“while I understand there are rules for large groups over six, the staff was extremely rude and made us feel unwelcome.we were told we could wait for a group to clear out. when we approached the bar to look at the selection we were told we couldn't stand there. per the website groups of of 11-20 recommend a reservation, but state it's not required.very rude staff, not friendly at all. won't be back!“
“My son,daughter in law, husband and I stopped in impromptu on a rainy afternoon in May. The folks there were pleasant and helpful and a joy to talk to. The wine was wonderful! We recommend the Nectar and the Cranberry if you like a sweeter wine. Wonderful experience!“
“We held our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner here on Thursday and the experience from beginning to end was off the charts amazing! Kathy was very responsive and great to work with. Absolutely went above and beyond. Food was delicious and the service was fabulous. Everyone was still raving about it the next day! Would recommend this place to anyone looking to hold a similar event. Not ridiculously overpriced like most places once the word “wedding” is used. And did I mention how beautiful the views are from the dining room and patio area?!? 10 out of 10!! Thank you to Glenora’s Veraisons staff!!“

“Our group really enjoyed our time at Keuka Springs.
We made a reservation in advance since there were 8 of us. Our nondrinkers still needed to pay to stand with us at the outdoor bar, which was disappointing but we understood it was taking a space from other customers.
The wines were excellent and the employees were great. After the tasting, we bought glasses of wine to sit on the adirondack chairs overlooking the lake – lovely! The Crooked Lake White was a favorite for our group, we bought a couple of bottles to enjoy with dinner.“

“This is the first winery I had ever gone to. We were staying in Watkins Glenn and wanted to try one of the many wineries in the area. We happened to pick this one because it was fairly close. What luck! It turns out Hazlitt is one of the larger wine producers in the area and the makers of a super famous line of wines called Red Cat. The tasting room was a great experience. The person who led the tasting was very friendly and informative. We liked most of the wines and ended up buying a number of bottles to take along. I highly recommend this winery if you are in the Seneca Lake area. If you aren't from New York, make sure you buy LOTs of bottles before you leave because this wine is almost impossible to find in other states. I had to order some on-line to replenish my stock!“

Absolutely amazing.. every taste was an absolute winner. 💯
We tried 2 others.. more popular places, we wouldn't return to them ever again!
But plan to go back to Boundary Breaks before we leave the area for 2 more bottle of wine to take back to New Jersey (where we live) and Australia for Christmas.
Please make a point of visiting this winery staff incredible and wine as good better than most!

“Such a great experience. We had two flights and a lager each. We really enjoyed the Rose Cuvee and the Unoaked Chardonnay. The staff was super attentive and was able to answer all questions. It was nice to be able to bring our dog actually inside as most vineyards only allow them outside. Highly recommended.“

“I loved this place. I was a bit skeptical at first but I think that added to the charm. The house is almost 200 years old. The owner/winemaker gave us our tasting. You could tell it was a passion. The wines were almost all good too great. I would have bought a few bottles regardless, but this is one of the best values we saw up here as his price point is well below most others. “Spent the first weekend in October, going to different wineries around Seneca Lake on both the east side and west side. This one was by far one of the best. The atmosphere is great, the service wonderful! The wine samplings were perfect, and the food was the best that we had at any Vineyard. We got the wings, which were probably some of the best I have ever had anywhere, olive appetizer and their chicken sandwich with potato wedges. Everything was cooked perfectly! And so so tasty!

“This winery has made it to my top five places in the finger lakes!! Incredible wine and great vibe with an amazing view! The guy giving the tasting was easy to talk to and friendly. I like how the wine danced on my taste buds robust flavor definitely great with red wine definitely joined the wine club and can’t wait to go back. It was extremely hot so we stayed inside, but I promise you the view is beautiful.“

“The wine was nice, the popcorn palate cleanser was a different take which I appreciated. We brought our own meat/cheese spread which went well. The service was good and there was a nice view. Our party left with 4 bottles of semi-sweet wine. This was our 4th stop of the day so my grandmother sat this one out and had a nice nap in the rocking chair.“
“If your looking for a place with excellent tasting wine, a gorgeous view of the lake, a super friendly, casual, fun vibe and exceptional service this is THE PERFECT place!! I grew up right in the finger lakes with wineries within walking distance from me and this place is the best by far! They have delicious varieties of wine that will please any palate! The owner was there and made sure everything was exceptional! While we were enjoying our tastings, he would check in and ask questions to see how we liked them, after giving him feedback he gave us each another sample of a wine he suggested based on each of our unique palates and likings and he was SPOT ON for each of us! He was so friendly! You can tell how much he takes pride in everything not just the wine but also the service and the overall vibe and ambience. Making sure everyone feels comfortable, laid back, and happy. We had such a great time there that we left with bottles and HAD to come back the next day for the outdoor wood burning pizza oven and more wine with our families and kids. When we got there he welcomed us and gave our kids some juice packets! We played with our kids in the huge lawn/hill, sat in the Adirondack chairs enjoying our pizza, wine and the gorgeous view! Life couldn’t get any better than that! That place was the highlight of our family vacation! If you’re in the area and you don’t check it out you’re missing out.“
“Delicious burger and wine pairing! Give Red Newt a try for your next weekend lunch, you'll be glad you did! I had the newt burger with fries and a glass of Red Eft. The local ingredients create a hearty meal that fueled me rather than weighed me down. Can't wait to try another burger or a grilled cheese and soup. They put an elegant twist on all they do with bright and friendly staff.“

“Good pours. Good selections to try ciders and mead or mead blends . But needs some crackers or other to cleanse palate between tastings. There is no food and staff just pour based on your selection. Not much information. Seems like they are summer staff.“

“We had a fantastic time out at Sanstone Vineyards for a wedding.
The space is really beautiful out by the ceremony location however, there is some building going on across the field. As long as they’re quiet on the weekend, it makes for a beautiful view of the mountains!
The Cocktail our space by the pool Is dreamy and gives off a very fun Napa vibe.
The reception location is perfect because it’s covered yet. It’s open air so you get a nice breeze and a beautiful view of the mountains and the vineyard.
The team on site is so friendly and helpful. They will set up all of the tables and chairs so you just have to do the decorating. This is incredibly helpful.
Sandstone is a great location, close enough to hotels and rideshare options that gives Off a very country vineyard feel.
It’s also a really great option for a wedding because they do require you to use the curb catering and mobile bar which cuts down on you having to find Additional different Vendors. (Not to mention, the food is really good!)
Overall, a really excellent option in the Treasure Valley to host your wedding or event!“

“We stopped in yesterday and had a nice bottle of wine. Assistant Wine Maker Rhett Seeley stopped by to chat. Never met him before, but he was passing by and we asked him for some recommendations. He was extremely helpful and friendly. We ended up buying the wines he recommended as well as some beautiful garlic, a bag of coffee and some wine glasses! They are known for their dry reds and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend adding Hector Wine Company to your list of stops along the wine trail.“

“This winery has the best reds in the area! My husband and I stop by every time we are in finger lakes. Tastings are priced on par with every other place, they offer 2 whites and 3 reds. You won’t find beautiful lake views or even places to sit. This place is all about great wine“
