“interior was. ute, service was great and the food was amazing. they actually live up to the hype and it has now easily become a fave restaurant of mine! the mackerel toast was top tier and that’s coming from someone that doesn’t eat mackerel like that.

we also enjoyed the black miso cod a lot. it was very soft and had a nice smokey flavor when you’re taking a bite. highly recommend ordering it.

the hiramasa was also a favorite. the flavor profile was 10/10 but i wish they gave more slices of fish cause 4 pieces feels like JAIL. minimum should be 6 imo

we got the chicken and their striped bass special as well and while those are good i think they’re not MUST orders though still very delicious. my top 3 would be mackerel toast, hiramasa and the black cod“

“The fluke ceviche is a miracle. The pomegranate and fluke combination simply explodes in the mouth. The Basmati rice a triumph. Who knew crispy scallions could do this? The dirty chai crème brûlée orgasmic alongside the coconut sorbet... incredible!!“

“Food was amazing for my cousins birthday. I only wish that the steak portions were a bit larger for the cost.
Hangersteak did take an hour half to be plated. Seated at 530 steak came at 715.
Salmon was a little under for my liking and was taking off the bill with no issues. Friendly waitress same girl that did my anniversary dinner there.

“We had a great experience at Dar. The lamb was incredibly tender and literally fell off the bone, making it one of the highlights of the meal. The lentil soup was also very tasty—rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The paella was excellent as well, perfectly cooked and very satisfying.

Our server, Cece, was attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the meal, which made the experience even better. The service overall was great, and everything came out in a timely manner. I would definitely come back again for both the food and the service.“

“Our dinner was fantastic with Wancin , our server leading the way along with the cohesive kitchen which was entertaining to watch. We sat at the bar and Wancin made so many combination of cocktails. Everything is halal and the portions are massive — we got the shawarma crunch wrap (basically a loaded Crunchwrap Supreme with tender chicken shawarma, fries, and sauces) and a Hot Cheetos asada burrito. The crunch wrap was fun and crunchy, with good spice, and the burrito had that bold, cheesy kick from the Cheetos dust — definitely unique and Instagram-worthy. Also tried the chicken over rice platter; the rice was flavorful and the chicken juicy, though I wish the overall seasoning was a bit stronger/more consistent across the dishes.“

“I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The sweets themselves were absolutely delicious. The fruity pebble cupcake particularly was the perfect amount of sweet, moist, and airy. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d definitely recommend you stop by!“

“Very good mediterranean food! Everything is super quick and delicious but next time I think I will just ask for less sauce or on the side. I saw the Falafel made fresh and it was full of herbs and spices! I got the build your own falafel bowl with rice and romaine. The toppings all looked great.I would return.“

“Marson’s Cafe in Brooklyn is easily becoming one of my favorite spots — this is my third time here, and I keep coming back for the delicious calamari! The vibe is amazing, thanks in part to the big mural on the wall that really sets the atmosphere. Their Manhattan-style cocktails are top-notch, which is such a treat on this side of Brooklyn. I even brought my son with me, and the chef was super friendly and welcoming. The food is always incredible, and I’m definitely making this one of my go-to spots!“

“I worked with Kabob Shack to feed about 50 folks during a community event in Williamsburg. To start, I appreciated their community-oriented approach. They were really flexible, supportive of the organization, and responsive to our dietary needs & timeline.

The employees are kind and helpful. The food was delicious! We got plates for those who eat chicken and falafel plates for folks who didn't eat meat. Both plates had rice, salad, pita, and chickpeas in a tomato sauce. Folks felt nourished and satisfied. The plates had enough for lunch & to snack on later! The sauces were delicious - some folks even asked to take them home with them at the end of the day. The food felt fresh, made with love, and good flavors for sure! Thank you!

“We had a nice lunch with our friends from Arkansas. Rafi the owner came over to greet us. He was very nice. We had the eggplant schnitzel sandwich kale salad and falafel platter. The only improvement we could talk about was the outside of the falafel was too hard and crunchy. The service was great. We would go back again!“

“I usually don’t write reviews, but I am making an exception for this one just because the guy working there was super kind and respectful about the situation. My friend made a togo pickup on the app and we waited about 15 minutes for his food, and he still didn’t get it, so he went up to the counter just to find out that his order was already ready, the guy working there apologized and explained that he didn’t put it on the pick up shelf because people would usually go in and grab the bag( they probably though that way because when we entered my togo bag was on the shelf, so I grabbed it). He also gave my friend a free drink to compensate for it. I really loved how he handled the situation and was very apologetic about it, so it felt less uncomfortable eating inside the store. Aside from this the food tasted amazing and the portion size was filling.“
