“Such a fun experience! Axe throwing was more challenging than I expected but thankfully their staff helped make corrections so we were able to get the hang of it! The staff is super friendly and very encouraging and attentive. It was a wonderful time trying something new and totally out of our element. I would definitely recommend this location! =) have fun!“

“Just exceptional. In a city of amazing bars, some of the best in the world, we can’t think of one we’ve enjoyed more. Explore every cocktail on the menu. They’re delicious, and also perfectly prepared and all photo worthy. But don’t miss the best part: the vermouths. The best selection of vermouths that we know of in America. Many of them have everything an excellent cocktail has to offer right in themselves with a little ice. And if you have the good luck to have Diego manning the bar, just ask him what you should have.
A marvelous experience not to be missed. 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan.“

“We had an excellent experience with the staff here.
We came after dinner at neighboring Fulgrance on their recommendation, because of El Pingüino’s fortified wine list.
It was a lovely experience - nice calm place to enjoy a thoughtful menu.
Don’t miss the basque cheesecake with any staff recommendation on beverage. Did we need to eat that after a full dinner? No. Was it worth it? Yes.“

“The first time I heard about this place was when I saw their huge sign while driving. My friends and I decided to give it a try and enjoy the food. Since they were running late (or maybe I just arrived too early!), I ended up sitting at the bar and ordered a happy hour margarita with chamoy and Tajín on the rim. For $20, it included chips and guac or salsa—not bad at all. The margarita was delicious, and the chips were fresh.
Once my friends arrived, we ordered a few dishes to share: the enchiladas, tacos a la barbacoa, and tres leches cake. Everything was good, though the food itself wasn’t something we’d rave about, but we definitely enjoyed the overall vibe. I do want to mention that the staff was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable.“

“After having such a wonderful experience at the new Baba Cool location in Fort Greene, I was excited to stop by Baba on Withers! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. It always feels extra special to connect with the staff local to your neighborhood. These are the people that make it what it is! I’m looking forward to going back soon :)“

“Eavesdrop’s been one of my neighborhood go-tos ever since it opened up a couple years ago. They just do everything right: consistently great classic and original cocktails, unfussy light bites that are better than they need to be (order the olives, for instance, and you’ll get a big plate full of Castelvetranos in a puddle of warm olive oil with good bread), and acoustics that allow you to appreciate the well-curated music and your conversation without yelling. What really makes it are the staff, who are unfailingly kind. Vern, one of the hosts, does such a great job of making guests feel welcome even on packed weekend nights.“

“Amazing. Stay away so there's more room for us.
If you do sneak in 😂 you will find friendly people serving OUTSTANDING food (small, careful menu) in a house that Jazz built.
Jazz folks this is the real deal. Everyone else should just come and enjoy the magic of live music.
Pro tip: come early for a seat for the 1st set or arrive late to get a seat by the 2nd set (most likely).
Vegetarian options: Small menu so check beforehand. My 2 vegetarians were fine.
Parking: If you circle they will appear
Kid-friendliness: If they like jazz (and can be quiet during the music) no problem!“

“Went on a whim and I’m glad I did. They have an amazing selection of German and American micro brewed beer plus some awesome happy hour prices. If you live in the area or commonly come to Greenpoint, make Torst a stop on your travels. Friendly staff and reasonable prices make this a must visit for any beer and wine aficionado in your life. You won’t regret it!“

“They don’t really have food so no rating on that. Great local vibey place. Lots of seating indoor and out, even if it’s a small place. Great DJs and music. People actually dance even though it’s not a club. Security is nice. More of a grab a drink with friends place and listen to music than cocktail bar or club. My go to place on Fulton. Swing by the halal cart after in front of the Franklin station.“

“Maison Premiere provides outstanding service and features a thoughtfully curated, albeit limited, menu. The wine selection, though not entirely to my liking, pairs beautifully with the seafood dishes. The ambiance is exceptional, and the staff delivers prompt and attentive service. However, despite her warm and welcoming demeanor, the hostess appeared to struggle in distinguishing between patrons seeking a full dining experience and those dropping by for a quick drink.“

“Excellent food. I usually don’t trust fusion food but they do it right. Authenticity in Korean flavors with western interpretations.
Can’t speak so much for drinks since I don’t drink, but vibes are great, food is amazing - also love how there is a specific sequence to the food. It’s very carefully curated.“

“Kent Ale House in Brooklyn 🤌 The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a great selection of beers (Kent Pilsner 🔥) and a menu that hits the spot for casual dining. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the incredible service. Siobhan is an absolute star—attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure you have a fantastic experience. She went above and beyond to ensure our group was well taken care of, even during a busy bar with England playing rugby. If you’re looking for a spot with great vibes and top-notch service, Kent Ale House is the place to go. Siobhan 🫶“

“Where else can you get TWO drinks for less than $15 in NYC?! I’ll wait!!!
Keybar has the best happy hour specials!!! The drinks are 2 for 1 and range from $9-15. You can also get a free round of shots if you come 7 days before or after your birthday.
There’s a free Photo Booth that sends the pictures directly to your phone. The decor and ambience is aesthetic yet very chill.
Def a lowkey vibe!!!
They also have tacos, quesadillas, and pizza.
Get the passionfruit martini or shots and thank me later!!!!“

“Unfortunately I was a little too late to try their food, but one look around the room, it seemed like everyone who had food was enjoying it. I hear the wings are on the spicier side so this is a fair warning. Also, one question on my mind was, ‘do they have natural wine?’ I did find out that they in fact do carry natural wine and it is delicious! Overall happy with my trip to Doublé !“

“Good strong drinks for a reasonable price, the games are all kinda meh but the atmosphere is pretty interesting and it’s a chill vibe and the live music is good. There is even an outside area that is dope. The food is hotdogs which I don’t eat so I can’t speak to that. 5 stars if the games were better.“

“I never knew there was such a cool bar on Roosevelt Ave of all places! I live further east of here in Queens so now I do not have to go all the way to Astoria. The owner Lee is super cool and so are the other patrons. I ended up chatting with strangers and we all had a great time“

“Went here for a social event. It was okay, but the bar was a bit cramped for the group.
You can get a little pizza if you buy a drink at the bar. So, that’s neat. I don’t drink, so I didn’t get to experience that, but if it’s your thing, could be a nice spot to visit.“

“Filthy Diamond is truly a one of a kind space. The community cultivated by the fantastic staff is incredibly welcoming and inspiring. From live music, to killer DJ sets, to chess nights, to the arcade games in the back, or even just chilling in truly the coziest backroom ever (literally feels like my living room), there’s something for everyone. I’ve also met some of the most interesting people here—the hang is an extremely heady brew of artists, musicians, DJs, writers, poets, theater people, industry connoisseurs, literally any creative profession you can imagine. I feel so grateful and honored to count myself as part of this community, it genuinely feels like home—safe, joyful, inclusive, and so nourishing.“

“Great concept. Drinks were on point, bartender was on top of things. Quick serve cocktails with complexity that would take 10x the time to build from scratch . Small quaint space, an expansion is in smart move in the future.“

“The best cocktail bar in crown heights. Possibly best bar in Brooklyn in general. In the evening the old fashioned lights are set low, the candles are out, and jazz is playing. Live, on some nights. The drinks are expertly crafted and served.
You can come alone, in a group, or on a date. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. If you’re at the bar, you will find yourself in conversation with strangers next to you.
This is a very special place, and while I want to review Tooker Alley and give praise, I selfishly hope it stays one of the great secret spots in the city.“

“I love this place! I’ve told all my friends about it. The music is 10/10. Drinks are 10/10. Service 10/10. I had such a GREAT time. My man and I literally danced all night. The manager gave us shots because it was our birthday. So sweet!
Food is 4/10. They don’t have much on the food menu so I recommend eating beforehand and enjoying their cocktails cause they’re bomb!
The vibe is so open & free people just want to have a good time! And the aesthetic is so cute. Can’t wait to visit again!“

“This is such a cute restaurant that's conveniently located right by the tram and subway at Roosevelt Island. The decor is cozy with whimsical items that reminds you of a fictional granny's house. I've been here twice, once for drinks and brunch. The service was friendly both times, this seems to be a regular spot for people who live on the island. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're visiting Roosevelt Island.“

“I went here with a group of friends. It is a small intimate bar. They occasionally have a kitchen that serves homemade dishes. Lots of inexpensive bottles of icy cold beers, as well as mixed drinks. There is a pool table and a dart board, music from cd's. I had fun but I knew a lot of people in the bar. Very friendly staff. They also have "guest bartender night". A frequent patron acts like the bartender for the evening.“
