“Last night was my first time here. The place has been open almost a year now and I just never stepped inside. I decided to try them because I’ve simply had it with all the other pizzerias in the area. I bought a large Pepperoni which came out to about $28 if I remember correctly. HANDS DOWN THE BEST PIZZA I’VE HAD IN COLLEGE POINT. NO flop whatsoever. Ordered it well done and I feel like I didn’t even have to because the undercarriage was beautifully crisped. I had a great conversation with the owners. They use higher quality ingredients, it’s family owned, a few more dollars than your average pie but I definitely recommend anyone in College Point that’s never tried it or visiting to try it. This pizza is by no means average and worth every dollar you spend on it.“

“We dropped by Ace's Pizza around 3pm., Brooklyn, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, 5th Ave NYC and it was such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating—amazing service all around. We ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Caesar Salad, and a 14-inch Pepperoni Pizza. Every single item was delicious! The quality of the food was outstanding. The pepperoni pizza especially stood out—crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. We really enjoyed everything we ordered, and the overall vibe of the place made the experience even better. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and craving great pizza!“

“In a city of delicious pizza, this pizza is DELICIOUS. Shared some apps and pies, cleaned our plates. Only regret not leaving room for dessert. Had a res for around 6 on a Saturday, they’re definitely popping around that time. Good atmosphere, not too loud, friendly service.“

“Ordered two pizzas. Pizza crusts were spot on and tasty...overall some good pizzas. The sauce though.
A previous review mentioned the sauce was sweet but that they probably don't add sugar to their tomato sauce. I would disagree with that assumption. Half way through the pizza ... The sweetness kinda took over for me. And that's just a personal preference maybe?

Service was cold and not the friendliest.
The set up itself was decent enough and clean... They had some latin music playing which was ok.

I'm not sure I'd come back if I was in New York next. If you enjoy sweet pizza sauce you'll love this place because the crust was really good :) Just the sweetness of the sauce was not to my taste.“

“Everything was perfect. Walking in we were checked in by the owner himself, who sat us at the corner of the bar immediately. The atmosphere takes you straight into old time NYC. Food was incredible, arguably the best pizza I’ve ever had. All around amazing experience!“

“First-time visiting Giacomo's Pizza and Restaurant and I am thoroughly impressed! The place has such a cozy, authentic vibe, and the pizzas are absolutely top-notch. I tried their Meat Lovers pizza, and it was loaded with fresh toppings and perfectly cooked. The garlic knots on the side were buttery and amazing. The staff made the whole experience wonderful with their friendliness and attention. Already planning my next visit!“

“It really is some of the best pizza in NYC. You can taste the effort that goes into every pie, and the crust is immaculate. I've gone twice and waited maybe eight minutes in line at most and the staff were very nice and friendly (and enjoyed the little VHS TV in the corner while my order was cooking). *****IT USED TO BE 5 STARS*****, I used to go at night all the time when the dude that didn’t speak English worked there. But now for the last few months, he’s gone, and the pizza was NOT GOOD the last 3 times I went over the last couple months. Only at night I have eaten here. So i couldn’t tell you about the daytime.

In restaurant business, things need to be consistent, too bad no restaurants are really like this. Because people change up all the time. One little thing can change A LOT in food prep/cooking. I know. I’ve been in restaurant business for 10+ years… hope you guys can fix whatever was wrong with the pizza. I miss it lol“

“The first pie I had from John at Fenice was the Detroit Red...which Tony picked up for me last week when i was at work...i finished the whole pie by just after midnight...but I had to go for the regular NY Cheese pie fresh from the oven. We scored one of the two tables there and were able to decide which of the other slices to bring home...it was like a pizza candy store. We didn't finish our pie so brought home two slices, and I wanted to try John's sicilian, I couldn't leave there without a Detroit Red slice and Tony wanted the multi cheese white pizza...every pizza we tried was perfect! something about the dough. The sauce. The cheese. The dough for the Sicilian and the Detroit Red was light and perfectly crunchy on the bottom. Flavor out of this world. We drove from White Plains just to try Pizza Fenice. worth the trip.“

“Love this place, but I mistakenly ordered the GF pizza and only realized once I got home that it looked nothing like the photo on the website. It just wasn’t what I expected. The staff were great when I called — they replaced it free of charge and were really helpful.

That said, the website could really use an update. The standard pie and the GF pie are very different, and the current photos are a bit misleading. I had to drive back to swap it, which could’ve been avoided with accurate images.

Still a fan of this spot, just hoping the online menu gets updated!

“This spot is unfreaking real and so unassuming on the outside… My group walked over to Chrissy’s not realizing it was pies only no sliced and some friendly people on the street directed us here—for good reason. These are truly some of the best slices I’ve had. Everyone raved about it after! Would definitely recommend.“

“My spouse and my favorite neighborhood restaurant. The best place to pop in for a quick date night or to bring parents to brunch on a sunny weekend. It was the obvious place for us to host our wedding this past weekend. The food (pizza, pastas, charcuterie, focaccia, and of course, oysters) were all fantastic as always. Yuki and the service staff took amazing care of us. They turned every trial into an opportunity such as graciously moving tables inside when it started to rain. We can’t thank them enough for the beautiful role they played in the happiest day of our lives. We can’t wait to relive it over and over every time we drop in for one of our favorite meals“

The breakfast pizzas are spectacular: I can't decide which one I like better, the potato and egg or the smoked salmon with the everything bagel seasoning on the crust. “The BEST Sicilian square sourdough pizza on the planet 🌎 their sauce is organic and phenomenal, the cheese is wonderful, olives and if you feel like it Add some sausage, and the yummiest pecorino Romano shreds just topped it off. The crispiest crust and So incredibly digestible, because it’s sourdough. Sourdough is fermented and your gut loves fermented food… Love their little gem lettuce salad with their homemade dressing. Very simple here I think we ordered 3 square pies and of course brought some home The Sicilian squares heats up beautifully Just love OPS on Himrod Bushwick Brooklyn!!!! We brought our son who lives in Louisville and this time brought our daughter and boyfriend who live in San Diego and their rock star Pal who is on a tour with THE WHO. All give the square pizza A+ Excellent! The staff is warm and friendly!!!“

“This was my first time entering this pizza shop. My husband works at the hospital, so I caught the train to New Rochelle to meet him but I was very hungry and was craving pizza all day. I googled pizza shop near me and I believe 3 popped up. Well I chose Mario’s shop, and was not disappointed. Something about that pizza sauce was different. It was so delicious and the crunchy crust was everything!!!! My husband told me I made a “good choice” after he swallowed his slices lol. I’m adding this shot to my list for sure. “The young lady helping me today was super attentive, I didn't get her name, but it's 12-13-2025 at 11AM .
I wanted to tip her, it's Holiday season, but she kindly said they don't accept tips.
I feel that the owners should leave that up to us whether we want to recognize an employee by tipping and not dictate it whatsoever.
That is my only complaint.

“Ordered for the first time last night, they were super accommodating since we called at 8:45 and they close at 9:00…. They made us 5 pies and I’m was so appreciative. They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! Amazing owners and such a delight to have in valley steam!! The owner explained the ingredients and concept to my husband and his friend. They can’t back telling us so about it!“

Not there, not at the mobile gas station and not at the Key Foods grocery store with the rude security guard. You see people urinate on the street and I can't blame them. So grab a nice friendly slice but save the drink order for a place with a restroom that requires purchase.“

“From the moment you step into this casual, cozy Italian eatery, you are treated like family. The manager, Jumar, greets you, and his friendly banter and hospitality will immediately put you at ease. The menu offers all of the classic Italian dishes. There are plenty of salad, pasta, and entrees to choose from. We started with the Fried Artichokes and Zucchini. This beautiful, mouth-watering golden appetizer was light and airy and piled high with a fresh lemon wedge and dipping sauce to add to the experience. For my main, I had the Cacio e Pepe with Grilled Chicken. It was so authentic, it transported me directly to a Trattoria in Rome. The pasta was al dente and lightly seasoned, and was topped with moist, delicious slices of tender grilled chicken. My wife had the traditional Clams with Linguini which was a memorable culinary experience for her. We wrapped up the meal with Fresh Berries. This too was perfection, as there was a generous variety of bluberries, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries topped with a sweet, delicate, melt-in-your-mouth whipped cream. “Tried Rome to Brooklyn and ordered a Grandma, Cheese, a Meat Lovers, plus 4 garlic knots. Overall, really good pizza. The cheese and meat lovers were 🔥 flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what you want when you’re in the mood for solid NYC pizza. The garlic knots were also a win.

The Grandma slice, though? Looked beautiful, but flavor-wise it didn’t hit the same for me. Might just be personal preference, because everything else was on point.

Only other thing: it’s a little overpriced… but also, it’s Williamsburg, so what did I expect? Would come back, just might skip the Grandma next time.“
