“Had an excellent dinner this evening at C & R. Started with a red wine sangria for me and a Heineken for my companion. We both ordered from the "specials" list.....broiled salmon for me, filet mignon for him. We both had salad with a tasty raspberry vinaigrette, companion also had a cup of Manhattan clam chowder. His steak was cooked perfectly to his specification (charred on the outside, medium on the inside.....not easy to do with a steak on the small side but the chef managed to pull it off). It was accompanied by french fries. I was presented with 2 beautiful pieces of salmon filet. There was no sauce or glaze on it but it didn't really need any. It was moist and delicious. And the vegetable medley served with it was also delicious. And it was all available at a very reasonable price.“

“Nice restaurant in Amsterdam, NY. Food was good. I had Tacos and family had quinoa salad, chicken and fries. We loved the dinner. The price was reasonable. It was evening of september so some bugs attracted to light in outside sitting but was not much of a bother. Overall nice place to have a dinner in the area.“

“Found this place by accident on our adventures yesterday for the 4th . Loved every minute I was there . Atmosphere is welcoming and laid back. The bartender was solo and running the bar, as well as cooking and serving all the food. She handled it so well and we got our drinks and food quickly. “Food was good but not cheap. Cute li'l brunette waited on us - friendly & efficient. Wife & I figured we'd split Mexican pizza, & an order of jumbo wings. Wrong! We barely finished our halves of pizza! Delicious! Had wings next day - some big boys, & good Thai sauce! So food was good, cold beverages, purdee smile - just didn't expect $70 bill for 2 items & 2 drinks each, for local roadside bar.

The woman cooking and doing everything on her own with a little help from her regulars doing some coffee fills, was the owner, I believe (i should have asked her name) .. Anyway this place far surpassed what we have been looking for. I felt like I was at a friend's place ♥️ mom got an omelet and it looked delicious, she said it was. I just had 2 eggs over medium with crispy bacon and hash browns... the eggs were perfect, cant say enough! Oh and the prices! “I went to Raindancer. Amazing appetizer. The salad came if they took other people’s left over salad & just threw it on a plate. Sloppy presentation. Waitress apologized saying she had to prepare the salad. No one was working in the kitchen. Then the 12 oz Prime Rib was full of fat. Manager just cut the fat off & told us she prepared another Prime rib. We were charged full price for the meal, that took long. The had was small and barely noticed it was stuffed. Disappointed. The food & service usually is great. Don’t known what happened.“
