“I don’t know where to start, one of the best all around dining experiences of my life. Started with the toasted marshmallow espresso martini which I had to try three of to confirm how delicious they were. Then me an my two friends order the octopus, lamb meatballs, and bone marrow. Rarely does every appetizer hit but these were all out of the park home runs. For the entree I got the roast chicken, and my friends got the two different duck entrees and a takeout container was not necessary. The vibe and service was just as good as the food, we also had the chance to talk with the owners father who gave us some background on the operation and overall just a very friendly environment with unbelievable food, and not very expensive for the value. I will be back again!“

“Went here for the first time just to have a few drinks and dinner .. The bartenders were very welcoming. The moment we came in we sat at the bar. Natalie was the first bartender to greet us . They have lots of menu items to choose from a large cocktail list large beer and wine list and the service was amazing. The bartenders were very attentive to us and Natalie took care of us most of the time that we were there and her service was just absolutely amazing. They made really good dirty gin martinis for me and I also tried an espresso martini and it was delicious. We got the Mediterranean flatbread. It was so good and a steak sandwich and fries. Everything was cooked to our liking and the drinks and food were amazing along with the service and conversation Definitely a 10 out of 10 and I can’t believe this was my first time going here. I wish I would’ve found this place a lot sooner. It will now be one of my favorites. I can’t wait to come back and try more things. Definitely a 10 out of 10.“

“I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“Since I became extremely lactose intolerant, eating out is always a disappointment. Not here! I could trust everything on the menu. I took a vegetarian friend and one with no food restrictions and we loved everything we ordered. Super friendly staff, great service and the food was outstanding. Mac and cheese, yes please!“

“Students do an excellent job and will be fine additions to any establishment. Before going to the Sabres game, having lunch with the culinary students of ECC. Pear-gorganzola with crispy prosciutto, Osso Bucco veal shanks, limoncello Semifreddo and fresh bread with garlic butter and pesto. Sometimes I'm hesitant to tell you where the good stuff is, because you have to make reservations and I don't want it to get over crowed as it does sometimes 😆“

“This place was in my hotel, Millennium, and it was a great experience!!! The food was actually tremendous. I had a drink, a shrimp cocktail, a couple of wines and the chicken parm. Everything was great!! My server, Hallie McKinnie, was absolutely the best and nicest server I can ever remember!!! Food, ambiance, service were again, top notch!!! This was better than a lot of restaurants I have eaten at. the shrimp cocktail was the best also!!!! Very cool place. they could up their wine list but that's not a big thing here in Buffalo...... “Cool buffalo relic of the past. Older crowd, cheap pricing and a small parking lot out back. Went in at 9pm on a Saturday and it was just two patrons and the bar was ready to close by 10. But they open at 8am. Super clean facility especially for how much history it has.“

“Stopped in on a Tuesday evening. Had a great meal. The corn chowder was superb. The chef made a special strawberry and feta salad for me. Husband had a burger that was delicious. We have had Cosmopolitans at many Buffalo bars, and these were some of the best. We were happy to meet Tony. He has been a customer at our business and we were happy to enjoy a meal at his business.“

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“Went to Betty’s today for a little brunch/lunch today! We had Brian as our server, he was super attentive, gave great recommendations, and kept our waters refilled (huge plus). “Got stranded at Christmas 2022. This hotel staff is absolutely amazing!! Very accommodating, super helpful. Other hotels are running out of food and these guys are making breakfast and a dinner for everyone. It’s truly an amazing crew. They are stranded with us and dealing with all the stress yet have a smile on their face!! A can not recommend this place enough, just because of the staff. Merry Christmas and thank you so very very much!!!“

They were full of smiles and had positive attitudes the whole time. I am actively nursing and they offered a banker room for me to pump so I can do it comfortably.
