“It is one of the best and most upscale wineries on Long Island. The wine selection is very large with some great roses, whites and reds. They also have a very delicious sake cider. The service was also great and the view was beautiful. We are red wine lovers and loved their Cabernet and Franc. Their signature rose is also delicious.“

“Best wines overall I’ve had on the North Fork. Service in the tasting room was exemplary. Kind of a rustic European vibe. Their Gewurtztraminer was excellent as was the Gruner Veltliner, a real surprise varietal for Long Island. It’s not really one woman either. The winemaker’s daughter has a distillery on the property. I tried her bourbon, which was a bit young, but destined to be a real treat with more ageing. Wonderful experience and highly recommended.“

“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“

“Restaurant was packed as is usual at this time of the year.However the food,and service was not compromised. Fried artichokes were excellent,as was the arugula pizza,and egg plant pizza as well!
However for me as a gluten free Celiac customer, i needed gluten free pasta.Well they not only had it but it was the best I had ever had!!! It was the shrimp fra diavalo over ziti.Perfect heat to a firm pasta cooked perfectly in a separate pot as not to cross contaminate,now that's customer service !
If you want a terrific meal without stupid Hampton prices, come to this terrific local restaurant ,you won't be disappointed!“

“Absolutely the real thing just like I remember fish shacks on Long Island years ago! This was my first time to Commander Cody’s and I had an amazing experience. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, and I had 2 very large pieces! The pistachio/ricotta cake was incredible. The prices are so reasonable too!The chef and the owner were both very sweet guys.

“It was a most enjoyable experience; the farmer's salad is among the best I've ever had, and the entree, chicken schnitzel, was tasty. I was surprised to see the place was packed on a Tuesday in the off-season, which made it noisier than I would like, since I value quiet acoustics more than food because it makes conversation easier. But heh, people were obviously there because they like the place. The new owner has done an excellent job transforming a restaurant that has been around for ages.“

“Driving around after setting up a display at a golf course we came across this little gem in Sag Harbour. I had three tacos; chicken, chorizo and beef. All were delicious. The portions were spot on. My colleague had a burrito and quesadilla. Both look amazing. Fresh tasting great quality ingredients. My pictures aren’t the best as we could wait to eat! Must try take away if you’re near.“

“I just want t say I was there yesterday with our group knights on Bikes we had 17 bikes and 25 people and the waitress was fantastic she gave us unbelievable service with a great attitude doing it. To our pleasant surprise we had a wonderful meal with excellent wine pairings suggested by our server, we loved our lunch so much we decided on having dinner at their NYC location the next evening, needless to say it was magnificent! “East End Clambake catered my daughter’s and my mother’s joint birthday party in my backyard in July. I cannot describe how amazing and wonderful they were every step of the way. We ended up renting chairs and tables as well as went with the The East End Lobster Bake package, with fried chicken (the only catered who offered this as an addition to lobster!) Patricia coordinated everything and really made it so very easy. I can’t remember the two women who came to the event along with the chef but they really out themselves, our 60 guests were truly delighted and the food was incredible. No one left hungry, that is for sure!!!! They really know how to run a smooth operation and all of the staff were so lovely to work with. They are absolutely the best!!!!“
