“Love this place and love the ice cream don’t get much better than this love the staff super nice love the remodeling the building was great before but I didn’t realize how much it really needed the update. The portions are great size and the staff is and was always a great help. I always enjoyed that they had food so you could eat before the ice cream. I loved the old owner but I absolutely enjoyed the upgrade that the shop got. If you’re looking for a good ice cream and friendly people come here. The scenery is great and i love how secluded the spot is and it’s in such a cute town. If there were one thing I would change that would be the parking area. I wish the parking was bigger because of how busy it can get. This is very special place to most and to me as well so thank you to the new owner for keeping the tradition going. Overall I believe this is the best ice cream experience I have ever had.

Kid-friendliness: The kids will love the ice cream and enjoy the open space

Wheelchair accessibility: Awesome for people with limited movement my grandpa was able to go here even when he was dying so I do recommend“

Chicken Wings

“I was there to celebrate a friend's birthday, and had never been there before. Local bar, nothing to write home about, til the wings came out. Wow!!! I was sort of just expecting regular wings but these were awesome! I don't eat hot food, but I can handle a few wings on occasion. I think these were medium and perfect for me. They were juicy, meaty, and not overcooked. Then it just got better. They came out with one flavor after another and each one was better than the one before. Honey Mustard - delish, regular - yum, but the bbq/teriyaki/sweet n sour, whatever they were, are by far my favorite. I skipped the garlic ones, but went back for seconds and thirds. If you're in the mood for wings, I highly recommend them. Four stars because there were a lot of us there and the wings came out ten at a time, and the karaoke contest, although entertaining, was at time painful.“

“We stopped here for lunch the other day and it was absolutely delicious. The food had great flavor and the portion size was spot on for the price point. On top of the food, the view. Sitting out on the deck, looking over the lake was stunning. Service was great too. 11/10. Will be back for dinner! We also got homemade dill pickles for a complimentary starter which was really neat!“

“I can not say enough great things about this little gem of a place. Wish we knew about it sooner. The fresh homemade soups are amazing and the pies are unbelievable. For Thanksgiving my mother-in-law always makes the pies but due to health issues couldn't this year. We asked around and heard about this place taking homemade pie orders. Stopped in to check it out and ended enjoying homemade soup, a great breakfast sandwich and ended taking home a whole pie after placing our order. We ordered 9 pies and 8 were different types of pies and even special ordered one type of pie not on their extensive list. They were so accommodating about what we thought was a huge request and even let us pick up these pies on Wed afternoon before Thanksgiving and they were all FRESH!!! And while grabbing the pies we took advantage of that days homemade soup and had a fantastic dinner that evening with the soup.Talk about a hit on Thanksgiving!! Pies were fresh and delicious. Crust unbelievably flaky and tasty. the whipped cream on the cream pies were incredible and fresh. Not like you get in restaurants but like mom makes. The chocolate cream pie was the best we all had ever hadWe special ordered a custard pie which my mother-in-law always makes and it did not disappoint. It was mother-in-law approved as tasting like she had made it. The best comment from her was she was never making pies again and she wants us to order our Christmas pies from here too!!Truly a fantastic find and can't wait to try one of the fish dinners and their chili everyone talks about.“
