“Tobala is so worth the visit! We decided to give Tobala a try and we were not disappointed. The initial entry was warm and inviting, and we were immediately seated. The ambiance was romantic and cozy and the layout was efficient and flowy.
The playlist was great, the service was excellent and the food was impeccably delicious! We almost did not want to disturb it. Everything was spot-on!
The appetizers were small , but fresh, tasty and delish! The entrees were a bit larger in portion, delicious and filling! The prices were steep, but this place serves authentic high quality foods. We were glad that we chose Tobala for our date night! We enjoyed the desserts— the bunuela and the tres leches, I preferred the center of my tres leches not be so distinctively orange-flavored.
We plan to return to Tobala, it was worth the trip!“

“I loved the ambience. Music was great too. I ordered Clams Casino and was very disappointed. Tasted dirty and had no toppings; no bread crumbs and no bacon. You can tell they did not put much effort into the clams. Husband ordered Shrimp cocktail, though they were not bad, we’ve had much better. They were unappetizing. After we finished our appetizers, we so as I’m writing this review and asked our waiter twice for our food, they keep saying they are very busy; not cool. Not inclined to come back and wait 30 minutes after appetizers for my dinner. Still waiting…Valentine’s Day has been ruined for us.
I have to edit this review because of the excellent response the manager or maître d’ Kensey had when he found out our disappointment. He immediately came to our table and asked us what we were disappointed with and how he can fix it. He offered another dinner and it was cooked immediately. He came back with a Filet Mignon with mushrooms, potatoes and vegetables. They also comped our Lamb Chops dinner and our drinks. Thank you for your excellent customer care! We will visit again on a day they’re not so overwhelmed with business. BTW loved the free Valet Parking!“

“Louie's On The Avenue has been our favorite local restaurant for years ..however last Friday Stephanie and her team knocked it out of the park! with 24 hours notice, they helped plan, decorate, cater and Host our impromptu wedding. “Parking is a BIG issue for this restaurant, just a suggestion for Valet services in the future. The food however was FANTASTIC..had the grilled ( not fried ) Calamari and the filet Mignon and lobster tail. Both were seasoned and cooked to perfection and served at the right temperature, portion size was generous. But most importantly the fish was not fishy smelling or tasting which means the quality of food is good. I will definitely go back on an off night to see if parking is any better.. but strongly suggest Valet.“
