolls and boneless garbage wings. Both were excellent. I met a friend there, who had a piece of delicious chocolate pie . Gabby was our waitress and she did an awesome job!Parking: It is a dirt/gravel parking lot. It could be lit up better in the evening.“

“A very nice little place with very good food. I've been there twice now and had a good experience both times. I highly recommend it for fine dining.Parking: No parking lot, but a decent amount of street parking is available, but you may have to walk 200-500 feet depending on how busy they, and other local businesses are. 1st time I parked right out front, 2nd time a 250 walk.“

“Excellent food and service, nice rustic, yet CLEAN place. We were a bit wary at first because the outside looked sort of run down. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the interior. We got the fish fry, which came with a very generous portion of haddock and I opted for the side of Mac and cheese, which was homemade and absolutely delicious! The two meals came with a roll and side of coleslaw as well. The haddock was fried nice and crisp, with a thin layer of breading. The bill only came to $25 and change! We will only be in town for work for the next few weeks, bit we will DEFINITELY visit this establishment again!“
