“I’m reading reviews and can’t understand how anyone can not give 5 stars or refer to the food as mediocre that’s so far from reality I’ve eaten here many times and not once was my food less than amazing. The location, the bar regulars,the family feel ,and the staff friendliness added to the exception Talent of Salvatore the chef /owner who creates amazing selections that make your mouth water. Just ask for him he will come welcome you and thank you for coming Many of his family members work here so there’s much pride in the food and the service. I’d have to say this is my favorite place to eat. Hardest thing is choosing what to eat.Vegetarian options: Just tell the waitress your preference and she will give you suggestions or if needed the chef will make special order for you.Parking: Easy to park there’s a waterfront park on the corner which gives it beautiful scenery a romantic walk or wind down on a bench looking at the water and mountains this is a diamond in upstate NY“
“On a Sunday afternoon during our weekend stay in Hudson we ware lucky enough to get a table here and what a treat that was!We got some appetisers and threes different mains for us to try. For a moment it felt like we are in Tuscany and not in Hudson.A definite recommend!It may be our favourite Gem!!!“
“I know being I was a past waitress at the original Piccolo’s and then a general manager until retired 11/1 many will say my review is biased but being that I have had the opportunity of being in the kitchen while the food is prepared I can 100% tell you the food and sauce is made from the best of ingredients following past recipes of Chef Rodrigo and Chef Daniel. The sauce is homemade and is authentic Italian. The specials that are posted daily are made from the talents of Chef Daniel and his staff as they pride themselves on delighting the public . The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is pleasurable. ?“

“We had our daughter’s Sweet 16 party and Anthony and his staff were great. Anthony was happy to assist us with finding a DJ and photographer.Anthony gave us a lot of tips and made the event better than we hoped for. I would be happy to have more events with him and i would highly recommend his venue.“

We tired the traditional cheese slice, white slice, a meatball slice and a Sicilian slice... all of them were simply out of the world.... the day's special shrimp chowder was decadent and the made to order calzone with sausage and pepperoni filling was definitely worth the wait....“

“The pizza does not disappoint! We ordered two slices and some soft drinks and sat at the bar area. Within that first bite we were ordering two more slices. I love spinach pizza. Pomodoro's spinach pizza did not disappoint. I will go back just for that! The service was excellent. We felt valued as customers. Also when you sit at the bar counter, you can see into the pizza prep area. Everyone who works at the restaurant has a good attitude, friendly smile, works well with each other and treated each customer like you would want to be treated.“
“I called Stella's in Hudson today at noon asking for a huge favor. It is my nephews graduation party and one of the people who were supposed to bring a dish couldn't at the last minute. I asked if there was any way they could make a large pan of any type of pasta for me that I would need in the next hour. The girl that answered told me usually they need 24 hours notice but she said let me see what I can do. When she picked up she said is baked Ziti ok? I of course said perfect. They made a huge pan of Ziti for the party and it was delicious!! Such great service!!!“
