“A hidden gem in the east village. Food is experimental and delicious to eat. The Hawaiian Asian fusion food is very unique and rare to find in the city. The gluten-free fried chicken is a must go for anyone who has dietary restrictions. It is crispy, juicy and delicious.Szechuan Bolognese is quite an interesting combination of Chinese and Italian cuisine.Heritage pork chop is a very delicious too.Not to mention the dessert!! The brûlée Hawaiian pineapple and the Chocolate Haupia Sundae are too good to miss!I love the intimate environment. Small space without too much pretentious. The service is superb. You can tell the staff generally care about if their customers have a good time there. Very spontaneous, very friendly and very observable. Will come back again!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free fried chicken“
“Good place but can be a bit of a wait for walk in ordering as they have a lot of online order or pick up orders. I always love to get their chili crisp shrimp, tossed in the amazing chili oil. With my half salad and half rice(white or brown), and loads of toppings. They have cilantro topping, seaweed, and many more. The lobster meat and the imitation crab salad toppings are my favs. The sauces were good i love the aioli. The chewy marshmallow bars are also great.“
“Delish and so so fresh! Got the goma shoyu tuna which is just basic rice with tuna, avocado garlic chips and seaweed salad but it was soooo good. The fish is so fresh and the seaweed salad was extremely flavorful. The place is very quaint and cozy with a few barstools and the guy at the front is helpful with any questions. Simple and good place definitely will come back again!!“
“If you are looking for place with good vibe and great food, check this one out! Poke bowl & acaii bowl both are fresh, very fulfilling, taste ????? lots of options and worth every pennyService was very quick yet everything is always put beautifully on my plate. I’ve tried dine in, take out, delivery, everytime piki poke always hit it!I’ve seen family with kids, fdny, gym people and senior here. No doubt about their freshness and qualityStaffs are very friendly and very attentive. This place is probably the most underrated in Astoria. Definitely a hidden gem“
“pre-made poke was much better as bowl is wider than custom pick 3, which is narrow bowl.As others suggested, with such bowl, all the sauces remain on top and you end up eating rice on tbe bottom without the sauce. ?Bubble tea is so so, don't have hugh expectations as this is not a Boba place.Vegetarian options: tofu“
“Was nearby the other day and decided to check this place out for dinner, and I'm glad I did! There are plenty of seats inside with a well lit and clean interior. You grab a menu and marker at the entrance, mark what you want, and hand it to the person at the counter. The food will be ready almost immediately. I got the ray grilled salmon bowl - it was delicious. Definitely a fast and easy casual dine-in experience. There's also a restroom for customers only, and you'll need their key. Overall would recommend!“
“We have been going here for years. Now it is part of our week we have dinner there. The staff which has been so loyal and consistent are lovely, the owner is lovely, so happy this place and these people are right in walking distance to my house. Now the food, it is so tasty and fresh, just yum. <3“
“Hawaii Poke impressed me with its authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. Their variety of toppings allows for unique combinations, and the service has always been fast and friendly. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality and originality in their dishes!Dietary restrictions: I can always customize my dish to accommodate my dietary restrictions, which is crucial for me. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was friendly. I'll definitely be back!“
“?????I can't get enough of this poke spot! Seriously, it's become my go-to whenever I'm in need of a satisfying and healthy meal. The bowls are incredibly filling, and I love how they strike that perfect balance between nutritious and delicious. But what really sets this place apart is the vibe and the staff. Sho, who works there, is an absolute gem. Always with a smile, always welcoming, and can we talk about his music taste? It's like he has a direct line to my playlist! Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the spicy tuna and spicy salmon. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of fishiness, but here, they nail it. Not too fishy at all, just the perfect amount of flavor and kick. I'm seriously craving it just thinking about it.Count me in for another visit soon! ?“
“Great spot for lunch during work - had a long line when I went but it moved really fast! Lots of options to choose from and food was very fresh. They give you good portions and can get busy during lunch hour, so keep that in mind. Was really cute inside as well and the workers were friendly.“
“I frequent this establishment at least once a week. The food is fresh and great tasting. I customize my choices all the time and everyone is very pleasant. You definitely won’t be hungry afterwards it’s very fulfilling.Vegetarian options: There’s one bowl that’s vegan or you customize your own bowl. Plenty of options“
“As a lover of Hawaiian cuisine and a native Samoan, I am always on the lookout for authentic flavors that remind me of the islands especially in this season of harsh winter weather. Ui’i Shrimp is a delightful find that does just that. I ordered the combo, spicy shrimp and traditional Hawaiian poke, and spam musubi. Everything tasted great! The owner was very hospitable and attentive, truly in line with the spirit of Aloha. Whether you are a native of the Pacific Islands or someone who appreciates good food, Ui’i Shrimp Restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!“
“The staff here are the friendliest i’ve met, specially this guy named rj, the amount of food you get is really worth the money, very good value.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options if yoy have allergies or on a certain dietKid-friendliness: Good food options for kids as well“
“As many times as I've eaten here over the years and forgot to post my original poke bowl place. Which, of course, I still eat their. Always fresh ingredients and good people working there. This is always my go-to poke bowl and will never change.Mixed greens, brown rice, 3 orders of chicken, cucumbers, kale, crab salad, seaweed, tomatoes, mushrooms, spicy mayo, sesame seed, cilantro and garlic chips.Sometimes avocado, every now and then. Try one. Trust me, you will like it.“
“These bowls are so amazing! When I first moved to New York I was looking for healthy and affordable food options and this quickly became my go-to. The teriyaki salmon is my favorite protein but to be honest everything has a very good taste. The only thing I don't like is that it really isn't my favorite place to sit down and eat.“
“Had a very good bowl at this spot today. I was walking around and dropped in. I ordered the large bowl and added two scoops. For protein I had the spicy shrimp, spicy crab, ahi, salmon and spicy pork ( which was great). Good options for veggies and sauces. Definitely worth a shot if you need something good to go.“
“I love Kona. It’s my favorite place to get work done during the day, and I’m grateful they allow laptops. The coffee is so good- they have a macadamia nut and coconut flavor shot that you can add to coffee or lattes. It’s so good. Food is great too. Staff always friendly and smiling. Love it here!“
“Iced Hawaiian Latte was as delicious as expected. I absolutely loved this spot during my NYC trip--aesthetic cafe, nice baristas and tasty coffee. I also grabbed a box of their coffee beans to bring back as a souvenir and they made absolutely scrumptious cups of coffee back home.“
“The food was great, but not for the price of nearly 20 dollars for a small poke bowl. I could make this at home and still have enough money to feed a village with this price… I think that it was also discomforting to have clear glass walls looking in at either Herald Sq. or the Urban Outfitters this restaurant is annexed to. Though the design is pretty, it’s not very practical to have to stare at pedestrians and clothing shoppers while trying to enjoy my food. Regardless pretty good.“
“Friendly staff (none of the NY "snark"), insanely-good food (the BBQ Pork is to die for), and a nice clear quiet place to eat it if you want. My wife and I will be going back for sure!Vegetarian options: Most of the options are vegetarian. But carnivores need not fret - lots of good choices for us as well.Dietary restrictions: Lots of control over exactly what ends up in the bowl. My wife is vegetarian and gluten free and sensitive to many foods. Had no trouble making it all work.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a sidewalk-level entrance with not ramp or stairs.“
“Came here for the first time with my partner, it was his first time trying Poké and he was extremely satisfied with the overall experience here! Their store manager Steven was extremely professional and friendly. We shared the spicy salmon poke and spam musubi; the salmon was fresh and it was delicious! Not to mention the atmosphere here is airy and clean, they provide plenty of seats for customers. Definitely going to come back again and try their other options! They also provide Lee Kum Kee soy sauce; it’s my favorite brand of sauce from my partner’s motherland haha“
“I had low expectations but came away pretty happy with this local poke spot. There's not much to look in terms of ambiance as it's mostly a takeout spot but its clean albeit spartan in its design. In terms of food, the fish quality here was pretty good - fresher than I expected and the topping were all fresh. I did enjoy their large variety of sauces (honey wasabi was good). Price here is really affordable for poke. The staff was friendly and things were made with the quickness. All in all, not a bad choice and a welcome addition to Great Neck.“
“Just had a day trip to New Jersey with family last weekend. Glad to know there are plenty of decent restaurants and cafés along the Pallisade Avenue in Englewood. Poke Crew is very clean and bright. I got my bowls very quickly and they looked all colorful. You can build your own bowls if the menu doesnt not fit your flavors. Highly recommended for those pursuing efficiency and tasty meals.*Double Dragon w/ LettuceThe sauce of Double Dragon was quite spicy but it matched well with tuna and salmon, yet I would prefer a lighter sauce like wasabi or almond sauce in order to taste the freshness or fish and veggies.* Crab Salad w/ Kale Noodles* Tofu Avocado w/ Kale NoodlesKale noodles were amazing - no carbs option for those who are on keto diet. Mixing the crabmeat, fishroes and kale noodles hit the spot tremendously well. Will definitely reorder this if I visit Poke Crew again. My Recommendations:Crab Salad w/ Kale NoodlesWorth Returning? Yes“
“My daughter and I came for lunch and had fabulous poke bowls. We built our own. I had half soba and half brown rice and she had just brown rice. I had salmon, tuna and salmon skin and she had teriyaki salmon (hot) and salmon. All delicious! The salmon skin is a new option for me and I loved the crunch, plus of course it's packed with omega 3s. The food was all fresh and they don't limit your topping, crunch or sauce choices which I appreciate. This was some of the best poke I've had in a while and I'll definitely be back!“
“So the fish is first rate super fresh great color texture taste I can't comment on the sushi as I just got a poke bowl portions were awesome only thing is the rice is super heavy on the vinegar not sure if the sushi rice is like that as I ordered it with brown rice but yeah very heavy hand on the rice wine vinegar otherwise excellent“
“Each bowl is a masterpiece of flavors and textures, meticulously crafted to satisfy even the most discerning palates. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite, with the seafood tasting like it was just plucked from the ocean. The variety of toppings and sauces allows for endless customization, ensuring that every visit is a unique culinary adventure“
“Okay, so, I love pizza but I can't afford (Diet) to eat pizza as often as I would like but when I do I make sure to eat the best of the best. The Bronx Sluve is on my top 10 favorite Pizza Spots in NYC. The crunchy thin crust, yummy cheese is a GO FOR Me! I buy one slice and run out fast, because the slice is so good I would go for seconds and probably third.“
