“My husband and I went for dinner. We had a reservation and was greeted by the hostess, Madeline, who sat us right away. She was such a delight. She checked on us during dinner to make sure everything was going well. The chef also came to say hello and to make sure everything was to our liking. It totally was!! We ordered too much food because it was hard to decide on one thing. Shrimp cocktail and calamari appetizers. So good! Each was more than enough for two people! We ordered dinner from the 'specials' menu. Hubby had the 12oz grilled ribeye... and couldn't eat it all. I ordered the beef short ribs...sooo tender! Everything was delicious, including the drinks! “First time there. The food was good, the portions were large and the staff were very friendly and polite but with that being said, the service wasn't all that great. Drove up from the Bronx and even though it was enjoyable, I won't be going back. Why? Because I hate to be "nickel & dimed" ...I never question prices. I order what I want but when the check is upwards of $70 but I see I was charged for both cups of coffee, it's a turn-off! A little advice: let your customers be aware that there are no free refills on a cup of coffee instead of surprising them with a $10 charge for coffee. Good luck!“
