“I've been wanting to check this place out forever. They have limited lunch hours during the week so on this Saturday myself and a bunch of friends went for lunch and drinks. It's very cute inside and I was totally surprised they had craft beer on draft and cans. Many local breweries which is nice and I especially like they had Beer Tree from Binghamton, NY. The waitress was very friendly and allowed our party to try small samples of beer or liquor before purchase which was very nice. We started with 2 charcuterie boards. The meat was very fresh with 2 kinds of cheese with small pita bread triangles, olives, candied walnuts (see photo). We got 2 different pizzas: Grandma and Philly Cheesesteak. The grandma had a deep dish herbed crust which I loved. The Philly cheesesteak was a thin crust and was different but in a good way. I also had in addition to the beer the buttery old fashioned. This was so tasty! I tried several samples of the liquor and all was good. I think the peppermint whiskey would be great at Christmas. My friends had drinks and they all loved them also. By the time we left the place was packed. They only had 2 waitresses and they had to make the drinks and bring out the food. They could use another waitress especially on busy days. I will definitely be back.“
“We stopped in for lunch with our kids on a whim...BOY AM I GLAD WE DID! First the people there are so nice and kind it was very welcoming. The pizza was EXCELLENT. Crispy, cheese and full of flavor. And the wings were just as good if not better. Glad we found this place I think it might be our go to for pizza from now on!“
“Absolutely DELICIOUS. Just had an amazing experience at this wonderful small, restaurant. The pasta is amazing, the steak sooo delicious. all the apps were yummy and the dessert was heaven. If you want a wonderful experience and in small sweet restaurant, please visit. Highly recommend!!!“
“We were in town for one night from the Johnson City, NY area and I'm so happy we ordered Amore Pizza, hands down the best pizza we all ever had.The person taking our phone order was the kindest and they delivered very quickly. When in the Syracuse area we will visit again, the pizza was Unbelievable delicious!!“
“Small, family owned pizzeria.. with an own that picks the freshest and best ingredients around. Good sports vibe, owner is a huge animal lover too. I'll forever recommend them.. I travel 25min just to do a pick and then 25 back to enjoy ?Vegetarian options: They will accommodate any preference as long as they have the ingredients.Dietary restrictions: Just give them a heads up during the order“
“Il Limone is one of the best authentic Italian restaurants in town. Every time you sit down to eat, you are guaranteed a great experience. If the delicious food isn’t enough to keep you coming back, the family who owns the restaurant will make you feel as if you are apart of the family. The staff makes sure you are satisfied, ensuring that you leave with a smile on your face and a full stomach.“
“Wow, can I just say wow! My husband had the fish dinner and he ate all of it. Not something he usually does. The steak, mushrooms and mozzarella over Mac & cheese, totally delicious! I gave that dish a 15 stars! I will be going back on a Saturday to try their prime rib.“
“Hi, this was my first visit to Avicolli's. I would give it four stars for the following reasons:Firstly, I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, which was served with garlic bread and rigatoni.1) Taste: The Chicken Parmigiana and garlic bread were enjoyable. However, the garlic bread was somewhat tough, and the rigatoni was average in taste and quality. Perhaps my expectations were too high. While it wasn't bad, the rigatoni seemed to be just boiled and covered with a basic tomato sauce, lacking any additional culinary flair.2) Portion: The portion size was a pleasant surprise, especially for a lunch menu. My order of Chicken Parmigiana came with four pieces of garlic bread and a serving of rigatoni, which was more than sufficient and offered great value for the price.3) Staff and Vibe: The staff were welcoming and professional, contributing to a good dining experience. I appreciated the restaurant's vibe, enjoying a quiet meal as there were only a few customers, given it was a weekday lunchtime.Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience. However, on my next visit, I'm inclined to try the pizza, as it appears to be a more popular choice.“
“1st time there met with an amazing Gabriella who was nice and answered all our questions . What brought us in was the news and the paper discussing a speciality pizza. We ordered aPeter Luger Steak which is A classic white pizza topped with mushrooms, peppers, onions, shaved rib eye steak, topped with a combination of mozzarella and American cheeses and baked to perfection. Finished with a drizzle of the famous Peter Luger signature steak sauce was amazing. Also the Lasagne was delicious as well as the sausage Riggies. I would recommend this place to anyone especially if you want good Italian food the atmosphere was welcoming and Gabriella was friendly as well as patient with us.Thank you for dinner and your helpThe sisters“
“We usually get pizza on Mondays, so like many places, Johnny Macs has been out of the equation. This place has been in queue for when our week gets messed with. It comes with the added bonus of being next to a bakery we've also wanted to try. This name comes up a lot when people in Syracuse start talking pizza. A lot of people love them and we were excited to try them out. The first time we went with the Chicken Bacon Bourbon Pizza. It looked like an easy choice after going through the menu. We threw in a steak sub for good measure, and added double cheese. It wasn't a lot, but it annoys me when places charge extra per ingredient, even if it's negligible. 10 cents for mayo, 80 cents per cheese. We ordered the bourbon pizza because it's the only one on the menu you won't find at most other places. Also, it sounded amazing. For this pizza, the taste was everything. The pizza is light, thin and hard. Pretty toasted feel to it and not a lot of sauce. I did rely heavily on bleu cheese, but I specifically like my pizza very soggy. The sweet glaze over top of it with the chicken was the whole thing. I would have not enjoyed any other pizza with this texture and consistency, but in this case, the dough just kinda stayed out of our way while supporting the true stars of the show. This was our first time getting double cheese on a Philly/steak sub. It was awesome, and I'm going to keep doing this every time there's no whiz until I'm given a reason not to. Provolone and American, and it cleaned house. It's pretty much a given that unless you're told otherwise, a cheesesteak sub in Syracuse is going to have the same pre-shredded Sysco meat squares. So the whole thing is how they build around it, and far most importantly, the bread. The bread was top tier: soft yet firm with just the right "bounce back". There has to be a better word for it, but you all know what I'm saying. They don't phone it in on the bread, so whatever sub you order is going to be at least really good. The only con with the philly was that it had this prevailing taste of what I would compare to canned mushrooms. The sub didn't contain mushrooms, but that was the taste we got from it. We managed a return visit maybe a few weeks later. This place is a drive for most of us I imagine, but Bella's next door really helps takes the sting off. This was a simpler order, just their world famous "Special # 3", which as you all know is a large cheese with 10 wings. We added pepperoni and went with "HBBQ" wings. We weren't sure if the H was honey or hot, but we rolled the dice and got honey. Extra Crispy and whenever it's an option, extra saucy. If we could get our wings in a cauldron of sauce, we would fish them out, take a shower, and come back every day. So we were happy to get a good deal of sauce with our one dollar "extra saucy" upgrade. The wings were about average, good size and texture, and were pretty sweet with all the sauce. We'd probably go with hot or garlic next time. The Pepperoni pizza was kind of a disappointment. As predicted, it was the same setup as the bourbon chicken with no bourbon chicken to save it. It was thin, toasty, light, chewy, and whatever. It was just like any other pepperoni pizza you've ever forgotten. It was the kind of pizza your boss stacks in the break room once a month in lieu of a pay raise. I guess it's a matter of style preference, because we definitely weren't into it, but if you take a random poll in Syracuse, a lot of people are. If you ever accidentally pass exit 5 on 690 W, take it as a sign, double down and try them for yourself.“
“Reds Palermo market, on the past you could go rent your favorite movie from the Reds Video and get a pizza and wings from the market. Well now there's no videos for rent but they still have pizza, wings, Gas, Beer, Cigarettes. All the small things as a quick stop convenience store. May God Bless You and keep you in his loving Grace..“
“Nice little Pub in Baldwinsville off the beaten path. I think it's part of the golf course and is nestled back in the trees.I had a very good meal with friends. My side salad was very nice size, and fresh and delicious, way nicer than a tiny bowl of just lettuce. My (haddock) fish sandwich was quite large, perfectly fried and bonus was that it was on a brioche roll. One friend had the Reuben which she declared delicious, even though she is not a fan of sauerkraut! The other friend had the 1/2 pound burger which she also enjoyed very much.“
“We’ve ordered from here multiple times now and each time we find mad good new things I’m addition to the delicious hand tossed pizza. This last go round was the garlic hot wings. In a location where there are multiple pizza joints (liverpool) this place is slowly becoming a low key favorite ??“
“OMG! The Lemon Ricotta Pancake!!! Don't mess it up with syrup, it is perfect as served!I've eaten here a dozen times, never had a bad dish or experience.Today, we got warmed up due to power outrages ... warming up with Sausage and Gravy (#5 special) & Sausage, Pepper & Onion Scramble (#2 special) with a tasting of those wonderful Lemon Ricotta Pancakes! ?I truly hope whoever buys this place changes nothing and gets the recipes!“
“Hey always treat us super well. They appreciate all the families and keep up with their regulars. 11/10 will keeping coming back.Edit2/21/24: they just started online orders! As someone who's on the go for work this is beneficial to one and all that want an amazing g Italian lunch or dinner for yourself or the family!“
“I love this place soooo much. It holds so many good memories from with my grand parents. We would come here and eat absolutely delicious food and their pizza was just so good along with a side of fries man you couldn't get better then that! The waiters and waitresses new every body including us they are all so kind and it was just an amazing experience. I'm gonna have to go back soon just for the memories. ( and for the pizza and fries)“
“Excellent Italian restaurant. The server Krista was very helpful. I was really in the mood for lasagna, I was one order to late. Krista recommended the baked Zetia. The baked Zetia was perfect My wife had the chicken Parmigiano. That was excellent. The garlic bread was good too?“
“A friend of mine told me average Joe's offered a very good haddock dinner. This Friday night I checked it out. Not the fanciest of places to dine at (or drink at) but we all know sometimes these unassuming places have darn good food. Yup. The haddock dinner I had was wonderful. It was not greasy. They did not put too much batter on the fish. The portion size was good. They give you plenty of french fries, too many? The coleslaw was a little light on portion, but good tasting. Very friendly servers. A good place to listen to live music. On this night they featured dangerous type.“
“Overall a decent place to have to grab a quick lunch. There is a few different entrances to get into the place so that was a little confusing and there is a bunch of different seating spots and event spaces inside. During our visit we ordered and the bad and that ate at one of the 4 outdoor picnics tables. Food was average, bar tender was friendly. Prices were not bad. They have quick draw at the bar and trivia during the week on I believe Tuesday and they have music during the summary on Thursday nights.“
“Fantastic spot for casual dining. The food is excellent and the service was great. We were there on a very busy Saturday evening and expected a long wait. Our server took our orders quickly and our food arrived fast, hot, and it was delicious. There is a nice selection of beers including some local brewery selections. We will go back whenever in Baldwinsville.“
“We stopped in midway through a snow storm. We saw the open sign and we were so happy they were! The service was great and the food was fabulous! Portions are large and the prices were good too. The brick oven pizza was very good and the fish sandwich was perfectly flakey. The owner came out and personally waited on our table ensuring everything was perfect. We will surely be back!Parking: Parking lot is huge!Kid-friendliness: Kids laughing a little loudly was not an issue. We all enjoyed ourselves.“
