New mommy is super hungry and wants nothing but Glazed & Confused. I call and get Paul the owner. I tell him our story about the runaround from Door Dash drivers we had messing up our morning and the owner comes to our rescue and delivers the food himself. Total class. Amazing guy. Amazing food. “As visitors to Syracuse, we decided to come to Destiny USA as it is such a big mall. To add to the experience, we also purchased their Fun Pass. We decided to use a voucher on Moochi, located in the food court, since it sounded quite good that you can claim a moochi donut or original rice dog PLUS a special drink! We opted for their strawberry moochi donut which was soft and chewy, not too sweet, and had good flavor. For our specialty drink, we ordered the Moochi Matcha which was so cute! The drink was aesthetically made with a cute cat lid (it had ears and a face!) The beverage was tasty but did not have enough matcha flavor. It was definitely on the sweeter side but tolerable. Overall, it was refreshing, especially for the summer heat.

Service was friendly. When we inquired about what their most popular flavors were out of the remaining selections, they made recommendations and answered other questions as well. I think this might be a family business as all three days I was in the mall, I noted the same three people working. A man in the back who usually tends to the rice dogs, then the three female employees in the front who manage the cash and drinks. This spot occasionally gets busy with a couple orders as there is about a 7-10 minute wait for orders.

Update: we ended up visiting Moochi again the day after and tried another one of their donut flavors, crème brûlée, which was deliciously sweet with a nice toasty flavor. I recommend their mango pomelo specialty drink as it was less sweet and had more fruit flavor! We ended up liking this drink so much we got it twice.“

“This morning was that awful snowstorm, and I couldn’t even make it to work driving in it. I pulled into the DD parking lot to wait for the snow to ease up. I went in while I waited, and by the time I finished ordering a large coffee and just any donut; it was in front of me! I didn’t get an offer of a receipt to thank the two women working there, and the tap to pay didn’t prompt to add a tip, but it was a really nice part of a bad morning. The donut they picked for me was also really good, some big glob of frosting on top.“

“I would like to thank all of the workers and the manager at this location. This past Tuesday, me, a friend and her two daughters stopped in for Food and Drinks. Unfortunately, the app was down as well as the credit card readers. We did not have any cash on us to pay for our order, but the manager(so sorry i did not get her name) was very patient and understanding and let us have our orders for free! Having worked in fast food in the past, I know how stressful situations like this can be. We truly appreciate the great service we received and the staff for their professionalism!
There was a patron inside(male) who did not have shoes on and had very dirty socks with his feet up on the table. He made us very uncomfortable by rudely interrupting our conversation and staring at her two young daughters. As we we're getting ready to leave he got up and went into the bathroom and came back out barefoot and proceeded to try and Converse with my friend who eventually told him to leave us alone and mind his business I don't want this to negatively affect the review because it has nothing to do with the workers however if this man is a regular, he should be required to wear shoes and keep his feet on the floor. It was very unsanitary on his part to have his feet on the table like that and this could deter people from visiting that location in the future! Aside from that we had a great experience with the service we received! :-)“

“This must be the only Dunkin donuts that has ever made a decent cup of coffee. It does not taste burnt, watered down, or have that weird taste a lot of chains seem to have for some reason. I got a large hot with one cream and one sugar, the normal amount of cream and sugar makes it taste like sweetened milk.

“Great location and serice here. Was no waiting for someone to get to the drive up window. Took my order, got my donut and coffee to go,(obviously, lol). Said thank you and left a $2 cash tip. The girl who waited on me was really quick to perfection. Her name is Madisyn or Maddy. Whatever, she was really great and had an infectious smile, a super personality ,and was very professional throughout the entire transaction process that only took maybe 2 or three minutes. The store is modern and very clean in the kitchen area. At least from what I could see as I paid my $4.32. It's nice to have a super great person like Madisyn/Maddy wait on multiple clients at once, and never lose her place in either order. Not one misstep with her. I'll shop there again.
