“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

“Wonderful experience dining at the new Arlo restaurant. The renovation is absolutely incredible. You want to walk around just to admire how beautiful it all looks. The food and service was next level - reminding us of what you’d experience in NYC. Our guests raved about their duck entree, their boeuf bourguignon pot pie was outstanding, the oysters were fresh and delicious, great craft cocktails, and outstanding waitstaff. “We very recently had my mother's 80th birthday party here at Two25 with 40 attendees. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. First of all, it has a modern, calming and upscale vibe. The restaurant and restrooms are immaculate. Crisp table settings. Cool jazz lightly cascading through the sound system. Just great overall ambiance. From the moment I walked in to inquire about having a party, I met Caitlin, who deftly and expertly handled every single issue, before, during and after, with ease and grace. She made sure that our experience was perfect. A true professional and a credit to the establishment. From the moment that our party started, the staff was incredibly attentive and intuitive. The appetizers of arancini, wontons, and artichokes were absolutely delish. The salads course was perfect. And the main dinner courses were expertly crafted. I personally had the short ribs which were melt in your mouth deliciousness. My wife's salmon was cooked to perfection. And although I did not taste the chicken Milanese, everyone who had it reported it to be excellent. The dessert of gelato and cappuccino was the perfect complement to the amazing meal. And if I didn't stress this point enough, Caitlin and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate every whim. As an amazing example of that, before the day of the event, I mentioned to Caitlin, quite off-handedly, that although their beer selections were top shelf, they didn't have my go-to beer. Would you believe that the manager, Andrea, went out and personally made sure my favorite beer would be on hand for our event. Now that is what I call service!!!!
All of our guests were thoroughly impressed and everyone, invariably, had nothing but positive reviews for the event.
Two25 has skyrocketed up to our family's favorite restaurant.

“This place was AMAZING! I never came here before they renovated, but the interior is so beautiful and well thought out, so great job to them! The environment, the staff, the FOOD! Absolutely no notes.

We had a variety of amazing apps (not pictured). Started with the tuna tartar, meatballs (10/10 wish I had a second order of them), and the garlic bread sticks. Everything was cooked so well, while presentation was just as great.

Next the dinner. We had a steak, the pork shank, a salad, and a surf and turf (off menu) that was a full steak with clam stuffed shrimp. Steaks were perfectly medium rare and tender, the pork shank was so tender it was falling off the bone (in the best way), and even the simple salad was fresh and tasty.

Now the dessert. Everything is made by either the head chef, the soup chef, or the waitress. Each one is better than the next. Personal favorite: the dark chocolate cake. My girlfriend, who hates coconut, tried the coconut cream pie and said "wow. I might like coconut now". Her personal favorite is the bread pudding bites.

After dinner we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks while chatting with the bartender, who is so attentive and friendly! Lots of regulars and locals here, but it's part of what made the whole evening so lovely! We will DEFINITELY be back!“

“We had the cold double Lobster rolls and the sweet potato fries. The Lobster rolls were delicious and the fries came with a maple aioli sauce that was so tasty. There are plenty of outdoor tables with umbrellas spaced far apart and off street parking in the back. We will definitely go back. We have been back to DJ's many times. Today we went to DJ's with another couple and we all enjoyed the Lobster Rolls and Sweet Potato Fries. The positive experience included Joseph coming outside to our table several times to ask how everything was and if we needed anything. This is awesome customer service and Joseph should be acknowledged for this. He sets a great example for the other employees.

Parking: Plenty of street parking and off street parking in the back.“

“We decided as Suffolk County residents to take a ride towards Nassau County and wound up in the beautiful town of Bayville. While there we came across Mill Creek Tavern. Getting there a little earlier guaranteed us a spot in a small parking lot but certainly noticed many parking areas on the street would accommodate all. We were greeted by an extraordinary friendly staff that accommodated one of us with impaired hearing by putting us in an area that would have the least amount of noise as this was a Saturday evening. We were fortunate to get two service persons, our first one was Sue who was pleasant friendly and very patient as this was our first visit. Jean then became our server and we couldn't say enough great things about her. Personality experience humorous courteous all rolled up into one. Our drinks were professionally made and the food delicious. We left Mill Creek and agreed in changing our reservation for next week in another Nassau restaurant, and come back to Mill Creek. So thank you all for making our "virgin cruise" to Mill Creek Tavern, a great one.“

“Dinner was great. When the waiter came to take our order we wanted to just order the appetizers and then continue to figure out what we wanted for dinner and we were told we had to place the entire order together. We have been here many times and never had to do that before so we had to quickly figure out our meal so we could get some food. The food is always good we were a party of five. We hope they change the way they require the entire order together be placed.“
