“Good people good times love there red hot & butter chicken wings. Pizzas good too.. cold drinks at the bar... I really don't get the reviews always had a good experience here at uncle chubbys in Cicero.. maybe most are confusing with the other Uncle chubby's.. owners are good people too...“
“Excellent pizza and garlic knots. Great customer service. Good value for your money. They do things the right way.Highly recommend!Parking: Loads of free parking surrounding the establishment.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get inside the restaurant using a wheelchair without difficulty.“
“It’s consistently rated the best restaurant in Syracuse, and there’s a pretty good reason: it’s really, really good. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice, and the food is delicious. For the quality of food you receive, it’s also shockingly affordable. 2 entrees, 2 alcoholic beverages, and an appetizer was about $75.00.I would say that’s a pretty great deal for one of the best places around.“
“Menu looks amazing! ?? Atmosphere is very warm and cozy and even tho I'm not ordering, just yet, Ive been given a water to wait on. Absolutely thoughtful staff. So polite. I feel like they work real hard and that's what I'm here for. ???“
“We were in town for one night from the Johnson City, NY area and I'm so happy we ordered Amore Pizza, hands down the best pizza we all ever had.The person taking our phone order was the kindest and they delivered very quickly. When in the Syracuse area we will visit again, the pizza was Unbelievable delicious!!“
“Wow! This little Greek pizza corner store absolutely blew my mind! From the moment we walked in, the decor was just stupendous. The shop is filled with huge, beautiful, live hanging and potted plants. There is what I can only guess is some old Greek music playing, and a single, older, but incredibly upbeat and very funny guy running the whole show from behind the counter! He does it all, takes the orders, makes the food, waits the tables... all with a big smile and classic witty Greek banter! The food was absolutely fantastic. I had a gyro on my first visit and it was the best I've ever eaten! The wings on my next visit were cooked to perfection and came fast too!I would 'hands-down' %100 recommend this place to anyone! It was an all-around wonderful experience and I will definitely be back again and again!“
“I previously made a review that I was unsatisfactory with my experience and I have to say after going back I definitely have changed my mind. I was promptly asked about my not so great experience and they made it right. The food was amazing as it was the first time but service this time was perfect and attentive. This is officially on our list to make a reservation at every time we are in town. Love this place! Thank you pastabilities crew for everything“
“We stopped in midway through a snow storm. We saw the open sign and we were so happy they were! The service was great and the food was fabulous! Portions are large and the prices were good too. The brick oven pizza was very good and the fish sandwich was perfectly flakey. The owner came out and personally waited on our table ensuring everything was perfect. We will surely be back!Parking: Parking lot is huge!Kid-friendliness: Kids laughing a little loudly was not an issue. We all enjoyed ourselves.“
“Il Limone is one of the best authentic Italian restaurants in town. Every time you sit down to eat, you are guaranteed a great experience. If the delicious food isn’t enough to keep you coming back, the family who owns the restaurant will make you feel as if you are apart of the family. The staff makes sure you are satisfied, ensuring that you leave with a smile on your face and a full stomach.“
“An amazing deep dish that had the freshest tasting ingredients and a flavorful crust. The wings - special sauce ones and garlic parm ones were delicious..it was clear that the parm was fresh and not the kind in the shaker. We also did a chicken bacon ranch regular pizza which was so good! To boot we had a great server named Annie!! Check it out!“
“We had a birthday party at Twin Trees III and the service and food were exceptional. Not only did the kids get great pizza to share but the adult's meals were delicious. We had a back room to ourselves and they even cut and served the birthday cake we brought.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu“
“All of the employees at this pizzaria are welcoming and delightful. I only order pizza a handful of times from them a year (they are the best and the money is worth it). True NY style pizza comes from Paladino’s in Mattydale. I haven’t experienced the same taste or authenticity from any other area Paladino’s.“
“Lakeshore pizza is absolutely hands down the most delicious pizza around. They offer not only the best pizzas, but they also have specialty pizzas, hot subs, salads, chicken wings, and appetizers. Vinny runs an amazing business, and continually gains customers just by word of mouth because of how delicious the food is, and what a great guy Vinny the owner is. His only goal is to please all his customers, and continually goes above and beyond to do so. The owner, employees, delivery drivers, are immaculate. The business itself from the windows, outside appearance, and immediately entering the place is spotless. Small businesses like Lakeshore Pizza continue to thrive because they provide phenomenal food, great customer service, and the cleanest place in town! Thank you Vinny, and all the staff of Lakeshore Pizza that I’ve gotten the pleasure to know over a lot of years for doing the job correctly from the initial phone call to place the order, and delivering a delicious meal every time we order. Continue doing what you’re doing!!“
“Every time I've been here, it's been Eh.What you're paying for vs. what you're getting does not match. The portions are small and quality is just OK. I could see getting the same meal the Pastabilities and getting double the portion for a few dollars less. Also, dining experience and level of menu knowledge at other restaurants in the area is much higher elsewhere - for the price you're paying. I want to love it, honestly.Reservations: Getting a reservation would be made a lot easier if they would open up an online option - it's a hassle to have to wait to speak with a human.Experience: We went at 5pm on a Saturday night. My sister and I both ordered salad entrees that were about $26. Mine came on a side bowl/plate and was an extremely small portion. We both ordered salmon and each piece of salmon was a different color. Mine was white/very light pink and my sisters was very pink and fresh looking. I almost mistook mine for chicken before cutting into it. Not the end of the world as I understand appearance can vary from fish to fish - just seemed a little 'fishy' (off).Service was OK - nothing to shake a stick at. Basic and nothing over the top.Ambiance was eh. There appeared to be Top 40's playing the entire time we were there, which was odd being it was a Saturday night.Overall, just Ok. I had a gift card that I actually forgot for this visit (gah!) so will probably just give it away or order take-out.“
“i come here with my wife almost all the time for dinner, we tried it once and always end up coming back. It’s great food and amazing service even, when it’s busy on a Saturday. we always get pizza with garlic parm wings, the wings are always CRISPY and absolutely delicious, the wing flavor is never overbearing and is always perfect every time same with the pizza. The pizza is always perfectly cooked never burnt even in the brick oven. The atmosphere is amazing they have entertainment and i think other things during the weekday, they have pretty lights hanging from the ceiling and they aren’t to bright. i can not suggest this place more.“
“First time visitors. As we often drive through rt31, we happened to spot this very small, tucked in the middle of a nearly empty plaza, pizza joint.Mostly take out.Not sure about delivery services.Couple days later we placed a pickup order for a large Neapolitan, with mushrooms and pepperoni and a large garden salad, with their own homemade Italian dressing. As we are always searching for great pizza since we moved back to New York, I can honestly say we are thrilled we found this place. The young lady who took my order over the phone was pleasant and very accommodating, and didn’t rush me off the phone.Their menu far exceeds being just a pizza joint, but for now we just tried the pie and the salad. In short, the pizza was outstanding as was the large garden salad.Let’s talk about that salad. For $7.50, we got a very large “garden” salad that was far from the norm. This thing was packed with fresh greens, assorted veggies, cauliflower etc. This was so close to being called a large chefs salad, just missing the protein.First glance, this place was very clean and well organized. But the star was the pie.Absolutely spot on and we are in the process of trying them all. From their on-line menu:Neapolitan thin crust large 16”Pizza$15.50Garden SaladField greens, tomato, roast peppers, olives, onions, giardiniera.$7.50Both items were worth every penny.Highly recommended and we will be back to start sampling the other items on their extensive menu.Give this gem a try, you won’t be disappointed.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp“
“Always like coming here after hitting up a movie at Movie Tavarn. Kids like to watch the pizzas get made and placed into the fire kiln. Fire wood pizzas are smaller and more pricier than the traditional oven made ones, but it's worth it.“
“First time here at this pizza place. Plain cheese isn't my favorite and do recommend pepperoni or sausage helps with the taste of the cheese mix. It's nice that you can see your pizza made in front of you if you order one direct than a slice. Have a good selection of Pure Leaf ice tea that I liked. Service is good and great with regular customers.“
“This place is not nearly as well known as it should be. There pizza is very very good!! Also they offer 10+ different kinds specialty slice pizzas available all day long, and until at least 3am on Friday and Saturday’s. Located right in Armory’s square—Nick’s Tomato Pie is located within walking distance of lots of the nightlife in syracuse…The Landmark Theater, Clinton Street Bar, Ice Rink, Red House, (for most of us) the OnCenter as well! Nick Tomato Pie is not only easily accessible due to there hours and location, the staff they employee is timely, pleasant and makes sure there pizza quality is consistent!!“
“Wow! Best pizza I've had in a long time. We we're visiting from Canada and popped in for a slice. Delicious. The dough was out of this world, just like Grandmas home made bread. The sauce was perfect. Try them if you haven't. You won't be disappointed. These service was top notch. Great job!“
“We stopped in for lunch with our kids on a whim...BOY AM I GLAD WE DID! First the people there are so nice and kind it was very welcoming. The pizza was EXCELLENT. Crispy, cheese and full of flavor. And the wings were just as good if not better. Glad we found this place I think it might be our go to for pizza from now on!“
“Hi, this was my first visit to Avicolli's. I would give it four stars for the following reasons:Firstly, I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, which was served with garlic bread and rigatoni.1) Taste: The Chicken Parmigiana and garlic bread were enjoyable. However, the garlic bread was somewhat tough, and the rigatoni was average in taste and quality. Perhaps my expectations were too high. While it wasn't bad, the rigatoni seemed to be just boiled and covered with a basic tomato sauce, lacking any additional culinary flair.2) Portion: The portion size was a pleasant surprise, especially for a lunch menu. My order of Chicken Parmigiana came with four pieces of garlic bread and a serving of rigatoni, which was more than sufficient and offered great value for the price.3) Staff and Vibe: The staff were welcoming and professional, contributing to a good dining experience. I appreciated the restaurant's vibe, enjoying a quiet meal as there were only a few customers, given it was a weekday lunchtime.Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience. However, on my next visit, I'm inclined to try the pizza, as it appears to be a more popular choice.“
“I've been wanting to check this place out forever. They have limited lunch hours during the week so on this Saturday myself and a bunch of friends went for lunch and drinks. It's very cute inside and I was totally surprised they had craft beer on draft and cans. Many local breweries which is nice and I especially like they had Beer Tree from Binghamton, NY. The waitress was very friendly and allowed our party to try small samples of beer or liquor before purchase which was very nice. We started with 2 charcuterie boards. The meat was very fresh with 2 kinds of cheese with small pita bread triangles, olives, candied walnuts (see photo). We got 2 different pizzas: Grandma and Philly Cheesesteak. The grandma had a deep dish herbed crust which I loved. The Philly cheesesteak was a thin crust and was different but in a good way. I also had in addition to the beer the buttery old fashioned. This was so tasty! I tried several samples of the liquor and all was good. I think the peppermint whiskey would be great at Christmas. My friends had drinks and they all loved them also. By the time we left the place was packed. They only had 2 waitresses and they had to make the drinks and bring out the food. They could use another waitress especially on busy days. I will definitely be back.“
“1st time there met with an amazing Gabriella who was nice and answered all our questions . What brought us in was the news and the paper discussing a speciality pizza. We ordered aPeter Luger Steak which is A classic white pizza topped with mushrooms, peppers, onions, shaved rib eye steak, topped with a combination of mozzarella and American cheeses and baked to perfection. Finished with a drizzle of the famous Peter Luger signature steak sauce was amazing. Also the Lasagne was delicious as well as the sausage Riggies. I would recommend this place to anyone especially if you want good Italian food the atmosphere was welcoming and Gabriella was friendly as well as patient with us.Thank you for dinner and your helpThe sisters“
“My first visit to Trapper's for an event was fantastic! Really unique space with multiple dining rooms, bar area, and a sweet pinball set up. The staff and owner were all friendly and helpful, food was amazing, and everything was very reasonably priced. 5 star experience all the way!“
“I’ve gone here for years and never reviewed because I never really think about voicing my opinion but I decided to finally. As a long time customer the food is amazing I’m never disappointed, I always get the same thing pizza, wings, mozz sticks and a 2 liter and it’s all amazing each time. The people are really cool and focused that’s how you know they care about what they do. They treat you with respect and appreciation this is the type of business you want to support because you know you’ll never be let down when you wanna order some good pizza.“
“Really good brews and some unique food offerings. Kinda big and cavernous, but I think that's the industrial vibe of the venue. Parking is free in a nearby lot.Parking: Lots of space but not directly adjacent to the venue (there's a small field in between).“
“Could not have been happier with the service and food we received from Tangy Tomato. We were looking to host a pizza luncheon for our entire faculty and staff at our school. As we called around to a number of pizza shops none were able to accommodate our unique schedule until we called Tangy Tomato. When we explained what we were trying to do and provide for our teachers and staff, Tangy made it happen for us and delivered even a little earlier than they normally do so that all of our teachers could eat lunch. The teachers raved about the pizza. Many of them had never had Tangy Tomato before! I told them it’s one of the staples in our house’s rotation! Thank you Tangy Tomato for helping us celebrate the hard work of our teachers and staff. We are really grateful.“
“A very obvious replication of pizza hut's pan pizza. Which is pretty good, especially considering pizza hut will charge you the same or more when for a replica this place tastes better. Sauce is a little sweater than I like, but still good.“
“Always good food here from pizza to hot Sandwiches. and such also the drinks are very good...... Plenty of items on the menu to choose from prices are reasonable.....Parking: Large parking lot in front of the business plenty of parking its free......“
“We usually get pizza on Mondays, so like many places, Johnny Macs has been out of the equation. This place has been in queue for when our week gets messed with. It comes with the added bonus of being next to a bakery we've also wanted to try. This name comes up a lot when people in Syracuse start talking pizza. A lot of people love them and we were excited to try them out. The first time we went with the Chicken Bacon Bourbon Pizza. It looked like an easy choice after going through the menu. We threw in a steak sub for good measure, and added double cheese. It wasn't a lot, but it annoys me when places charge extra per ingredient, even if it's negligible. 10 cents for mayo, 80 cents per cheese. We ordered the bourbon pizza because it's the only one on the menu you won't find at most other places. Also, it sounded amazing. For this pizza, the taste was everything. The pizza is light, thin and hard. Pretty toasted feel to it and not a lot of sauce. I did rely heavily on bleu cheese, but I specifically like my pizza very soggy. The sweet glaze over top of it with the chicken was the whole thing. I would have not enjoyed any other pizza with this texture and consistency, but in this case, the dough just kinda stayed out of our way while supporting the true stars of the show. This was our first time getting double cheese on a Philly/steak sub. It was awesome, and I'm going to keep doing this every time there's no whiz until I'm given a reason not to. Provolone and American, and it cleaned house. It's pretty much a given that unless you're told otherwise, a cheesesteak sub in Syracuse is going to have the same pre-shredded Sysco meat squares. So the whole thing is how they build around it, and far most importantly, the bread. The bread was top tier: soft yet firm with just the right "bounce back". There has to be a better word for it, but you all know what I'm saying. They don't phone it in on the bread, so whatever sub you order is going to be at least really good. The only con with the philly was that it had this prevailing taste of what I would compare to canned mushrooms. The sub didn't contain mushrooms, but that was the taste we got from it. We managed a return visit maybe a few weeks later. This place is a drive for most of us I imagine, but Bella's next door really helps takes the sting off. This was a simpler order, just their world famous "Special # 3", which as you all know is a large cheese with 10 wings. We added pepperoni and went with "HBBQ" wings. We weren't sure if the H was honey or hot, but we rolled the dice and got honey. Extra Crispy and whenever it's an option, extra saucy. If we could get our wings in a cauldron of sauce, we would fish them out, take a shower, and come back every day. So we were happy to get a good deal of sauce with our one dollar "extra saucy" upgrade. The wings were about average, good size and texture, and were pretty sweet with all the sauce. We'd probably go with hot or garlic next time. The Pepperoni pizza was kind of a disappointment. As predicted, it was the same setup as the bourbon chicken with no bourbon chicken to save it. It was thin, toasty, light, chewy, and whatever. It was just like any other pepperoni pizza you've ever forgotten. It was the kind of pizza your boss stacks in the break room once a month in lieu of a pay raise. I guess it's a matter of style preference, because we definitely weren't into it, but if you take a random poll in Syracuse, a lot of people are. If you ever accidentally pass exit 5 on 690 W, take it as a sign, double down and try them for yourself.“
“We’ve ordered from here multiple times now and each time we find mad good new things I’m addition to the delicious hand tossed pizza. This last go round was the garlic hot wings. In a location where there are multiple pizza joints (liverpool) this place is slowly becoming a low key favorite ??“
“We order and pick up often! Best Pizza on the Northside, maybe in the city?!Kid-friendliness: What kind doesn't like pizza?! And they have boneless wings and other finger foods too!Parking: Plenty of parking everytime we pick up our food!Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to get in the building, I don't remember if there is any seating, if there is there are only a few. It's a pick up and delivery kind of place.“
“Fantastic pizza and wings. There's something special about their wing sauce. It's hot but also has a lot of flavor. I wasn't overwhelmed by vinegar. The thin crust is a little thicker than I expected, but happens to be exactly how I like it. On top of that, it's run by lovely people. It's out of my way, but I'll definitely be back.“
“Rosie's is routinely a great place to go. Great food at reasonable prices with a great family owned atmosphere to match. Never had a bad experience here!Vegetarian options: They have plenty of salads to choose from as well as calzones.Kid-friendliness: They are a family business. Kids are always welcome.Parking: Parking in front and off to the side of the building.“
“Nice little Pub in Baldwinsville off the beaten path. I think it's part of the golf course and is nestled back in the trees.I had a very good meal with friends. My side salad was very nice size, and fresh and delicious, way nicer than a tiny bowl of just lettuce. My (haddock) fish sandwich was quite large, perfectly fried and bonus was that it was on a brioche roll. One friend had the Reuben which she declared delicious, even though she is not a fan of sauerkraut! The other friend had the 1/2 pound burger which she also enjoyed very much.“
“OMG! The Lemon Ricotta Pancake!!! Don't mess it up with syrup, it is perfect as served!I've eaten here a dozen times, never had a bad dish or experience.Today, we got warmed up due to power outrages ... warming up with Sausage and Gravy (#5 special) & Sausage, Pepper & Onion Scramble (#2 special) with a tasting of those wonderful Lemon Ricotta Pancakes! ?I truly hope whoever buys this place changes nothing and gets the recipes!“
“I just came from there. The place is outdated and dirty. The floors were gross. Made me wonder about the kitchen. The ladies bathroom door is rotted on the bottom. Air conditioner is old and barely works in the dining room. The people working there do nothing but chat. I was told my check could not be adjusted because the register locks and no one has a key. Where is the manager? Who is running this place? The food such as Cavatalli was over cooked, pasty and grease puddled in the bottom of dish. The potato skins were dry with no flavor. The cherry peppers had cheese all over them. Not what we asked for. The receipt showed an extra charge for that cheese. Open steak was good very good. I just do not think open face is what it should be called. The bread was so tiny underneath the steak, it was ridiculous. Came with three tiny onion petals? Also not what I call worth putting on the plate. Even the garnish was old and yellow on the plate. Just close the dining room. Stick to pizza and the bar. 62 years and nothing has been updated or cleaned. It was a disgrace to go there and see such filth and laziness from what staff you do have. You open at 4, no reason the floors should be nasty by 5pm. Try cleaning before opening. I would not want to work there. I DO NOT RECCOMEND IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE.“
“Nona Dina’s pizza is perfect. The crust is crunchy on the outside, yet soft and chewy inside. The mozzarella is also very tasty. However, it’s the dough for me! It is the best I’ve ever had. In addition to buying pizzas, I buy dough to make sausage rolls, calzones, and pepperoni bread. It’s always fresh and so soft! I will never buy frozen dough again. I’ve even bought dough from local bakeries and it is nothing like the Nona Dina dough!! The staff are also always friendly and personable! Give this local business a try!!“
“It was cool to run into Norma my dated sisters best friend. Good place to go great beers and great folks.Wheelchair accessibility: Watched a brother in a wheelchair come to the bar and ask for his favorite and everyone told him see you tomorrow so he must be a regular.“
“I love an independently owned and operated business. I love them a lot. I seek them out and I support them. This local restaurant feels welcoming. There is plenty of seating and they clearly do lots of takeout business as well. I've tried their chicken souvlaki and it was delicious. One son had their bacon ranch pizza and I tried a bite. We both loved their thin dough particularly. The other son had the meatnall sub and loved it, although he'd have liked a side dish. Spouse had the pasticio and enjoyed it. We will go back!“
“This local business will serve you a slice of why everyone should promote My local Buy localParking: The parking lot is located off a side road and the last I knew it is poorly advertised. The hill up to the parking lot is slightly steep and it's dirt notWheelchair accessibility: From the street I do not believe you can get to the door with a wheel chair but from the parking lot you can.“
“Love their wings, they are a hit with my whole family. The pizza is great also. It's unfortunate that they are understaffed, they have a huge dining floor with tons of potential.Parking: I wish there were designated parking for ATVs/UTVs“
“Food was too expensive everything else was great also to find out the information was bad we thought u only did a birthday party because when u call that all they say is u need to make a reservation but we just wanted to come as a family“
“OMG. Right in the middle of pizza row. Rt. 11 North Syracuse to Cicero is a gas station that serves better and WAY cheaper food. My mind is blown. The calzone was huge, cooked perfectly and $6 less than the famous place down the street that raised prices and lowered quality. Chicken parm sandwich awesome. And didn't commit armed robbery to deliver it. Just be careful with the website, I think a delivery service hijacked it. Love this place.“
“Stopped in for the first time as I was in the neighborhood. I always pick up their pizza dough at Spera's when I'm there. It makes the best homemade pizza. I saw that they sell pizza here at this location and wanted to grab a slice along with a bag of pizza dough. I was greeted by a friendly worker who was very efficient. I ended up getting their shredded mozzarella for the pizza and OMG, it is the best mozzarella I have had. Brought our homemade pizza to the next level!! It had the yumminess and stringiness. Happy to have some extra cheese leftover to use for other things and loved every piece. It's some dangerous stuff.“
“It was my first time dining here; nice and quiet at week day late lunch. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food tasted good, especially the garlic knots! I was surprised though by the Italian wedding soup and not sure I would order it again as it was not what I was expecting. It was like someone mixed what they have left of chicken noodle soup with what they had left of Italian wedding soup. This might be how they normally make it ?♀️. It wasn’t bad, just not what I wanted.“
“I will start review saying that I ordered this at 730am. I got their everyday special. 2 topping pizza, 20 wings and 2Lt for $26. I got pepperoni and bacon topping with medium wings. First off, the pizza visually looked great. The bacon looks burnt, but did not taste it. The sauce is sweet and had great flavor. Pepperoni also had great flavor with a bit of a crispy edge to it. The crust has good flavor and a nice crunch to it. I enjoy light sauce and light cheese, so it had a little bit too much for my liking. However, flavors are great and overall a good pizza. The chicken wings actually blew my mind. I rarely get good, crispy wings, so this was a good surprise. I ordered medium, but they tasted more of a mild. There was no sauce in the box, so perhaps I got mild. Either way, skin had great crunch while chicken was juicy and delicious. Overall, one of the better wings Ive had in a long time. I was a bit skeptical ordering this early in the morning, especially after they noted their fryers were not turned on yet. However, they came through by 8am with some good pizza and great wings. Will I order from here again? Definitely. Being an overnight worker, we usually have to wait until 1030am or later to be able to order. But here, they are open real early.“
“For once I had a delicious and stress free dinner! Tonight was the first night I’ve ever tried Little Mac’s Pizza and I got a half cheese half pep with hot wings and everything was above par! You can definitely taste the real cheese and simply flavorful pizza sauce. I call myself a critic about wings and the wings were excellent quality with a pretty decent hot sauce. Wasn’t hot enough though ? overall I give my meal 9.5 out of 10 rating ?? thanks guys“
“I was very impressed with our server Kelly. I was craving Sauerbraten and Kelly asked if I have ever eaten the dish before. I had not so she offered to bring me a sample. It was delicious! Our entire dining experience was fantastic. Thanks Kelly and the entire staff of the Euclid restaurant.Parking: Plenty of parking out back, on side of restaurant and an flow lot across the street.“
