“Visited on a rainy day to celebrate our anniversary. It was a small and cozy space. Felt very intimate. We sat on the bar and it was interesting watching the chefs preparing the food. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our reservation was 5:30 on a Sunday night and we were able to do the happy hour. Literally picked everything from the bites section. The Momo’s were delicious and freshly made. Drinks were delicious. We ordered the jolly duck leg with fried rice and they were AMAZING! Highly recommended and will def come back!“

“A calm and pleasant spot for lunch.

I came during the afternoon and the place was quiet.
The staff was very friendly and even asked how the meal was at the end.
Note: It’s self-service.

Food: The hand-pulled noodles and broth were fresh and excellent.
The fried side dish was crispy and flavorful.
Drink: The iced black tea with mango was light and very refreshing.
Tip: As you can see in the video - the portions are very generous.
I recommend ordering a small size because I couldn’t finish it.

Seating: I sat by the window facing the street. It was nice to eat and watch Broadway at the same time.
There’s also an inner bar table closer to the kitchen.
The place is clean and the surrounding area feels calm and safe.

Price: Very affordable and filling.
This was my first time trying authentic Chinese food and I was pleasantly surprised.
Highly recommend and worth saving for a real local meal.“

After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

But when I went this week, I found myself disappointed that they did not serve bread. The waiter told be they do not do it anymore with no explanation. It may be a small thing, but it was significant for me.“

“What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

“The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. I've ordered curry goat from Golden Krust and other restaurants and have been consistently disappointed. THIS is the one I've been looking for 👌🏾 The meat was tender, delicious and had the perfect amount of spice to it (not too much but not too little either) The rice and peas & veggies were perfection as well. “We came to New York for a few days and had an amazing Brunch at Old John’s Diner. The coffee (an important factor!) was amazing, and the food delicious! Also the decoration is very beautiful. We were assisted by Evelyn, and she was amazing! If you go definitely ask for her service, and have some of the delicious pancakes!“

“I come to this location often and each time, the food is excellent but what keeps me coming back is the extraordinary staff and immaculate customer service. So I came in today and they were swamped. Food delivery drivers waiting for orders, people on line. I saw like 10 trays of food getting packed up lined up. Although he was working, Walen immediately looked up and acknowledged me. “How you doing sir, I’ll be right with you, my apologies.” He packed up the orders and started to take my order. I had 3 create your own orders. Although they already had a lot going on Walen took my order, still being pleasant and patient. Then as I headed to the register, Lonnie who was also getting to go delivery orders out, stopped and said I’ll be with you in one second. I told her I was in know rush because I see you guys have a lot going on. Nonetheless, she packed up the to go order in seconds, rang me up with a smile and said she always appreciates me coming. It’s like this each and every time I come. No matter how busy it is, I’m acknowledged, greatly warmly and I feel like my dollar is well appreciated. Walen and Lonnie have taken care of me in this manner many times and there’s also a young tall darker-complexion gentleman that is just as fantastic. The cucumber salad was refreshing and crunchy, while the soba was served piping hot! The dipping broth sits over a flame, keeping it hot throughout the meal. The soba noodles were chewy with a nice al dente bite, and the broth was packed with umami flavor. My only wish was that there was more meat in the broth, but overall, it was a delicious meal! You can also add more toppings to the broth, extra charge.
