“It's a shame to write this but we couldnt get through to anyone who spoke English. They bake delicious goods but the girl behind the counter sold me white bread instead of rye. You would think she would know the difference. This is the 2nd screw up. The last time she overcharged us and didnt even blink. Be careful you don't get ripped off by the cashiers. Otherwise, it's a nice bakery. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously.

“I stopped in to Emilia’s Bakehouse Café on Walt Whitman Rd in Melville yesterday (they have another location in E. Northport) and boy, was I glad I did! I entered into a well-lit shop filled with pastries, scones, cookies, brownies, croissants, breads and quiches, etc. and was greeted with enthusiasm and a smile by 2 attractive young ladies. It was a great vibe just being there, very stress relieving. The chocolate brownie is perfection in texture and taste! The scones and peanut butter coconut power bites are delicious! Their organic Colombian coffee is the bomb, and you can get it with your favorite milk - for me it’s Oat Planet oat milk. Stop in, it’ll make your day! A feast for the eyes and tastebuds :)“

“My wife was looking for a bakery who made eggless cakes and she stumbled upon this bakery by chance. She ordered a custom made gulab jamun flavored eggless cakes and. It was definitely one of the best cakes I had especially for my birthday. My folks also grabbed a few puffs - mixed vegetable and paneer puffs while they went to grab the cake. Those were spicy and delicious as well. We will be ordering regularly from this bakery moving forward. Definitely want to try all their different flavored items. Highly recommended!“

“The food was amazing, I got the Texas Hold ‘em but with grilled chicken and they did an amazing job. They cook the chicken/bacon right in front of your eyes, plus the food tastes incredibly fresh. I recommend getting one of their panini’s, they know what they are doing and most likely what they have on the menu is a really good idea.The place has a huge drink selection on the wall, a few shelves full of chips, and the menu is incredibly easy to read and it actually includes the ingredients which you don’t see anymore nowadays.The staff was super nice and took your order quickly, somehow the (I believe manager) remembered my order (Texas hold ‘em with grilled chicken) in just three visits.Sadly soon I’ll have to leave New York and won’t be able to eat here anytime soon, but I will remember this place.“

I came here with my friend, I wanted to try it because I'm currently dating a Vin and it looked like a good bakery. My friend and I were impressed with what we bought. I got the peanut butter square to try and it was so delicious, a good amount of peanut butter and chocolate. I got the linzer tart which I split with my family later on that night and the jelly inside the linzer tart was amazing, a crisp fruity taste! The coffee was also good I didn't expect the coffee to be good but it was a good cup of coffee. This is a bakery worth visiting.“

I go especially for their fresh goods - baklava, spanakopita, tiropita, galaktoboureko, kourabiedes, koulourakia, melomakarona, etc. Everything is so fresh and so delicious. They have a small hot case with the spanakopita and tiropita, so you can get a piece ready to eat. The people there are so nice as well. Good variety of cheeses and frozen goods too. One star removed for convenience of store hours. They are only open during the day, Monday to Friday. I wish they would consider opening on Saturday, if even for a few hours, or staying open past 4pm a few times a week.“

Not only the was the staff and baker patient and friendly, they made the entire process stress-free during a stressful time! We struggled to decide a concept before hand but the baker was able to guide us (over the phone with a family member there in person- so even more impressive) to a design and flavor combo that we hadn’t considered and ended up becoming our favorite. Our cake was PERFECT! We were able to pick it up and store it for a few hours at the venue and it kept perfectly. “I tried the personal size chocolate bourbon pecan pie from Uncle Jeff’s. It was delicious! Mr. Church actually texted me and asked me to give him an hour to bake one fresh, since he didn’t have any on hand when I ordered. It was still warm when I picked it up. My wife, who normally doesn’t like sweets, tried a slice and she told me it was the best pecan pie she ever had! She said it wasn’t too sweet and it was the perfect consistency for a pecan pie. I can’t wait to try some of Uncle Jeff’s other varieties of pies!“
