“Got a take out order through the TooGoodToGo app, granted it's always a surprise bag, so we didn't know what we'd get food wise.

The mixed platter was good in terms of portion size and variety of food, but it wasn't very flavorful. Will try this place again and see if going earlier will have a different tune“

“Local gem!!!! I have been coming here for years. I recommend my favorite, which is a chicken sandwich with the rotisserie chicken on hero bread with the lettuce, tomatoes, onions, jalapeño, mayonnaise and avocado. Your belly will thank you for the fulfilling-ness of this meal. I also get a smoothie with papaya, apple, pineapple, orange and cayenne pepper.
Staff is friendly and this a family oriented type spot. A total recommendation.

“I live a block away. It’s my first time. Amazing food. I had chicken soup and an empanadas. Mi novia had pigs feet y spaghetti…delicioso…the best part was the customer service was very friendly especially the guy at the register. Great energy. Packed during lunch.“

“I normally pickup my order and never an issue, food is delicious however, today we sat in to celebrate my mother’s 77th Bday and to my surprise the food wasn’t as good as i expected. The mofongo was dry even w/sauce and my mom’s salmon was overcooked. The server was pleasant so my 20%tip was for her service and I did mention the salmon was dry and she said she’d let the cook know but no discount was offered, although I’m sure it’s not her call to do that I had liked if it was offered.“

“For good spanish food on the go Jenny 2 restaurant is awesome and these are the reasons. The food is not salty at all very tasty. One can taste all other condiments, not overbearing well manged in taste.Their seafood doesn't taste fishy at all. “This was another happy discovery, and a nice place to stop in for old-fashioned Spanish comfort food. My favorite dish from here is the garlic chicken with rice and beans, as well as the fresh juices. One can make a dish off of the snack foods and smaller dishes by themselves; the standard rice platter that came with the aforementioned chicken lasted me for a few days, there was so much. They also have a wide variety of breakfast dishes and don't mind customizing them as needed.“

“I have placed an order for catering. I ordered maduros, chicharrón de pollo sin hueso, and pollo guisado. All large trays and food was great. I did wish I was able to order over the phone and do a deposit by card but I had to come in person for it. I don’t live the borough but the food was worth it. The workers overall were great and very accommodating. My food was ready on time for pick up and they carried it out to my car. Food was very delicious and everyone loved it.“

“I recommend no other Dominican restaurant in sunset park’s other than El Buen Gusto. It’s been open since the late 80’s by the same owners who ARE Dominican so you will always get authentic food. PLUS, They deliver pretty far IF it’s a big order. In indoor dining is always great, place is very clean and the service is impeccable. They remodeled recently, so the place looks brand new. It’s warm in the winter and extremely comfortable in the summer. Great Latin flavors, all their dishes are fresh and nothing is reheated or frozen.
