“Samurai offers delicately styled sashimi at responsible price. They have some of the best sushi in Westchester that I have tasted. The wait staff is attentive. Not willing and wanting to travel to NYC, Samurai is a fine alternative and you will not be disappointed.“
“We had the soup dumplings with the sushi entre combo. 3 and a baby. We spent 95 not including tip.Food was delicious, portions were filling, they had high chairs and plenty of spaceParking: Plenty of parking and a lot nearbyKid-friendliness: Family restaurant“
“I absolutely LOVE the food here. It’s immensely Fresh and the chef and staff really take their time and prepare a great experience. It’s hands down the best Japanese food in All of rockland county . Everything is very reasonably priced as well. Love this place !“
“Everything was delicious, we ordered Sushi and Hibachi, very nice show although at the time of the show and distributing the food the person who performs the show is a little careless because the food falls on all sides of the table but I suppose it is part of the show. The attention was very good always attentive to our needs. I liked the detail with the presentation of the sushi in addition to the very fresh flavor.“
“Absolutely phenomenal sushi. The nicest place, staff, and food!! Recently moved from the city and had lost hope in finding good sushi - no longer!! Thank god for this place!! May you live long. Shout out to the owners - if you should ever be on the verge of closing, please reach out to me. I now have a stake in your success and will mobilize in the event of your need.“
“We were very pleased with the quality of the food. I had a 'blend' which were Eel Sushi Appetizer. Following with Spicy Eggplant Tofu and Sautéed sting beans with beef. Probably the most authentic Chinese entrees that we've had up around this area. It was nice to enjoy the meal in a quiet atmosphere with very attentive service. We plan on revisiting in the future“
“What is this place doing in Tarrytown?! It's great food with a fun menu and atmosphere. I tried the umami bomb with the uni and the fish was all super fresh and delicious. Table also got gyoza and the dirty avocado - both which were great. Really good service and good music. Plus BYOB which is the best.“
“First time here and definitely not the last! Met my nephew here, it's his favorite place and I see why. Food was absolutely sumptuous; tempura appetizer was crisp and light, sushi and sushi rolls were delectable, chicken teriyaki was served on a sizzling cast iron mini skillet with hijiki (black seaweed for those who don't know) and simply dazzling. Service was impeccable; food was served promptly, water and tea were kept filled without having to ask, requests (extra pickled ginger) were addressed expediently. This place rivals anything in Manhattan and far surpasses anything of its kind up here. No parking lot but I took a chance and parked in the Key Food shopping center across the street; my nephew parked on the street and had no issue with metered parking. Yes the staff is Chinese, not Japanese, but so what? Aren't all the cooks and servers in Italian restaurants Latino? Get over it, for that dude who complained that it's a Japanese restaurant run by Chinese people. All that matters is that THE PEOPLE performed beyond expectation and delivered brilliantly.“
“I enjoyed all the food we ordered! Three different dishes ... sushi which was served toward the end of the dinner .. I think they forgot to make it!! We had chicken chow fun ... shrimp with a cream sauce along side of fried white meat chicken ... another dish with chicken, beef and shrimp in a brown sauce and white rice. The restaurant is very clean and the staff very friendly!! An enjoyable dinner ... we will return!! They had many take out orders also.“
“Love the food, the attentive staff and the atmosphere. Entertainment on a portion of the weekend and consistently great food and service. Highly recommended!Parking: Enough parkingWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible as long as it’s not crowded“
“One of the only places around that is Asian food with a nice atmosphere. The dumplings were especially delicious, and the salad and miso soup were especially good. Then the bento box is always fun. The only negative was that the teriyaki chicken could have a little more char on it.“
“Ordered shrimp and filet hibachi and it was absolutely delicious, not even exaggerating but the filet was the best piece of steak I ever had, it cut like butter.... with a plastic fork. The shrimp had the fresh texture and tasted amazing. Will order again!“
“Each dish was packed with flavor and genuinely impressed me! Lots of creative touches like the creamy mushroom sauce on the gyozas, wasabi masago served with the ceviche, and the blueberry compote in the fried banana dessert. The tuna avo roll while simple hit the spot (rice still warm + perfect tempura crunch) and the duck paired with mashed potatoes was fire. Lots of unique takes on Japanese classics - memorable meal with no complaints!“
“Always drove by it and saw advertising in our local Clipper but never jumped in until a few days ago. Three Asians cuisine, Chinese, Japanese and Thai. Had dinner with my family, my daughter ordered shrimp fried rice, my wife had Mei fun noodles while I ordered the yellow curry tofu. We all also shared sushi rolls, sashimi and hand rolled sushi. My curry dish was amazing just as good as if I had it at a Thai only restaurant. My daughter said the best fried rice she’s had and the same with my wife’s noodle dish. Plenty of different dishes to choose from specially if your family can agree on a cuisine. The service was great and attentive and the atmosphere was nice and mellow.Vegetarian options: Tofu or just veggies can be substituted.“
“Min Sushi is the best sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. Everything is freshly made and flavorful and the rolls are well combined. It used to take a bit longer to order but with the addition of the new chef there has been a faster service. The owner is really kind and the staff are friendly. Definitely check out Min Sushi in Stony point. They’ve got you!“
“My boyfriend and I go here often, to the point where they kind of already know what we will order. They're always super friendly and the food is very tasty. I enjoy the teriyaki options but my boyfriend loves the shrimp tempura rolls. And you can't miss their Banana tempura or fried icecream!!! I would recommend trying it out for a date night!“
“Sakura in Rockland, NY has never missed since I started going here years ago! The sushi is always very fresh and melt in your mouth - they have sake, wine, great appetizers and a revolving specials menu that always satisfies. What I ordered: - Good 4 You Roll - Salmon and tuna nigiri - Strawberry Japanese Soda RATINGS Food - 9 Ambiance - 8.5 Service - 9 Service - 9“
“Well first time here and so far impressed. Just ate some great shishito peppers one absolutely fire. Will cool down with Lobster Mango Avacado Orange Fruit salad Followed by a Yellowtail jalapeño Mango roll and Salmon Sweet Shrimp roll. This was presented well and tasted better. Then to our surprise they gave us tempura green tea ice cream.“
“Hirame Sushi is hands down the best sushi restaurant in Yorktown. As a locally family-owned business, they not only serve top-quality sushi but also support the community by employing local students. Every time I walk in, I am greeted by name and the staff knows my order by heart, making me feel like a valued customer. I highly recommend trying the Dragon Ball and Passion Roll - they are absolutely delicious and always leave me wanting more. The freshness of the ingredients and the attention to detail in every dish really sets Hirame Sushi apart from other sushi restaurants in the area. If you're looking for a great dining experience with amazing sushi, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Hirame Sushi. You won't be disappointed!“
“If you ever want cheap and really good Japanese food, this is the place they have the best prices when it comes to Japanese food I recommend ordering and picking up from here. my wife and I order from this place every two weeks and every time we order we always get the chicken teriyaki and a seaweed salad and it is absolutely amazing. it’s fresh and it’s good quality for the price of the food.“
“Sushi Thai is my favorite restaurant in this Westchester area. There's a wide variety, and all are delicious. I especially like the spring rolls, seaweed salad and special rolls. My favorites are the Tiger Roll and Pink Lady Roll. I can't understand why this restaurant is not more popular. Perhaps because the ambience is not cozy -- but that means I can always find a table.“
“This place was amazingly fun. The only negative was the wait. We had 6pm Reservations, but did not get seated till an hour later. Due to prior guest arriving late. They made up for it with two rounds of free drinks, and a few free apps. Once we got seated, the chefs were super fun and the food was good. Will definitely be back.“
“Love this place, we try to arrive before 7 because it gets busy and you have to wait for a table. The sushi is great and the employees are always nice. The price is about 43 per person including tax and tip.Parking: For large groups, it’s best to call ahead otherwise you will have to wait a while.“
“We love dining at Asagao Sushi. The food is excellent. The fish is fresh, you have a choice of either sushi or ramen, and the presentation of the food makes it hard to dig in cause it is so beautiful. The service is professional and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Tonight we had a sashimi platter it contained 9 different fish! Each better than the next. And Chef Park and his amazing team shows great hospitality, they greet you on your way in and thank you for visiting them on the way out. You always feel welcome and appreciated.“
