“So convenient for this type of food in this park! I really like their wings. So cripsy, crunchy and fresh! The hot dogs were good w/ the red onions and mustard. They weren't like the hotdog carts at central park which was soggy; the hot dogs here were very fresh. Quick snack to eat and walk around the park!“

“Dog Day is a truly special place and the reason I moved to the neighborhood. I otherwise consider myself a vegetarian of 8 years. These hot dogs are divine any time of the year, but here’s my advice:

On a crisp fall day, don’t eat until 2pm. Have two Chicago dogs and a milkshake, then walk through the park. A cure-all.

Last October I had a great conversation with a zombie witch who shared my table. It told me to always, always answer when I hear the hot dogs calling. Sometimes I hear the dog’s call ringing through Greenwood Cemetery treetops at night and I have to wait up all night in a cold sweat praying for noon to arrive.“

“First noticed while watching the movie Fools rush in. Since my last name is Gray I always wanted to go there. Been there in 2010 the first time and immediately fell in love. A couple a weeks ago I went to New York on short notice and the first thing on my to do list was going there. Say what you want. Those are the best hot dogs on the planet. And I will go there again everyone I visit NYC. You just have to love them❤️“

“Got the half mozzarella, half beef dog with the potato coating and it hit the spot. Super crispy on the outside, cheesy and juicy on the inside. It is one of those things where you take a bite and immediately want another.

Edit: I wish it came with a full beef dog instead of just half, and the kimchi fries didn’t include enough fries or kimchi for what we paid.“

“Look it’s a quick eat in or take out kind of place but what makes this place stand out is the staff. The young man from the Ivory Coast and the others from Bangladesh try to help and serve you the best way they can. They treat everyone with kindness and dignity. I had been gone to Asia for 6 weeks and the first place I ate at in Chelsea was HERE. It was nice to be greeted so warmly. I think they changed their French fry supplier for which I am happy about. These are crispier and not those old crinkled tasteless steak fry. They added a new menu item-a hot dog Chicago style. I got my usual Cheeseburger with all the fixings and GRILLED ONIONS. Ah! I was home.

“Good, clean bar super close to George Washington Square …. Excellent barman and wide selection of drinks. We had buffalo wings and mozzarella bites for snacks. Wings were cooked well with a decent blue cheese dip. Would recommend stopping in if you fancy a drink.“

“The egg toasts were delectable! Actually so happy my sister and I chose to come by. It has a tiny kick of spice which was a pleasant surprise. My sister got the vanilla flat white coffee and she loved it and finished it so quickly. The only thing I wasn't over the
moon for was the corndog. I got the mozarella hot dog corn dog and it was okay. I wouldn't get it again.

The space is small but offers some seating indoors and outdoors. I will definitely try to come again for the egg toast specifically.“

“A place with a wonderful atmosphere. The view is beautiful. You can admire the sunset and then beautifully illuminated Manhattan. I would definitely come back for this atmosphere. A very large selection of beers, all the ones I tried were good. As for the food, it was ok. It wasn't anything outstanding but it was tasty. The meat was well cooked and had a nice grilled flavor. The whole dish would need some original sauces that would make everything less dry.“

I took the shot and they didn’t miss. Solid hotdog, cooked on real flame grill. I’ve had Coney Island hotdog since then, but it didn’t hold a candle to this joint.10 out 10 eat here again.“

“I’ve tried over a dozen Halal carts in the city, and this one has by far the best chicken over rice. Once you try it, you’ll go out of your way to come here every time you crave halal.

The chicken is juicy and always perfectly flavored and cooked. All ingredients are fresh. The sauces are great, and the red sauce is VERY spicy (love it)

The folks running it are super friendly and the cart is kept clean.

My friend and I ate a bacon egg and cheese on toast. The entire sandwich is a beautiful presentation. The toast was golden brown, warm and sliced as to envelope the ingredients. The cheese a warm gooey skin around the walls of the toast. The bacon, added wonderful flavor to the fluffiest eggs I have seen in quite a while. “I don’t know why this isn’t rated higher. This is an insanely good burger joint. The burger is savory and perfectly sauced with just a hint of pepperyness on the sauce that brings out a ton of flavor. The fries were perfectly golden and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.

The staff are super friendly and fun! The music is great. Seltzer water from the fountain machine!

“I recently visited Locos Burgers, and it was amazing. From the moment I walked in, I could immediately feel the welcoming atmosphere. It was as if I were back at home. I decided to try out their Salchipapa Loca, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were savory and perfectly seasoned, hitting all the right spots in every bite. The combination of crispy fries, savory meat, cheese, and the delicious sauces on top was a real treat. Not to mention, Yari, the main waiter who served me was fantastic. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made sure I had a great overall experience. Her excellent service and personality truly enhanced the visit. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!!“

“Shame on me for not visiting this food truck earlier. This is by far the best food truck for Italian sausage and Philly cheesesteak and only $12 each What a bargain.

Everything cooked right in front of you hot and fresh and did I mention the outstanding service the two gentleman in the truck provided. Both so warm and inviting, made me feel like a regular though it was my first time.

No doubt I will be back soon to try out the rest of the menu, including hotdogs and knishes.

“The food here is pretty great for the price. The burger was bussin, and my boyfreind got the diabetes supreme milkshake, and it tasted yummers. My BF also got the big daddy bacon double patty burger, and it included no tomatoes or lettuce or any other thing to counteract the taste, so it was meh. Fries are soggy and doesnt stand by itself as something I would buy by itsled. The song choice in this place is very distracting, mid AUX.“
