“We attended a Bengali wedding event here just this past week for the Gaye Holud ceremony. The event space and staff were absolutely wonderful. The staff was very accommodating and we had an extremely smooth experience. The food was well prepared and delicious. They were able to cater to both a Western and South Asian palette. The event space itself is beautiful and overall this experience was perfect for our needs.“
“Danny was my sever and he over exceeded expectations. I would definitely come back and ask for him.The ambience on the restaurant is beautiful service was great, Food was awesome, Drinks was the perfect measurements. The staff overall made the experience very welcoming.“
“Just found this place! Food is so good! The chef came out to talk to us and even brought a special dessert for us to try. Our server was so helpful when ordering . We hadn’t tried southern Indian food so it was nice to have assistance with what to choose. We had our first idly and dosa. Delicious! We will be back to try new things!“

“A unique Indian vegetarian franchise. The star of the restaurant is a superior quality,85% protein Soya Chaap, prepared in a tandoor then a pan, is one of the yummiest veg meats in my decades of vegetarian adventuresThe vast majority of dishes are created in butter with warm crunchy red onions and some contain cream.Excellent, professional service. Shilpa is friendly and Amrit the owner, around in the afternoon and evening, is a fantastic guide for those with special dietsThe eats are filling and delish.Prepare a salad or green vegetable, for a balanced meal and placeyour order.I never understand how Google reviewers assess cost. If you're having a meal it's $20-$30I recommend the Masala Tandoori Chaap, Achari Chaap, Keema Kulcha and Kulcha“
“It was a pleasant experience with the Iftaar Buffet. Very friendly, kind and mindful service, as I have moved recently from Chicago and was searching for our Hyderabadi flavored food and this was the only place where my taste buds were satisfied and reminded me the actual feel and taste of hyderabadi foood and Hyderabadi HALEEM. Highly recommended..!! In short can be described in Hyderabadi as- “Maut dal diey, aakhri maaze ka tha khaana, Aur kal le Lup lup marlere thy gosh khaare tho”???“
“We loved the food at Kamala Kitchen. The taste and quality of the dishes were amazing. It was pure nostalgia for me to be able to experience authentic Kolkata-style Bengali food in NY. Along with the food, the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Overall, the ambiance was warm and casual with awesome food. If you are in NY and love Bengali cuisine, this place is a must-visit.“
“NICE SOUTH INDIAN CUISINE!We went to get dosa for our son who was craving for one. We were seated and got our orders in a very short time. My son loved his Dosa and my husband enjoyed his plate of idli. I ordered lasooni gobhi which was tasting like ketchup on gobhi Manchurian. Overall it was a pleasant and good experience.Idli : 10/10Dosa: 10/10Lasooni Gobhi: 6/10“
“I enjoyed that chicken masala sandwich, very desi style yet super delicious. The price is reasonable, staffs were friendly and the ambiance is good enough. The only issue maybe parking issues during busy times such as Friday night.Dietary restrictions: Halal chicken“

“We ordered food through uber eats and to our surprise it was excellent. We never heard the name of this place until it was suggested by uber eats when i entered in the search "vada pav" lol... We ordered multiple things from menu like paneer tikka masala, vada pav, pav bhaji, butter naan etc. Everything was good.“
“Now that’s something Hicksville was waiting for, newly opened that’s why not so popular but I must admit they are one of the best roll’s in the area I have tried so far.I personally recommend to give it a try.The only suggestion I would like to add to the owner is please add some dips option.“
“After a long time has a peferct sarso ka saag . Totally punjabi style...without tomatoes.. the Makki ki roti remained soft till i got home.. I would rate this as perfect. Please never change the reipe of this... Still have to try the Paneer Purji.. ahich my friend raved aboutJalandhar wali AuntieVegetarian options: Sarso ka saag and paneer purji“
“It is the BEST south Indian veg food I ever had in NewYork.Taste wise and quality wise...it's the best best food.Dosa and Vada and chutney is so delicious.Coconut chutney (this restaurant makes it in authentic way)So happy I went there. But I really suggest them to change their mode of table service.“
“Special thanks to the owner and his family for the warm and gracious welcome when my husband and I entered the restaurant. We ordered the Samosa Chaat and Chicken Tikka Roll and it was so delicious and warm. The chickpeas in the chaat and the chicken tikka were seasoned perfectly. Cant wait to come back for more. 10/10“
“Most of the dishes were good, although a little disappointing to see chicken lollipops were made out of Drumsticks instead of the wings. Service was good, but it was expected as the place was deserted when we went for dinner. Ambiance is mediocre. Would go there again only for the food.Vegetarian options: They have all the usual Indian veggie options.“
“During my recent visit to NY, I happened to visit this restaurant for the first time. The food was authentic and tasty. The ambience was good and the service was great. I would surely go back to this restaurant next time I visit Queens, NY.“
“Kiran Palace is an exceptional Indian restaurant that never fails to impress. The moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu boasts a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes that are bursting with flavor and spices. From the aromatic biryanis to the creamy butter chicken, every dish is a delightful culinary journey. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it an excellent value for money. Whether dining in or getting a takeaway, Kiran Palace is a top choice for those craving delectable Indian cuisine.“
“Shahi Catering on Braddock really pulls through. The chicken tiki massala was very succulent and flavorful alongside the freshly made jasmine rice. Best of all was the delicious garlic nann... perfect texture, nice thick garlic without being too much. The food came out to a beyond reasonable price. 5/4 ?! I definitely recommend dining at this hidden jewel of a spot. ???“
“Cotillion has been my go-to Indian restaurant in Long Island for years, offering an unmatched dining experience every time. Their classics like Chicken Tikka, Cotillion Special Biryani, and the Malai Kabab never disappoint, but it's the Chilli Fried Lamb that truly steals the show. The fusion of traditional and innovative, especially with dishes like Hakka Noodles Chilli Paneer, sets Cotillion apart. Whether dining in or opting for their excellent catering service, Cotillion is a culinary jewel worth experiencing.“
“Excellent, all women operated and maintained. tastiest of mithais available in the area. I really loved their collection of mithais. They have good samosas, dehi Barray, and other things available. It's a good experience.Vegetarian options: All are almost vegetarian but many products use milk and eggs.Dietary restrictions: Sweets sweets.Parking: Parking in the street and in the backside of the building as well.Kid-friendliness: Kids can roam easily. But needs to be careful.“
“Great vegetarian food. Menu is hard to follow based solely on the ingredient descriptions, but staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back. Everything was packed with a great balance of intense flavors.Parking: Easy parking out frontKid-friendliness: Easy going atmosphere“
“Found this gem by accident and Im so glad I did. I didnt have much time so I got the chicken Tikka Masala lunch special for $15 with a can of soda. What came out of the kitchen was a meal worthy of $50+ anywhere else. There was a generous serving of Nan to accompany a deep savory bowl of chicken Tikka. I had requested 'medium' for my spicy level and I'm glad I did, anything hotter would've changed my opinion. The Tikka Masala immediately made me feel like I was eating in some auntys kitchen somewhere. The Nan is buttery and flaky just made to perfection. The place itself isn't the Taj Mahal, but the cozy setting adds to the home cooked appeal of its food. I cannot wait to return to sample some of their other dishes. Highly recommend checking out!!“
“Quite honestly the best Indian cuisine i have ever had. Very kind and accommodating family run restaurant with seriously SERIOUSLY tasty food. Me and my girlfriend had the shrimp appetizer and butter paneer. totally blown away by both dishes. Extremely fresh. Truly comforting tasty food. Highly recommend! Mid day is nice and peaceful for an intimate dining experience. EDIT!....this place is still amazing, we get the butter chicken and garlic naan now its so good. All my friends and family love this place too, even a friend who swore they wouldn't like Indian food.Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options that are all great.“
“We were in Hicksville and wanted some snacks for afternoon. We saw this place and wanted to try it. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went for just one item and we ended having three. The most important thing we noticed was their quantity. We had dabeli in so many places but we couldn’t finish this one . As they filled it so much . Their noodles were very tasty, made fresh and they gave lotsss of them. We really enjoyed their food and will definitely go back“
“Vegetarian options: Ambiance is nice, loved listening to the kirtans while thankfully enjoying a delicious meal. Chola batura is absolutely the best in NY. Kadi pakora, Lacha paratha and paneer stuffed nans are delicious. Infact all dishes were great. Gajar halwa hits a high note after a sumptuous meal“
“Went for the first time and didn’t know what to expect. We ordered the paper dosa and cheese dosa. These are huge! Plenty of food for 4 people. Everything was delicious! I would definitely recommend to others and return for another night.“
“My family and I always enjoy the service and homely atmosphere of the Hicksville location! The owner always looks after us and makes sure that we are satisfied with our meals. The extra Jalebi for my mom was the extra touch that makes you feel like family! Highly recommend for an authentic taste of Indian food!“
“I recently discovered this restaurant with a few friends and we absolutely love it. We came here for iftar and everything was delicious. There were so many items to choose from including butter chicken, bhindi, rice and many appetizers. The chai is also very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service is excellent as well. A few days later we returned for sehri and everything was on point. The ambiance is very pretty and cozy with beautiful decorations. 10/10.“
“Amazing food and service. Their dishes are always fresh and made exactly how you like them. Their staff goes above and beyond to make sure that you enjoy your meal. They are so friendly and professional. I definitely recommend this small shop over any place in the neighborhood.“
“Can’t go wrong here. Whether you’re dining in or having take out, I promise you that you won’t be disappointed. I pretty switch it up when coming here, and every time I’m impressed. It’s a clean and friendly place. Make this your next go to spot.“

It tastes amazing !!!! When it explores inside my mouth omg I’m totally addicted to it?especially i love spicy?totally recommend it?thank you धन्यवाद“
“Came here Sunday evening. The place was empty but it seemed like they had a lot of out going orders. We ordered an appetizer of a chickpea thing and it was so yummy! All 3 of us ordered different types of chicken. All 3 were delicious. Service was fast. I wish we got more of the bread crackers with the oil in the beginning. There are mobile menus and physical menus too. I can't wait to come back or order out again. Everything was so fresh.“
“Mahal has fast become my wife and my favorite restaurant on Long Island. Growing up i was always told Indian food was “spicy” so I had always been sort of scared to try it. Akbar was my first experience with Indian food and they're great but Mahal is next level. Last night Mahal was as full as I've ever seen it. As usual, every dish we ordered was outstanding. I usually order the chicken tikka masala but wanted to be more adventurous so I ordered the Rohan Josh - a goat dish which was tender and flavorful. We got a lump crabmeat appetizer and vegetable samosas that were moist and tasty. We brought our four year old son whom we weren't sure would enjoy the food but he had some roti and was loving it before one of the managers came to check on us and he asked if we'd like some French fries for him. It being an Indian restaurant, this wasn't something we even thought they made but they went out of their way to make him a special plate of fries which he devoured. Dessert was delicious too, I don't remember the name of it but it was condensed milk on small pastries with a bit of ice cream in the middle. There's a drink I always order - jalepeno margarita which is my favorite drink I've ever ordered anywhere. What I like most about this restaurant is that while last night was busy, we never had a single server helping us. We had no fewer than six people including two gentlemen who appeared to be owners or managers who checked on us to make sure we were happy. Top notch food and service and I can't wait to visit again!“
“Superb. Intimate dining experience with friendly staff and absolutely delicious Indian food. Have now eaten here twice and have had their food delivered three or four times. Never disappointed! If you're a fan of good Indian food, this place will very much please you and your palate.“
“Chris, the guy convince us to eat here and he was very professional and a humble guy. We were leaving cause the prices was a little high but he cordially accept us and gave us a good deal that we had to accept his welcoming environment. Nice and fantastic, clean and the food was Super tasty and delicious. Will definitely back here again only for Chris. Big shout out to Chris!!“
“Royal tangra masala is the best indo Chinese fusion place I have ever been to and to even go further than that it is THE best restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. From the staff to the ambiance of the restaurant it is an amazing experience with wonderful kind hearted people. I have had the pleasure of seeing all of china town and their establishments and to this day I whole heartedly believe royal tangra masalas food blows them all out of the water.“
“Our new favorite go-to for Indian. We have already been twice this week after finding it on Sunday. We have loved everything we have tried: Mulligatawny, Samosa Chat, Delhi ki Alu Chat, Alu Gobi, Chicken Tikka Masala & the desserts are out of this world!! We will be back soon and look forward to trying the rice pudding! Simi, our server (both times), couldn't have been more kind and accommodating. If you have a spice level preference just let them know and your meal will be prepared to your liking! Be a little patient this food is fresh and made to order, and well worth the little wait. Also grateful to have met such a kind and generous owner who really cares about your experience, even though the food absolutely speaks for itself. Yummmm“
“At first there was a little confusion with my breadstick order. But the staff was caring and corrected my order and made sure I left satisfied. I will order from them again and they are the best pizza shop in Hicksville. Their curry breadstick is the best!!“
“Yummy buffet lunch. They had vegetable korma, goat curry, other curries, chicken biriyani, tandoori chicken, rice pudding, salad, so many options and everything was so good and the waitress was so nice. I also ordered mango lassi with it. It was so good. Would definitely come again“

“I am a vegetarian person who doesn't cook any meat nor boil eggs at home. I have a small puppy at home. I requested them to make me some boiled mince lamb with only tumeric for my puppy which they did give me even though they dont make it for pets. It was made w/o any spices,it was just plain boiled lamb with some tumeric. My puppy really enjoyed her meal. I really appreciate the helpful staff and the chef who went above n beyond to make my puppy happy. I always thought that they make only non vegetarian food but was surprised to see that they also make vegetarian food too. I am ordering Rajma chawal along with some chaats for me today. It'd going to be my favorite place going forward. Once again thank you for making my puppy n me so happy. Appreciate all staff who made it possible.❤❤❤❤❤“

“I remember this location under its previous management. It has been Haveli for about 19 months. A friend and I were very glad to find this place, which should be busier given the value, very friendly service and spacious set up. There was plenty of room to enjoy a relaxing lunch. The buffet was a generous selection of dishes. You may also order off the menu. My friend and I will be going back.“
