“So nice inside and the food is great!! it's about 10-ish bucks for a salad, and it's so worth it. I've gotten salads from the Pop salad section and i just tried a quesadilla with steak (omg soooo good, the steak is soft and juicy and seasoned just right). the salad is always fresh and tasty and the portions are big!! My quesadilla meal was about 13.50 without the drink but i have leftovers and I always have half a salad left so it's like 2 meals for 10-15 dollars...so worth it. The people that prep the food in the back are so nice too. Idk where they found these employees but they are just so genuine and friendly. Love this place. I recommend it to everyone lol“

We had the short rib special, the sea bass and the swordfish entrees and they were delicious! The mussels in white sauce to start and the (clearly) homemade peanut butter and chocolate & carrot cake desserts were phenomenal. And here is a secret...It was affordable. The food was incredible and plentiful. Great Chefs. Another secret...add the raw oyster station. We went with 100% out of doors and it was spectacular. Fits 100 easily. Places for shade and sun and a great gazebo for the ceremony. We can't recommend it more. We did our wedding but this could have been a 50th birthday just as easily. Another secret is bring your own acoustic player for the music. We had a friend play and it really set the mood for the day. So, The View in Oakdale is a perfect spot to start a life together, party for someone reaching a milestone or hell, just a great happy hour with friends on the water.“

“Last night we (2 couples) went to Ruth Chris Steak House in Lake Grove, NY for dinner and had the best dinning experience we have had in awhile. It is now our favorite steak restaurant. The food is outstanding, compliments to the chief!! Also, I would like to comment on our waitress, Kim, who is terrific!!! She was so attentive to all our requests, took care of us all night. Also, the manager is a real gentleman, and he also made us feel comfortable and special. Without a doubt, this is the best steak restaurant on the Island, we have been to most of the upscale restaurants here and we rate this the best. If you want terrific food, great service, and a delightful ambiance, try this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!!!“

“Got 3 tacos combo, double rice, and a side of guac. With tip it was 15$ - amazing price.

Top-tier service, great cashier.

Guac is great, pork taco was great. Chicken taco was super dry and nasty. Steak taco was okay.

Rice was straight mushy. Could be from the drive home though.

My main issue is the sauce, asked for the spiciest they had and it didn’t have a hint of spice. It tasted sweet, a mild sauce from Taco Bell is spicier.

Really confused by it, my girlfriend who can’t handle pepper said it was good and had a “little kick to it”. She can’t even handle green Tabasco without freaking out… I NEED ME SOME HEAT MIGUEL!“

“Had the pleasure of eating at the Greenport location. Two of my HS girlfriends and myself on moderately busy on Sunday (1012/24) at about 5:30. A young waiter named Brian was our server. We first ordered drinks, mine was the margarita with the pomegranate swirl. So delicious!! Refreshing and frosty! We shared the Mexican Street corn and the three dips with chips, which were freshly made. So fabulous! So tasty. The salsa, guacamole and queso were just perfect, each different but delicious!! The corn was sweet and flavorful. I had three tacos in hard shells. Fried chicken, fried shrimp and the marinated steak. Each one was different and very fresh. My one friend, is a vegetarian and the other is gluten intolerant BUT! They each found many yummy choices! I’ve been trying to get to this restaurant for several years, and finally the planets aligned! Brian was well trained, patient and informative with a good humor. The interior is bright, festive and clean. So much food, I could not finish all of it. And!! the restroom was clean! You should be very proud of this business! We will be back! Thank you!!“

“My 9 year old had decompression and a duraplasty surgery at the beginning of the month. When we were discharged from PEDS ICU, claws was the first meal he requested. “Trio Restaurant at the Holbrook Country Club is an outstanding venue. It’s primarily an event hall rather than a typical sit-down restaurant, and they really do a fantastic job hosting gatherings and celebrations.
Everyone is treated like royalty from the moment they walk in. The service is excellent, the food is great, and the hospitality is even better. The staff is friendly, helpful, and makes sure everything runs smoothly.

“Went to Grumpy Jack's to celebrate my granddaughter's H.S. graduation. We were a table of 22, seated upstairs. Our waitress, Joelle, was amazing. She was working the entire restaurant. The downstairs and our group upstairs. She was very pleasant, professional, and did a great job handling everything herself. The food was so good. “Tiki Joe's is a nice little beach front kitchen and bar. The food is good. A little pricey though. The bar is nice. Beautiful view of the Long Island Sound on the North Shore. A lot of speciality drinks/cocktails. They have bands that usually play on the weekends but you have to get there early. They stop playing by 9p.m. Other than that, overall decent spot.
