“New to area. Decided to try this restaurant this evening & so very glad we did!! Don't let the outside appearance of this establishment fool you. The interior is clean, warm & inviting. Staff is very friendly. Our server Diego ( hope I spelled it correctly) was, informative, professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to chat with. A matter of fact, in today's dark & divided climate; he was a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed his menu suggestions very much. The food was a plus 10! They even gave my husband and I a salmon & rice appetizer to sample, to welcome us to the area. Seriously, who does this anymore? Top notch customer service!! Most enjoyable meal & evening. Deff will be our go to restaurant for Japanese/sushi.“

“Great family experience! The Chef/Samurai did a great hob chopping and simmering our noodles/rice/steak/chicken/scallops and shrimp.
Everyone loved their meals and the pace was nice and even between soup, salad and main courses!

“Shared chicken teriyaki with extra meat with noodles and veggies- $17. Did the job. Chicken was tender & tasty. Not much taste on noodles and veggies (cabbage/broccoli) but they were not over cooked. 👍 I definitely prefered that it was not overly salted rather than overkill on the salt. Very fast service.“

Waiter Han and Chef Lou worked so seamlessly together—it honestly elevated the entire evening. Han was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, while Chef Lou brought amazing energy, skill, and flavor to the table.

“I've been going here for years & the food is great & fairly priced. They have a great maki lunch meal with soup/salad & 3 rollls for a decent price. Their bento box is great! You gey to choose 2 meats plus a roll, shumai, rice & tempura veggies and soup & salad. Very good. Even better they a stamp card & you get stamps for every $25 you spend. Once card had has 10 stamps you get a $25 gift card to apply to your next visit. Honestly, lovely staff & calm environment. So glad its a neighborhood staple.“
