“We arrived at the restaurant and were seated by our host/waiter, Nick K. He was very attentive, went over the specials and gave his opinion to the best plates at the restaurant. He was very accommodating and told us that we can upgrade pastas and sauces with our meals. He started us off with warm Focaccia bread, I then ordered the veal parm. and mixed it with the Cacio e Pepe and a glass of Cabernet. My wife ordered the Bolognese with an Aperol Spritz. I had put in my reservation that we were celebrating my wife's birthday and Nick brought three desserts to the menu which was a nice touch. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be going back to try other delicious plates.“

We were the only ones in the restaurant during lunchtime. When it came to receiving our bill she put the wrong price down she said there was no manager to talk to which she lied to us. Overall Service and Food at the St.Albert location I would definitely not recommend on the other hand McGrath on the southside excellent for service food everything etc.“

“Excellent, no frills pizza shop with a totally classic vibe. Cash only, fair prices, giant slices and calzones, great quick service, large case of sodas to accompany your slice, and 25-year old newspapers on the walls. I absolutely recommend.“

“Ordered the spaghetti & meatballs lunch special with capellini pasta and extra sauce with a glass of ice water. The two meatballs were served sliced on both sides of a serving of al dente capellini. A generous portion of extra sauce was served in a separate bowl. Freshly shaved Parmesan cheese was presented in a stainless lidded container. The meatball slices were generous and soft and flavorful. The marinara sauce was thick and flavorful. It was a simple lunch but flavorful and filling. In the past I have enjoyed the exceptional chicken parmigiana, now one of the cheaper entrees on the main menu, and the tasty sausage and peppers. (These are offered with either pasta or salad.) I have never had their pizza which is one of their main items. Salvatore’s of SoHo is a destination Italian restaurant on Riverdale Avenue on the Bx7 bus route well worth the cost.“

The pizza is great , the “big” one is “huge”, the crust holds the pizza slice, good mixture of cheese and vegetables. The pizza is still delicious after placed in the refrigerator and warmed up (its big, don’t get soggy). It would have been nice if they had vegan cheese option as well.“
