“Hellenic in East Marion was incredible! This was my first Greek meal in 5 years since before my diagnosis. I haven't been able to eat safe from cross contamination gluten free Greek food and today I was sooo happy! Hellenic makes their own gluten free pita bread. It was so good that I bought some frozen gluten free pita to go. We went to the farms today so we just kept driving but it will be a great place to go before or after taking the ferry to Connecticut in the future as it’s on the way. I wish it was closer to central/western Suffolk. I can’t wait to go back.”

“Great find! On a chilly winter night Nookies provided the perfect last minute (a rare occurrence, I believe) dinner for two with cool easy vibes and really yummy warming food.

Fun retro decor and neat off the beaten path spot in Southold area.

We also got a nice quick little tour of the motel and would love to stay here on our next visit out!

“Finally stopped in after meaning to for over a year and we are so glad we did!! Cute inside space with light atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer choices. We tried two flights and liked 7 of the 8 we tried. Will definitely be back to try more. They also have an outdoor seating area but it was too cold the day we went.”

“Really great tasting fish! I got the fish and chips and both were fired perfectly. Tartar sauce was good but ask for an extra one as one is not enough. Be careful on weekend lunch hour as it gets packed and also the food seems to be rushed and doesn't come out as great which would give the rating of 4.5. But overall lovely food and I always come here every summer.”

“We visited on Saturday evening during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From the moment we entered through the front door, we were welcomed by big smiles, big smells of delicious food, and what felt like a warm hug from a good friend. Classic and palette awakening cocktails. Try the brandade fritters and the best Caesar salad I have ever enjoyed. Sea bass was fresh out of the waters that surround the east end. The burger and the roasted chicken. For sides we ordered the onion gratin, romanesco and French fries. Surprise banana split for dessert. Delicious! See you again soon. Happy Holidays!”

“My wife and I LOVE Maroni's Restaurant. It is our very favorite place. Their cuisine is fabulous! We love the entire menu. Recently, we tried their 'Sushi night' on tuesdays. So delicious. “The service is great - Nicole is a fantastic ice cream Barista and the owner is very friendly. Their is comfortable and spacious indoor and outdoor seating, convenient parking in the rear of the building, interesting wall art and photos, and a variety of ice creams, greek yogurts, and smoothies. This place has been a staple in the Greenport community for many years, and hopefully many more to come.”

“The most important takeaway for me was the hospitality and kindness of the staff. I arrived on a quiet night not realizing that they were preparing to close. It would have been reasonable to say they closing, but without hesitation a hot chocolate was whipped up and they were so sweet about it.The hot chocolate was a perfect balance of nostalgic sweet chocolate with a gourmet touch that made it delicious. I grabbed a brownie at the last minute and was so glad i did. The brownie was fresh, soft on the inside, and moist. Would absolutely order this again and I am excited to try their other baked items.It was just a hot chocolate and brownie, but it warmed me up on a chilly night and their kindness made my night. Awesome little place with great people.”

I always try something new, that I never thought I would eat, and end up loving. Last night the Eel hush puppies blew me away! Can’t wait to come back again!”
