“I stopped by right before they closed. Johnny waived me into the parking lot. I have heard mixed reviews and we wanted to try something new. The gentlemen were friendly and offered to make anything I wanted. I grabbed a few slices of what was left. The pizza was great. I love their crust and their sauce is tasty and not salty. I definitely will be back again.“

“The first pie I had from John at Fenice was the Detroit Red...which Tony picked up for me last week when i was at work...i finished the whole pie by just after midnight...but I had to go for the regular NY Cheese pie fresh from the oven. We scored one of the two tables there and were able to decide which of the other slices to bring home...it was like a pizza candy store. We didn't finish our pie so brought home two slices, and I wanted to try John's sicilian, I couldn't leave there without a Detroit Red slice and Tony wanted the multi cheese white pizza...every pizza we tried was perfect! something about the dough. The sauce. The cheese. The dough for the Sicilian and the Detroit Red was light and perfectly crunchy on the bottom. Flavor out of this world. We drove from White Plains just to try Pizza Fenice. worth the trip.“

“I’ve lived near this spot in New Rochelle for more than 20 years and it’s a shame that only in my last couple months of living here I started dining at this location. If I had quality like this around the corner earlier, this review would’ve appeared 10 years ago. Highly recommend their hot honey pepperoni signature you won’t be satisfied with anything else after.“

It snaps instead of biting into a pillow of heavy dough. the sauce is just right, not tart where you’ll have instant heartburn & not sweet where it tastes like some garbage out of a jar! “We stopped here while traveling from RI to PA and WOW are we glad we did. We needed a place to accommodate our small pup so we stopped to ask if they had outdoor seating. They didn’t but they created it by carrying a table and chairs outside for us - talk about customer service! Nick was such a fantastic host - setting us up, providing exceptional service and great conversation! I also can’t forget to mention how incredible the pizza and chicken roll were! This place is a 10/10 and we will definitely find a reason to stop back again!“

“Came all the way from Brooklyn to go to the Bronx Zoo and found this amazing restaurant to go to afterwards. The ambiance is chic, rustic and cozy. The food is absolutely delicious. The fried calamari was perfectly fried, the lobster ravioli was soooo yummy, and I enjoyed the pepperoni hot honey pizza as well. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. My passion fruit margarita was really good too, as were the espresso martini, cheesecake and pistachio ice cream. I highly recommend this hidden gem and will definitely return next time I’m in the area.“

“So after reading many reviews, I decided to order from here. I live nearby so I picked up. Food was fresh, stayed hot and was delicious. I got a margarita pie. The box however should’ve been a drop bigger b/c 2 pieces of pizza folded over a bit by the crust. Other than that, no complaints and I would order from here again.“

“I'm still dreaming about my experience at The Mountain House! Their tasting menu is delicious, with many options for each course that will satisfy any appetite. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the venison was the best tasting venison to exist. The fig panna cotta and pistachio cake were so rich and delicious, my taste buds will still bursting well after dinner was over. The views of the redwoods were a beautiful touch to the ambiance that made dinner even more magical.“

“I’ve loved Slices for years now. Typically go with the chicken parm sub - always enough for two meals! Tonight I tried the new PINWHEELS - I think this is a new invention of Isaac’s. Basically it’s a pizza dough roll with cheese and a pizza topping - I had one spinach pinwheel and one pepperoni. And each pinwheel comes with a generous side car of tomato sauce. The bottom of the pinwheel is really crispy - somewhat akin to a deep dish pizza. Hard to describe! Highly recommend. Chef’s kiss!“

“Ordered the spaghetti & meatballs lunch special with capellini pasta and extra sauce with a glass of ice water. The two meatballs were served sliced on both sides of a serving of al dente capellini. A generous portion of extra sauce was served in a separate bowl. Freshly shaved Parmesan cheese was presented in a stainless lidded container. The meatball slices were generous and soft and flavorful. The marinara sauce was thick and flavorful. It was a simple lunch but flavorful and filling. In the past I have enjoyed the exceptional chicken parmigiana, now one of the cheaper entrees on the main menu, and the tasty sausage and peppers. (These are offered with either pasta or salad.) I have never had their pizza which is one of their main items. Salvatore’s of SoHo is a destination Italian restaurant on Riverdale Avenue on the Bx7 bus route well worth the cost.“
