“Came all the way from Brooklyn to go to the Bronx Zoo and found this amazing restaurant to go to afterwards. The ambiance is chic, rustic and cozy. The food is absolutely delicious. The fried calamari was perfectly fried, the lobster ravioli was soooo yummy, and I enjoyed the pepperoni hot honey pizza as well. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. My passion fruit margarita was really good too, as were the espresso martini, cheesecake and pistachio ice cream. I highly recommend this hidden gem and will definitely return next time I’m in the area.“

In the past I have enjoyed the exceptional chicken parmigiana, now one of the cheaper entrees on the main menu, and the tasty sausage and peppers. (These are offered with either pasta or salad.) I have never had their pizza which is one of their main items. Salvatore’s of SoHo is a destination Italian restaurant on Riverdale Avenue on the Bx7 bus route well worth the cost.“

The pizza was absolutely delicious — flavorful, with great dough and generous portions. The chicken cutlet hero was tasty, well-seasoned, and satisfying. Garlic knots were top notch, perfectly baked and full of flavor.

Service was efficient, and the staff were friendly, kind, and very accommodating. Everything came out quickly, and we left full and happy. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
