“I have to go to doctor's appointment once a month in Carmel. Well, I stop here when we do ( thank goodness I am limited to once a month) I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have yet to be disappointed. My goodness! The tarts are amazing! The apple strudel is amazing! The fruit tastes like summer! Do you have a raspberry bush or a greenhouse somewhere?! And the cheese/sausage bread is to DIE FOR! I worked in a bakery, and my mother made sausage bread (italian heritage) but this place is the best!! Thank goodness she doesn't know how to use the computer or her 91 year old self would slap me if she read this! This place is great! Oh, and the wonderful people behind the counter are so NICE! AND HELPFUL AND TAKE THEIR TIME ANSWERING MY ANNOYING QUESTIONS! Hate the doctor necessity, love the aftermath! LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE“

“Food is delicious, service is a bit slow but it’s worth the wait I promise. Lots of yummy opinions and prices are good. They also have a buffet style service if you are in a hurry on you want something quick to go. Bread is yummy, they have conchas and a lot of sweet bread that you can get. Love that this is local and I can have a yummy cheap meal anytime.“

“We celebrated our daughter and nephew's communion yesterday. We got 2 cakes from The Bakers Daughter. We HIGHLY recommend this baker. Not only did she do exactly what we envisioned, but the flavors of the cakes were DELICIOUS! My daughter's cake was vanilla pound cake with cannoli filling, and my nephew's cake was lemon pound cake with chocolate ganache. On another note, she was able to cater to multiple food allergies. Both these cakes were egg free, nut free and sesame free. Thank you again to Stefanie and her crew at The Baker's Daughter. We will definitely be using you again!“

“Walked in at closing time, asked to buy the cake in display case and counter girls in a rush to leave so cake sits another night in display. What a shame!! 2 minutes would have had it a new home.👎👎👎“
“Had a birthday cake done for my daughter’s birthday and Luigi (baker) made it to Perfection. Red Velvet cake. Delicious and gorgeous looking cake. He also made me chocolate covered strawberries and never tasted such delicious chocolate before. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.“

“We have two birthdays during the already busy holiday season. Amazing cakes from Nicole once again. My daughter knew exactly what she wanted for her sweet 16 cake and Nicole was able to deliver it exactly to her specifications. And my son was turning 21 so we wanted something special and fun. “Caffeine and a geekiness, a marriage made a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away. Super friendly staff, outstanding coffee, yummy baked goods and some awesome and rare sci fi treasures displayed around the cafe. The Eagle 1 from Space 1999 is museum worthy Sláinte!!!“

“They no longer appear to be doing their food menu, which is a real bummer! I’m sure certain business decisions justify their choice. The food did differentiate them a bit, and while it is still a bit beyond “just another coffee shop” the loss of food still stings in a town with already limited quick bite casual options.“

“This is a very wonderful cafe + community space to have breakfast and lunch from! It is very charming and family owned. You can also work out of here from out of your laptop and the walls are decorated with beautiful art by local artists. ?? ☕️ ? ? ? ?️“

“I’ve been going here since late last year, and I haven’t had anything they’ve made that I didn’t love. If I had to choose, the Paris-Brest pastries are ridiculously good and the carrot cake is the best one I’ve ever had, hands down.“
