“I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

“We had my husband’s 60th birthday celebration dinner with 13 people at Jackson Hall on Sunday 12/21. The food was amazing and the service was excellent! I definitely recommend the burnt ends and calamari as appetizers, the lobster rolls, tomahawk pork chop (tremendous) and the pork osso buco was outstanding! We definitely left there with full bellies and leftovers 😊. Such a great restaurant“

“My family and I visited on Sunday, November 16, 2025, and had Gianna as our server. She greeted us with a smile and gave us time to decide what we wanted to order. She made appetizer recommendations, and we went with the loaded fries.

The main meal arrived HOT; maybe I should have waited just a minute to sample my skillet meal! Gianna was always available for us and made sure that our glasses were never empty. She is a valuable asset to Applebee's East Islip.

We WILL be asking to have Gianna as our server from now on!“

“What a find! When a little snow scares off lesser cafes from opening, Hometown pulls up the slack. Old school rugged mindsets and hearty meals for more than reasonable prices.I'm glad my usual breakfast stop was closed, Hometown is my new favorite!Eggs bacon toast and coffee done right. Came out fast after ordering. You cant go wrong.Fabulous service. I noted everyone knew customers names as they entered. That is a great sign. “We had a fantastic dinner at the Brewhouse last night. The food, service was excellent. Our server did a very good job. We highly recommend this place. Our only complaint was that we spent in excess of $200 for dinner and drinks, we were charged .50 cents for an additional dressing for the Baja Chicken bowl. Seriously the management feels the need to charge this after pouring it from a giant container in the kitchen?? We were told that this the policy. Management/owner should review this absurd charge after you spend decent money. This should be absorbed elsewhere and not openly charged to customers on the bill.
$27.00 dish and you cant include two tablespoons of sauce?

Otherwise a great place to have dinner with family and friends.“

“I was greeted by the most pleasant, professional young lady named Ayanna. She immediately brought us to the table of our choice and then inform us that she would also be our server. She did not leave until she informed us of menu options that she thought we might be interested in and asked us if there was anything that we needed right away. When I told her to give us a little bit of time, she pleasantly agreed and did hesitate to frequently check on us to see if she could meet our needs. I ordered a cocktail for myself and a drink for my son, who accompanied me, and we placed our dinner order. Our food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Throughout dinner, she checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything that we needed. She also made pleasant conversation which I greatly appreciated as this was my first time at an Applebee’s location. She has gained you a customer for life. The food and the atmosphere was wonderful, but Ayanna definitely may be experience worthwhile.“

He was extremely thorough in explaining what menu items were gluten-free and took great care to ensure there was no cross-contamination. I really appreciated his attention to detail and how knowledgeable he was about the menu. Matteo checked in with us just the right amount—often enough to make sure we had everything we needed, but never intrusive. He was friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. “Last Wednesday I was at Davis vision works and we walk to the restaurant for lunch whem we get the we were standing up for almost 15 minutes waiting for someone to give us a table. finally whem someone come to us and without asking if we need a table rigth away he say is was 15 mint wait, me while the restaurant wasn't even packed it was a lot of table empty and even like that he was going to make us to wait more. really bad service and rude attention. we have money to pay it wasn't like we were asking for a free table. people are really racist at this place. “We've had great experiences at Nu. It's a quiet spot, usually, and the food is really great. We always get filet mignon or their pork chop, which is fabulous. Their wine list is great, and the service is always top notch. I'm kind of a snob when it comes to service. I like to have great service but also be left alone, which is exactly what they do. The servers have always been attentive and professional. They know what to recommend and can advise you on the menu. I have to repeat. Their food is GREAT! although I do always order the filet mignon. It's the best .“

“I had an issue on uber eats where my food wasn’t made correctly from a separate location. I called and honestly wasn’t the kindest at first because I thought I wasted my money. Both the worker at the front and Kevin the owner were so so kind despite it and helped this issue and made me a new order for half off. They were extremely kind and caring and I apologized over and over for my mistake as I also didn’t realize it was a separate location. They were so kind and so helpful I really appreciate their help as well as how this was handled.“

“New Year's Eve at The Lakehouse was one of the most special evenings we have had in a long time. The ambience and decorations are absolutely beautiful, there was beautiful instrumental music playing that was not too loud and we were able to have easy conversation. Our waiter was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious! The staff was smiling and could not have been nicer. We could not have been happier and it felt really special to be there and we will be back again soon.!!!“
