“The food at Beacon Grille is amazing, we love the charred octopus every time, The duck was outstanding as well. We both had 2 rounds of the downtown cheerio which was a fun nod to the city, what really stood out to me, though, was the attention to detail, I watched the restaurant manager meticulously measure each table with a tape measure to ensure they were perfectly spaced, and even the placement of the silverware and napkins were exact. That level of care is shown with every part of the dining experience, you can tell this team takes pride in what they do.“

“Every time I’ve eaten at the Phoenix 269 the food was incredible- the service is perfect. I love the atmosphere and the patio. “I alway enjoy whatever cocktail I get from Ballyhoo, and my last visit there was no different. One of the best bars in town in my opinion with very reasonably priced drinks and excellent customer service. Not a very large bar space, but definitely worth checking out. They do serve a limited food menu as well, but I have not tried any yet.“

“The Celtic Menu was planned for this week and a friend and I ordered the Seafood light cream soup and Fall salad with romaines, toasted hazelnuts, grilled orange slices,et cetera to start ! Each was so very delicious ! Before that we were given their complimentary amusebusce ( sp.? ) of their homegrown cherry tomatoes, flavored butter and asparagus. The breadbasket had Irish soda bread,and one other roll. My entree was two pieces of beautifully fried fish, and shoestring French fries,and Cole slaw. Best that I’ve ever had ! Another entree was a lamb pasty with vegetables. The crust was marvelous and the lamb gently seasoned. We could not resist the ‘pot pie’ on a light,crust with delicious vegetables. 2 desserts were offered but we must leave room for those on another visit ! The chef takes time to come out to the tables to check about the food,and the staff is VERY attentive . This was a wonderful experience, as every time we attend ! Treat yourself !“

“This place was in my hotel, Millennium, and it was a great experience!!! The food was actually tremendous. I had a drink, a shrimp cocktail, a couple of wines and the chicken parm. Everything was great!! My server, Hallie McKinnie, was absolutely the best and nicest server I can ever remember!!! Food, ambiance, service were again, top notch!!! This was better than a lot of restaurants I have eaten at. the shrimp cocktail was the best also!!!! Very cool place. they could up their wine list but that's not a big thing here in Buffalo...... IT was very good!!“

“Cool buffalo relic of the past. Older crowd, cheap pricing and a small parking lot out back. Went in at 9pm on a Saturday and it was just two patrons and the bar was ready to close by 10. But they open at 8am. Super clean facility especially for how much history it has.“

“Stopped in on a Tuesday evening. Had a great meal. The corn chowder was superb. The chef made a special strawberry and feta salad for me. Husband had a burger that was delicious. We have had Cosmopolitans at many Buffalo bars, and these were some of the best. We were happy to meet Tony. He has been a customer at our business and we were happy to enjoy a meal at his business.“

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“Got stranded at Christmas 2022. This hotel staff is absolutely amazing!! Very accommodating, super helpful. Other hotels are running out of food and these guys are making breakfast and a dinner for everyone. It’s truly an amazing crew. They are stranded with us and dealing with all the stress yet have a smile on their face!! A can not recommend this place enough, just because of the staff. Merry Christmas and thank you so very very much!!!“

“Love coming here. Most waiters are really cool. There's one waitress who is not preferred. Food is good and nice portions. Beautiful scenery for quick pics and valet parking. They will fix mistakes...please be specific and have them repeat your order to you.“

“Went to brunch today with my 8 month old daughter and mother and the staff was more than accommodating. Gloria,Gracie and Glory were all beyond helpful and kind. They were full of smiles and had positive attitudes the whole time. I am actively nursing and they offered a banker room for me to pump so I can do it comfortably. The restaurant was clean,neat and the food was also delicious. 10 out of 10 recommend and will be coming back!“
