“We were in food heaven. I brought my father and brother here for my dad's early birthday dinner. They are from out of town. We had originally picked a different spot, but the wait was long, so we wound up here, and I'm sooooo happy about it. We had a little bit of everything. Our server was so accommodating with how she brought out our mass amounts of food. The cleanest fried food I've ever had. Fresh, full seafood. More seafood than batter. Very flavorful. I picked up a rib and it fell right off the bone. Best crab cake ive had since Maryland. Mostly meat, not filler. We are all happily eating lots of left overs. This is one of my new fav spots when I have visitors. The lake view and breeze as you walk out makes it even more wonderful. Five star food, five star service“

“?????I have driven by Hoak's so many times but I have never stopped. I even thought that it would be expensive but it was very reasonable. The food was amazing. The view is gorgeous. Right on the lake. I have moved so I am about an hour and a half away from Hoak's. Anytime that I am in the Buffalo area. I am definitely going to eat at Hoak's. Really this place is perfect for anytime you want to eat. Rather it be a big meal or a snack. You really need to stop here and eat. ?????“

“We LOVE coming here! Food is always fresh and hot when served! French onion soup is great and I’ve loved the fish fry every single time! Sides are great! Love the new addition of the bar! I also appreciate their attention to detail and cleanliness. Staff is always polite and prompt. We visited last night again, and talked with one of the owners and heard a bit of their story. They hire young people and give them the chance to hone their skills working with the general public, which isn't easy, but a great life lesson! “The bartenders Sheri was amazing! Made everything so fun and made me the greatest Ham club sub around, normally don’t eat at little bars like this but she changed my mind about little pubs . She made the atmosphere so light and fun. First time there and it was so welcoming. Make sure you go in when she’s there . You won’t be disappointed.“
